A beautiful beach with panoramic views of it, on island #8 of the Similan Islands archipelago.
Of the entire archipelago, two islands are open to the public, #8 and #4.
If you decide to take a tour there, then take Comfort plus with departure from the hotel at 3.30-4.30 am, depends on the location of the hotel in Phuket. Yes, camphor plus is more expensive than just a tour. But these 300-400 baht difference pays off, almost the first to arrive on the islands, when there are still no crowds of tourists like you and you can enjoy the islands not alone, of course, but with the smallest number of tourists. About 100 people who spread around the island and take good photos, literally in 1.5 hours 7-8 more speedboats arrive on the island, each with 40 people on board, the islands turn into an anthill of people and to take photos with beautiful views, you have to stand in line for 30-40 minutes at each point. In fact, you don't even have time to buy while you're queuing for photos. That's why it's better to take comfort plus as we did. You take photos and then enjoy the clear sea-green water on island #8 and the blue clear water on island #4. There are two snorkeling stops between the islands, during which you admire the corals and the fish that live in them, if you are lucky, turtles come to island #8 to eat, which circle in their graceful dance between people and speedboats and you watch them. (We were lucky). On island #3, which has the longest sandy territory, these turtles lay their eggs, which then produce new offspring. Because of this, #3 is closed to the public.
On island #8, you can find monitor lizards that go out to bask in the sun by about 09.00 in the morning, of course, you can not approach them, admire them only from a distance of 1.5 - 2 meters and do not disturb their time in the sun.
We were very pleased with our visit to this archipelago. A lot of emotions and delight. I recommend it! We took a tour through the agency "on suitcases".
The place is stunningly beautiful. It's good that hotels and tourists have been banned on the islands. Such places should be kept "pristine" and beautiful. A place that is definitely worth a visit
