It is definitely worth visiting when traveling around the Ivanovo district or Polesie. In the future, it is planned to restore the Dostoevsky estate. It is located on the territory of the school named after F. M. Dostoevsky.

I am proud that I was born here, because this is where the Dostoevsky family came from!!! Hurray! The school is named after F.M.Dostoevsky. The monument is a landmark of the village of Dostoevo!

According to partially unconfirmed data, this is the place of origin of F.M.'s ancestors.Dostoevsky. The story is confusing, but most of all it corresponds to the documentary data. The Dostoevsky estate was presented to boyar Rtischev in 1506, and all descendants began to bear the surname Dostoevsky. Starting from the 18th century, the estate changed owners several times, in the end the estate burned down, only the neglected park remained. There is a monument to F.M. in the village.Dostoevsky.
