All the staff are friendly, cheerful and good-natured. In the dining room, everything is included for breakfast, lunch and dinner, a buffet and much is prepared in your presence. The menu includes Fish, pork, beef, chicken, sweet potatoes, rice, potatoes, squid, shrimp, various bananas, pasta, lots of pastries and local fruits. Wine, beer, tea, coffee, ice cream and fresh juices. There are some cockroaches in the dining room, but no one pays attention to them, it's a Cube. The rooms are in a sad condition, with food (nothing new) more or less (compared to other neighboring hotels), there are only two liters of clean water in the minibar of the room. The deposit was never returned (12 days have passed). With the exchange rate of the euro and the dollar, it is generally a nightmare - at the hotel 26, and beyond 80. The water is cold, we practically did not swim in the ocean, in the pools it is also cold with a lot of chlorine and shallow in depth. An excursion to Trinidad is generally a separate story, unfortunately unpleasant. There are a lot of animators, but they are lazy, that they are there, that they are not particularly noticeable. It has become convenient with Wi-Fi - for free (and not a cook per hour), and the money is completely different now (there are no cookies anymore). Well, the people who were like that and remained like that - "what a hello is such an answer", and we already knew and know how to communicate with them - there were no problems. Going to Cuba, you just need to understand what awaits there, otherwise of course it will be hard to watch all this. Sometimes the local population wandered in, but they should not be there, the hotel territory is a separate spit, several km from the lighthouse-you will see a lighthouse in the distance. We've been wanting to visit Cuba for a long time. The dream came true on 06/10/2021. Hooray!!! We are in Cuba! It was slightly overshadowed by the passage of passport control, a long procedure, but we reacted with understanding due to the worldwide covid situation. The guide on the bus announced that accommodation in hotels in Cuba is carried out at 16.00. We always strained, because we arrived at 5.00. But it turned out to be in vain. We accommodated our large family of five in two rooms very quickly with an ocean view. The rooms, by the way, despite the reviews on the Internet, were very pleased. We managed to change our clothes, have breakfast and go to wait for the ocean. Next came the acquaintance with the service staff. All the guys are very friendly, attentive and positive. They fell in love with both children and adults. I especially want to mention: Amigo Felix Pool Bar, thank you for your attention and positive attitude towards us and our children. He called everyone by name and not only our family.👍

The hotel is old. It's unclear where the 5 stars come from. The rooms are tired, there is dust, dirt everywhere, the bed linen is dirty with stains. There wasn't even any water in our room. Cleaning doesn't come in unless you ask. The water in the shower is barely running. The blankets that are in the closet, in case it's cold to sleep under a sheet, are all in your hair. There is a musty, damp smell in the room. Breakfasts are more or less. Queues during breakfast and lunch are a separate story. The hotel is only with Russians, no foreigners were met there. The ocean is nearby, there is a bar on the ocean, animation works, you can ride catamarans and boats. The staff is very friendly, except for cleaning, they are serious guys, they are not having fun. Havana is closed, but you can ride convertibles around Varadero. Mosquitoes are eating like the last time, take the remedies. In general, it is normal, but it is not 5 stars, once again.
I am pleasantly surprised that Wi-Fi works throughout the territory, but access must be extended every 8 hours, but these are small things. The climate and atmosphere are amazing. The animators are great.

The bus that took us to the Varadero hotels took us to such hotels that it was getting scarier and scarier by the minute. The Iberostar Laguna Azul Hotel was the last in the list of hotels where we were brought and oh luck, the hotel turned out to be just a "set-off". A large room, clean territory, not small in size, plenty of places to relax, delicious but monotonous food (a normal phenomenon for an all-inclusive system), pleasant beer, undiluted alcohol, all this and much more brightened up the impression of my stay in Cuba. I recommend this hotel to everyone.
