Good morning! We are leaving this heavenly place today. The rest at the Villa Nautica hotel left only positive emotions. I would like to mention Daniel, who was in touch with us 24/7 via WhatsApp. He booked us restaurants, spas, answered any questions. And also, I want to thank the hotel for decorating the room for my dr and a delicious cake in the restaurant. I was very pleased! We had a villa with a swimming pool, the feeling that you are alone on the island, such privacy👍 I want to mention the food, I think it was as diverse as possible. Drinks are expensive here, a non-alcoholic mojito is $ 14, a glass of wine is about the same. The sea is beautiful, but there is little reef. But there are sooo many sharks here! We swam with them) The hotel highly recommends 👍

We visited in 2018. I really liked it. The bungalow is right on the beach, delicious food, cool sea. In the morning, we went out to meet the dawn on the other side of the island, the tide was out there, and the sea was always in our bungalow.

We visited this hotel 5 years ago. The island is big, beautiful, and green, but even then it was clear that everything needed to be updated. And when we found out that the hotel had been renovated and even changed its name (from Paradise to Nautica), we decided to give it a second chance. But it was a complete disappointment. The bungs were still decrepit. The buggy tracks have been renovated, but the rooms themselves are in terrible condition. In some places, something was tinted or covered up with a blunder. The waiting rooms are mildewed and shabby. There used to be hammocks on the island, but now even that is missing. The restaurant has the only boat for a backdrop. Everything is very poor, it doesn't even come close to 5 stars. The food is monotonous and everything is with curry, there is almost no seafood (tuna only). Check-in is strictly after 14:00. Although we have been to different islands and this is very rare. The guests were from the road, tired, and always checked into pre-arranged rooms upon arrival. There are no rooms here, even if there are a lot of empty rooms (we walked around the island while waiting for check-in and watched how many empty houses there were). If you check out at 12:00, you can provide a guest room for 30 minutes. They warn you that it takes 30 minutes to wash up. We had an 8-hour wait before departure and it was raining. We asked them to extend the house for an additional fee before departure. They refused, and after some indignation they gave us a waiting house, otherwise you'd have to sit at the reception desk for 8 hours in the rain. They don't give you soap in the rooms unless you ask for it. They'll give you a small piece. There is not a single shelf for accessories in the shower, they put everything on the floor. One unfortunate outlet that was suitable for charging the phone was dangling, and in order to dry your hair with your hair dryer, you had to ask to hold it at the outlet. There was an outlet in the bathroom, but she didn't pull either the phone or the hair dryer. Insufficient power. All sockets have 3 inputs. So much for renovation and renovation. There is nothing new there, just one name. All the deck chairs are shabby, and the mattresses are old with holes in them, plus brown leatherette, which heats up in the sun in a second and can burn yourself. There are also green fabric ones in some places. They're better. There are no animals in the water at all. The corals are dead. We saw only 2 small sharks. That's it!! You will be taken snorkeling for a fee, although many hotels in the Maldives take you for free and even twice a day. Rooms from 240-190 will have a view not of the ocean, but of a lagoon with a shoal and a strange island of garbage about which waves are beating and very noisy. Those who are traveling for the first time and have not been there before or even arrived for the first time, think that it is 5 stars. Not really. And you won't give me 4. We were disappointed. There are many other islands with smaller stars, cheaper, and more modern and good food. This hotel is not worth the money we paid. If you get a big discount, for example, 1000 euros, 7 nights for two with some food, then you might think because it's 15 minutes by boat close to Male. But I would never give more for this hotel.
