It's a very atmospheric place, I recommend visiting at least once. But I really enjoyed the road to him....perfect for Dawnhill Longford Let's try it out with the kids this year!

An amazing place! Definitely worth a visit. There is a feeling of abandonment and in places the images are spoiled by modern "savages". It is worth walking along the paths turning off them to see the images themselves. You'll have to climb the rocks for some of them, be ready. The most important thing is for those who will read it: This is how to get there. We drove from Bukhara (we hired a driver directly at the guest house, for $ 50). The navigator will bring you quite decently, only at the arch, which is impossible to miss (you are passing through it), you need to turn left (the road goes up). Further to the stop, at the end there will be a small fork, but there is a sign on a pole (to the right of it). You should see the site, another sign and a checkpoint (I attach photos of the latter)

It's a great place. A very picturesque road to this location. On the way, palm-sized turtles crawl out onto the road. There are a lot of petroglyphs themselves, big, small, people, animals. You can come in close, examine and touch. Interestingly, these petroglyphs are very similar to the petroglyphs that we saw in Altai. It's as if they were created by the same author. But there are more of them here and they are more accessible to study.
