We rented an apartment near this park. Free beautiful park with free internet. There is a museum and a zoo nearby. On hot July days, there is a lot of shade, museums and the Gothic quarter are close.
I can walk there endlessly in any weather and at any time of the day, it's nice to relax there, children are not bored, everything is beautiful and clean, I don't see any disadvantages
The first attraction that I had a chance to see upon arrival in Barcelona. Immediately set me up for a rest after the road under an orange tree (with not very tasty oranges :)) and I felt the anticipation of a great trip.
The park is beautiful and well maintained. The walk was a pleasure. A pond with waterfowl, where you can also go boating. A very picturesque place! The fountain with cascades and sculpture is simply magnificent! The only not very pleasant moment is that in some corners far from the central paths, antisocial personalities hang out, smoking something not very pleasant. However, this is my personal opinion. This may only attract someone...
An interesting and beautiful park. They also swim after visiting the zoo. On weekends it is filled with locals who arrange Thai picnics. There is a pond, and you can go boating on the pond. There is a museum on the territory of the park, which we did not get to. :) Nearby is the former market, which has been converted into an exhibition about Barcelona, and the Gothic Quarter, where you can get lost. :)
A beautiful place that is definitely worth a visit. I got there at the time of repair, but it's not scary. The negative side is that there are scammers on the street in the form of schoolchildren who ask to take part in the restoration of the park, I gave them 5 euros, and they started saying that donations are accepted from 15 euros😂
The park is not well maintained, it looks sparse. There is a terrible stench from animals (near the zoo) and a pond where geese and ducks are found. The pond is overgrown and stinks of mud, I do not advise you to walk there.
