We rested nearby at the Ravindra Hotel (super hotel). About the beach: throughout the hotels they clean, and where there is a construction site or cafes / wastelands are dirtier. The water is not as clear as on the islands, but it is tolerable. Be careful near the Ambassador, there are bad rumors that dirty water is there
