Even the room is clean, with fresh snow-white linens, 1 body towel per guest and one foot towel per room. The room has a kettle, TV, table, bedside table, wardrobe, cup, coffee cup and saucer, coffee and tea, sugar, soap, shampoo. Basically, there is everything you need to stay. Very friendly and unobtrusive staff! In principle, an excellent price/quality ratio, if you are not particularly picky. We only came to the room to spend the night, we had a shower, a clean bed and a kettle to have breakfast in the morning. Therefore, even if there are some disadvantages, I recommend the hotel for your stay.
The water sometimes disappeared, completely, both hot and cold. The hotel itself is located on a mountain, the climb is quite steep, with heavy bags or in old age, I would not recommend walking, only by transport. The renovation is stale, of course, but it's quite clean. Don't try to fix the sheets, the mattress itself has collected the hair of all the guests over the past six months. The TV is not SMART, we did not find any channels in Russian.
In fact, it used to be decent here, I think. Now the hotel is very, very tired.
+ shops nearby, across the street delicious doner is prepared inexpensively
+ WiFi is quite normal
+ Hot water without complaints
+ a terrace with no view at all. And in general, it's a 3-minute walk to the gorgeous sunset view from the bridge.
+ the room was cleaned a couple of times a week
+ the linen is clean. Towels were changed. There are no bedbugs)
+ contactless check-in (we arrived late and settled quietly)
+ the price tag is below average
+ Istiklal is a 5-minute walk away
- tired room
- if you don't ventilate, it smells like sewage
- there is no sound insulation as a class
- a steep and narrow staircase, which is not suitable for everyone
- in general, the location is a gloomy alley at night. In the daytime, it's fine in principle)
As a result, for your money, okay. It was initially clear to us that in such a budget as ours we would have to make compromises. In general, you can live.
Quite a good place to stay for a couple of days for night walks around Istanbul! And the proximity to the sights is convenient! We were very well received, everything was explained.
