The history of the Parthenon, which began 2,500 years ago, did not give the once main temple of ancient Athens a chance to reach our times in a less ruined form... Nature and the Venetians did their best, who did not spare the cannonballs during the shelling of the Parthenon in September 1687... One way or another, the Parthenon has been under restoration for the last half century... Frankly speaking, having visited the Acropolis of Athens twice, with a break of five years, it was not possible to notice any special changes in the restoration of the Parthenon.
One of the most important and significant attractions in the world, a place for tourists from all countries, which of course is very interesting and extremely interesting to visit.

The Parthenon is a temple built in honor of Queen Athena of ancient Greece. It's a very ancient structure.
The disadvantage is a very old building.
Subscribe and like it. Good luck.
I wish everyone to visit here.
The Parthenon is the largest temple of antiquity. A unique creation of mature classics, a symbol of the artistic power of Athens of the 5th century BC. The talent of the personality of Pericles and the brilliant architect Phidias in this monumental architectural monument. It is built of white Pentelian marble, measuring 69.5 x 30.86 meters and 13.72 meters high. It is decorated with columns 10.43 meters high - 8 columns on the facades and 17 on the long sides. Each architectural module of the Parthenon obeys the ratio 4:9 /golden ratio/.
A significant part of the original masterpieces of the Parthenon are now in the British Museum. Despite the centuries-old history of loss and damage, the Parthenon still amazes and enchants with the harmony, perfection and power of the classical Greek spirit.
