Platon Faliraki Hotel, I recommend it to unassuming tourists who are not stuck and do not focus exclusively on the hotel and its services! In Greece, however, you need to come, not to the hotel, but for the sake of the area! Despite the fact that the hotel is 1*, with standard and, far from luxurious, breakfasts, but free Wi-Fi!!! 👍🙈
The hotel is located close to the sea, on the road to Lindos, next to the road to Rhodes! This is a super find for independent tourists! A cozy, small, family-run hotel Without crowds of tourists ) Everything is calm, family-like) The only thing to consider is that the maid enters the room without knocking and warning, opening the door with her key)) There is no "do not disturb" sign in the hotel))
You walk around the room, naked, at 8 in the morning, you are going..and then..suddenly..the door in the room opens and the maid is here..))But, you need to treat such an incident with a smile ) There is nothing to stay in the room until 8 a.m.))
Breakfast, to be honest, is meager and monotonous - cheap ham, cheese, tomatoes / cucumbers, boiled eggs + a lot of bread and rolls)there is coffee and tea.
But, the unconditional + of the hotel = location to the beach, to Rhodes, to Lindos, and to all the most interesting places /coves of Rhodes!
Also, for the recommendation, taverns: in Faliraki: Maria Mouria tavern, - I do not know the prices, but it is very tasty, atmospheric and homely) The hostess serves herself, communicates with the guests, there are discounts and a compliment in the form of ice cream 👍
There are insanely delicious seafood platters, awesome mini cabbage rolls!! and just bomb zucchini bombs!!!👍
Stegna: Gorgona Tavern!
There's just an unreal, bombastic Greek salad! You won't find such a salad anywhere else!!!+ an interesting salad serving!👍
+ insanely delicious octopus in red wine sauce! Also, there is a compliment in the form of unrealistically delicious teramisu (which is prepared by the son of the tavern owner), baklava and ice cream! 👍🥰
+ I can recommend a private guide to Rhodes by car! He will take you wherever you say, show you the most interesting places in Rhodes and the coolest photo sites!
The hotel is excellent in terms of price and quality. The beach is close, supermarkets (2 pcs) are also 300 meters away. The breakfasts are monotonous, but we never went hungry. The rooms are clean, the kitchens are also quite... The only thing is, we bought a frying pan, it was not there. I recommend it to anyone who is not going to spend time at the hotel. By the way, the jewelry store in the hotel is very decent, there are beautiful and stylish jewelry.
A cool 3-star hotel. Nice friendly staff. The room has a free safe and air conditioning, which is rare in Greece. A hairdryer can be borrowed free of charge from the reception. The breakfast buffet is quite normal. Bed linen and towels are changed every other day. It takes 7 minutes to walk to the beach, maximum. Many interesting places are easily accessible by bus. The location of the hotel is super.
