The park was opened in 2024 as a tribute to those who gave their lives for the Victory of Azerbaijan in the Karabakh wars and the Victory on November 8.
It is beautiful, modern, well-maintained, cozy, with several levels of light panels and impressive scale.
I arrived in Baku in October 2024,
when active work was underway to create and improve the Park, and it was officially opened on November 08.
I first admired its beauty in December. In 2024, and in May of this year, I was lucky enough to rent an apartment with all the windows facing it .
I met the dawn there and saw off the sunset.
It was a joy to milk me.
The park is very well located, it is located at the junction of the new office center - the hallmark of Baku, near the Crescent Mall, and along the boulevard. Its length is 4,800 of my steps.
This is a must-visit place if you are going to or are already in Baku.
Walking through Victory Park in Baku, the eye immediately catches on to the majestic arch with the number 8 in the middle. Its height is 44 meters, and this is no coincidence: the arch symbolizes the 44 days of the war. This place is filled with deep meaning, and every element here means something. (But this is not accurate, it was not possible to find what exactly on the Internet) Manicured flower beds, cascading waterfalls and thoughtful architecture create an atmosphere of respect and remembrance. The park is not just beautiful, it makes you think and feel the history. It is definitely worth a visit and it is better to do it in warm and sunny weather. In winter, this place is harsh, as it blows from all sides.
