When we arrive in Sukhumi, I walk in this park with my dog. No one supports the park - everything is in a fading state. Although for sure the park was wonderful before - but despite this, there are charming large magnolias and it is cool there in the intense heat. The disadvantage is a lot of stray dogs, and quite large ones, you need to be very careful. You definitely shouldn't come here intentionally - it's more like a square, not a park.

The nature in Sukhum is simply beautiful! There are many beautiful, exotic trees in this park. Wonderful aromas fill this place. The air is clean and humid. The atmosphere is wonderful. It is very good to walk through this park and think about high matters or the meaning of life. But as always in Sukhum, you can't do without a fly in the ointment, or rather not even tar… The paths in the park are broken. Not a penny has been invested since the collapse of the USSR. We visited Sinop Park in August 2022 and in August 2023. It can already be called a park, since there are not even elementary benches. Although a year earlier there were still a couple of shops.
Very beautiful and quite old trees. A very green place. There is a small bamboo grove at the end of the park. The park itself is not big.
I do not recommend walking on it at night and alone.
I recommend a walk through Sinop Park for a one-time photo shoot.

I do not recommend visiting! We went to the park with my husband in June 2022, walked along the main path and turned around to the exit, but a young man (apparently a local) clung on, began to ask questions in a rather cheeky tone: do we live here, does our dog walk next to us, are we on excursions. He was not alone in the park, there were still men in the distance. Then he called my husband away from me and explained that they could make "bookmarks" under the guise of tourists, and asked to show a photo on the phone, my husband opened the photo and several more tourists came into the park, at that moment he said goodbye to us. Honestly, I'm scared, he's obviously far from a policeman, it's not known how the story would end
