A very cool vacation, the price and quality match, everything is included, the tortillas are delicious with fillings, they are baked by a kind, pleasant woman, asks everyone where they came from and smiles. Once a week there was a belly dance and a perfume merchant. There are karaoke and discos for those who need it. The rooms are cleaned cleanly, the bed is changed in a week, a bow is made from a bedspread, a comfortable pier with sun beds, from where we watched the Perseid streams, the beach is large enough, there is a place to swim, there are fish in the sea: catfish, yellow, white, striped, spotted, you need to take diving glasses, they eat at the pier the contents of the shells. The beach is peculiar there, which is important, funny seagulls and two cats, resting on sun beds. And the pomegranate is also growing. Across the street from the hotel there is a supermarket and shops where you can buy natural juices, ice cream, tea and coffee for gifts, the prices are inexpensive.

The most honest objective review of the Sumela garden hotel in Turkey in 2024:
1. Territory: other reviews write about the excellent location of the hotel and this does not contradict reality, there is no need to go to the sea, the beach is on site, there is a bar with soft drinks nearby. The airport is not far away, there is nothing in the village, only hotels and shops of shopkeepers.
2. Beach: the hotel has its own small-pebble beach, but there are also stones. There are sun beds (cheap plastic ones without a mattress), a common canopy, there is a pier, but very scary and old. The bathhouse gives out old beach towels (it is better to have your own, because they are given out only in the morning at a certain time).
3. The sea: in July it was very warm, clean, but sometimes garbage sailed in large quantities.
4. Rooms and hotel: the Large room is normal in size, the rooms were renovated, the furniture is quite fresh, but the bathroom is very damp, smells like a drain, the plumbing is old. The floor is tiled, there is a balcony, but it is unpleasant to sit there, dirty plastic furniture, low iron handrails (it is unsafe for children), the doors to the balcony do not lock. In addition, the balcony is adjacent to a glass partition. They are cleaned every day, but not very thoroughly. Rooms of other categories are very bad, I do not advise you to take them. The common areas in the hotel are very unpleasant, everything is shabby, the shared toilets are old and very dirty, they look ugly, garbage is everywhere, cats roam, they mark everywhere, so it smells. There are dirty dishes in the hallway for several days, with leftovers, which the maids pass by and do not clean. The handrails are sticky, and so are the floors. Everything is kind of untidy, the corners in the stairwell are littered with junk, on which all the same cats sleep.
5. Food. Of course, everyone has their own food preferences, but in this hotel they cook poorly. Salads, olives are sour and stale, the choice is small. They are mainly prepared from semi-finished products: frozen cutlets, French fries and onion rings. It's every day. There are a lot of vegetables, but they are cooked very poorly, everything is sour. The fish is grilled, very dry. The cafe itself is very dirty, the floor, the tables are sticky. The dishes are always wet, they put plates and napkins next to them to wipe them themselves. There is little of it, so they use a disposable one. The chefs are very sloppy and very young (17-18 years old in appearance). Inside the cafe itself, it smells very unpleasant (perhaps from the kitchen), so we were sitting in the heat outside. From 11.30 to 15.00 an elderly woman comes out and bakes tortillas (gozleme) with fillings by the beach, but she does it quite slowly, so it's tedious to stand in a long queue to try them. There are fruits every day: peaches and nectarines are excellent, ripe juicy, watermelon is rare, apricots, apples and plums every day.
6. Swimming pool. It looks pretty round in shape, but it is poorly located, in the heat itself, it is impossible to stay near it during the day, there is no shade, there are few sun beds. Such a large number of guests (the hotel was 100% full), it is clearly not able to accommodate, so I did not want to wallow there, we swam in the sea. During the day, the water gets very hot, it gets hot, it is not cooled. At 18.00, everyone is kicked out of the pool and filled with bleach.
7. Animation. This is a complete failure. Amateur performance in any rural school is better than what these would-be animators tried to portray, one of them is also a native of an unfriendly country, in connection with which he did not treat our compatriots too well, ignored wishes.
8. Bar and drinks. The bar has non-alcoholic sodas, powdered juice, local alcohol as everywhere (beer from a barrel, local white, red and pink bottled wine, tastes sour, but you can drink gin, Turkish vodka and regular). Everything is poured into disposable dishes, they save on everything. The bartenders are young, friendly, and they mix all sorts of cocktails with syrups if desired. There are three coffee machines, the coffee is passable. The bar is open until 22 o'clock. Conveniently located not far from the beach.
9. Staff. Everyone is young and active, but we noticed that the management of the hotel is lame, there is an elderly very unpleasant and rude director who yells at everyone, has many deputies who are useless. Basically, all this management sits most of the time at the table drinking tea and having a snack, while waiters rush around them. After several comments about the dirt on the windows in the entrance area, they tried to wash the windows, but not everything was washed and not clean.
10. Hammam. The hotel has one, and offers massage services. We didn't go. I can't judge the quality, but the bathhouse looks very old, it smells like cigarettes and sewage inside. There was no desire to visit her.
It's up to you to decide whether to go to this hotel, but I'm not going back to it for sure. I gave one star for the proximity to the sea, the second for the room.

We had a rest in August 2023. I really liked it. Perhaps the best vacation for families with children is here.The location of the hotel is excellent, well-maintained beautiful territory, a beautiful and clean swimming pool for children and adults, a varied delicious menu: constantly meat, fish, chicken, vegetables, fruits, sweets, pastries. The bar is free until 23 o'clock. There is a beach , a pier, a lot of sun loungers, towels are provided. The sea is 2 steps away. Friendly staff, especially the cheerful and friendly bartender Ahmed. The animator is a very nice guy. He speaks 3 languages and is constantly engaged in entertainment, especially for children. Perhaps adults did not have enough fun music and evening discos (usually karaoke in the evening, and they take you to Kemer to the disco). Among the disadvantages, I think that room cleaning was not always conscientious. In general, I would really like to come back here again.

0 We stayed at this hotel from 08/14/2024 to 08/11/2024. I'll start from the beginning. We arrived at the hotel after 22.00. We went to the hotel...at the reception, a friend pretended that he did not know Russian...but he gave me the room key right away...no one accompanied us to our room, so we searched for a room on our own for 20 minutes. After unsuccessful attempts to find the number, I went to the reception desk and asked to draw a path to the number on a piece of paper... and aliluya...We found him! At the reception, the guys were not very friendly, they sat sprawled and showed with their whole appearance that they were not interested in us. The room turned out to be on the 1st floor, small. In room 522: TV, refrigerator (2 jars of water), balcony, bathroom (shower cabin) , soap, shower gel, toilet paper, closet in the hallway, hangers, bed in the room (comfortable pillows and mattress), two bedside tables, mirrors, balcony. Air conditioning (temperature is adjustable). The room is not bad, you don't need more. Then we went to ask where we could have coffee (the coffee machine was not working) and without receiving an answer we went to the village...we bought a bottle of water and went to relax in the room. In the morning we woke up and went to breakfast (7.30 opening). For breakfast, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, buns, porridge, sheep's milk, cheese, honey, etc. fruits and sweet waffles, cookies...tea, coffee, juices. For lunch, soups (delicious), fish, chicken, cutlets, potatoes, vegetables, fruits, sweets : cakes and pastries. In general, there was enough food and we did not go hungry. The staff is very friendly and hardworking, they always smiled and if there was any problem, they solved it instantly. The beach is great! Sandy and pebbly. It was possible to enter the sea from the pier, as well as from the shore. We preferred to enter the sea from the pier. The sea is awesome! There are also sun beds on the pier. Sun beds are usually occupied in the morning (before breakfast). Bar: beer, juices and all sorts of other alcoholic beverages. Everything was poured into paper cups...and tea and coffee... in the restaurant and in the bar...which was not very comfortable for us... and unclear. Animation- everything is sad. Animator Dmitry is uninitiative, he does not know how to talk to people...I'd say he's just lazy. Someone felt sorry for him...I can't feel sorry for people who don't even try to do something. Why they keep him in this hotel is not clear. It was boring in the evening. The music wasn't great either. It feels like when the owner of the hotel appeared...Dima began to pretend that he was doing something. Conclusion: if YOU have chosen this hotel and you do not need entertainment..take normal cups with you...you can buy alcohol at the market or go to Kemer... the food was edible, the fruits were delicious and of course the Turkish delicious cakes. The staff (with the exception of the reception) is kind and hardworking! Well done!

We had a rest in August 2023.
The rooms are clean, everything worked fine. At first they settled on the ground floor, but we asked for a beautiful view. As a result, they moved to the third one with a balcony for 10 bucks. There was always enough food, and fish, and meat, and fruits/vegetables. We didn't go hungry, everything is fresh. The local cocktails and wines are terrible, the beer is normal)
The staff is quite polite. The hotel has its own pebble beach and pier, from which it is convenient to go into the water, there are a lot of sun beds, towels are provided.
Animation, of course, is poor, but the animator tries) invites everyone to aerobics, dancing and karaoke)
The only thing is that during the rest we heard several times from vacationers that they were stealing from the rooms. So be careful with cash and valuables.
There is a bus stop near the hotel, you can get to Antalya for a walk.
For a relaxing seal holiday, swimming and walking is fine) for party goers and children, it will probably be a little boring.
Overall, we liked the hotel.

We rested here from 8.08 to 08/17/2023. I'll start with the advantages, since there are fewer of them:
1) A short distance from the airport, it takes about 40-45 minutes to drive.
2) The first line. The sea is 2 minutes away. There are a lot of sun loungers, we always found a place. The sea is clear. There is a pier. Towels are provided.
3) The territory is beautiful, the view of the mountains.
That's probably all. Now about the cons:
1) The biggest disadvantage is theft!!! During the time that we rested, there were 3-4 cases. They stole from bags in the rooms. Only the Russians. Even the local police came, but it was no use. The hotel staff just threw up their hands and promised to do something. But the next day, everyone forgot. And they pretended that they would remind them of nothing and would not understand either Russian or English.
2) The hotel is tired. Although it was closed in 2022. It's dirty and dusty everywhere, the plates in the dining room are old and not quite clean. The staff cleans poorly and reluctantly, the bartender does not wipe the counter from the word at all. Even the sign was updated. The word hotel has faded(
3)The food is standard for 3. Although there was fish a few times. But everything is very salty and overdue in places. Especially the Brussels sprouts. If you do not come at the beginning of the meal, you may not get something. Of course you won't stay hungry, but you won't get pleasure.
4) Drinks are local as everywhere else. The quality is average. Although they are trying to pour it even worse here.
Only beer is delicious. The bartender has nothing to say.
5) Since the flow from Russia fell, 98% were local. And of course their service is a priority.
6) As I said, the staff is lazy. He doesn't speak Russian or even English. Only on his own. Therefore, it is very difficult to achieve something. On the first day, the front door did not close. They promised to do it before lunch. We come after lunch, everything is as it was. Anyone who wants to come in. I had to go to the reception again and ask to do it. It was done only on the 3rd attempt.
7) Animation. It'll probably do for a threesome. Water aerobics, yoga, darts, water polo. It's daytime. In the evening, karaoke a couple of times, live music, a couple of times, a fire show. The last one is terrible... It's just terrible, terrible.
The music is mostly local, because, again, there are practically no Russians.
For children, a children's disco with the same repertoire and movements every day.
Adults are bored, there is nothing to do.
The bar is open until 23. Then they will even drive from the beach, if only everyone would go to the room.
Total: you can go to this hotel only for the sake of the first line and the sea.
Although you can find 4 for that kind of money on the first line.
In general, I would not recommend this hotel.

The staff knows Russian, but basically does not want to speak it. We were leaving for an early excursion and asked to pack two lunch boxes for us. In the morning, the changed administrator was very surprised and could not give us anything with him, because no one had prepared any lunch box.
Initially, we were moved into a room where the shower was broken and the balcony was not closed. My husband went to sort it out and we were moved to a better room, but the refrigerator cabinet door was broken.
The beach is good, the drinks at the bar are good, the cuisine is simple, but tasty and varied.
In general, it's not bad, but there are no 4*, which the tour operators announced, here.

We are resting at the hotel now. We've been in it several times. The location is great, the sea, the mountains. The territory is well maintained, lots of greenery. The work of the restaurant is excellent. They try to do their best in such a difficult period. Chefs, staff, well done. The room is very nice. I would also like to mention the work of the animators. The girl spends the whole day with the guests of the hotel, exercises, aqua aerobics, children's disco. It is not clear what the male animator does. Drinks coffee all day, sits on the phone. In general, the team tries to make the rest comfortable, thanks to them for that.

I had a rest in early August of the 21st year.
The hotel is far from a 4*, but a solid three. One of the advantages is a nice clean pool and private access to the sea. Everything. The beach with a pier is not equipped. Old plastic sun beds even without mattresses, there are no umbrellas, an awning is stretched instead. It's pretty pathetic.
The disadvantages are the complete lack of animation for adults, for children there is a 20-minute animation with a 10-year-old program. Beach towels are not provided at the hotel (referring to covid), the hammam does not work (the reason is the same), although it was all in neighboring hotels! Internet is charged $ 3 per day for each device. The safe is paid.
But the worst thing is the food. I really didn't expect much and was ready for a modest meal, but I wasn't even ready for that. I'll start with the fact that now you can't put food on your own, there are staff for this. You say what you want and they will give you as much as they see fit. It should be noted that there are no plates indicating the dishes, but no one will ask because they know 2 words in Russian, and they don't even know that in English. In short, it's a whole quest. This is the first time I've seen such filthy breakfasts - only boiled eggs, milk slurry like porridge is unrealistically sweet that it's impossible to eat, terrible sausages, sour milk like yogurt and all sorts of cereals and pads are the cheapest. No pastries, no fruits, no milk. Really decent coffee from the vending machine. For lunch, the assortment is pasta, rice, potatoes - every day in different variations. From meat - 1 day liver, 1 day chicken legs, 1 day fish. Salads, tomatoes. Dinner- pasta, rice, zucchini + stew with rare meat in the form of chicken or turkey. Watermelon + melon, but not always. Desserts are not edible. Basically something like semolina pudding of different colors under chemical creams. Disgusting. Well, porridges in the morning that were not finished were added to them with coconut chips and dye and turned out to be a kind of dessert, I would like to say separately about the staff of the dining room, because you can not call this room a restaurant because of the always dirty tablecloths, dishes with chips and poorly washed appliances and glasses. Boys aged 17-20 worked. Of course, I understand everything, it's very hot outside, but it's just a kick. They stink so much afterwards that they knock you off your feet! It stinks like a stable! Apparently they don't wash their uniforms at all. Appetite is completely discouraged.
Guys, please choose another hotel in this price category. I strongly do not recommend it. It seems like you can live, but all these factors pretty much spoil the mood.
And yes, there is nowhere to buy something decent to eat. There are only hotels and shops with spices, sweets and all sorts of crap outside the territory. It's very boring.

A normal hotel in its price category. The perfect location for a relaxing holiday (especially for Turkey). The sea and mountains are within walking distance. The nature is amazing. Before that, I had a vacation in other regions of Turkey. The service is better in Goodichmeler (Marmaris region), but the price in 3 stars (the location is the same) is 40 thousand more expensive. They did not ask us for money, they settled on the 1st floor, they could change it the next day, but everything suited us For the first two days, we were absent, and then it was very tasty and different every day. The food is not very good for children... Always fresh vegetables and herbs, cottage cheese and cheese taste homemade in abundance. No one looks into their mouths, as in hotels in Alan and. Evening events are weak, but we were not interested in it. A good budget vacation.

The hotel is a good three!Who goes to enjoy the sea and the sun-this is for you. Basically, I was satisfied with everything. Except for the piggishness of vacationers! For those who are just going here and looking for reviews: do not believe all sorts of horror stories. You won't stay hungry, the beer is normal, Baileys is also nothing, cocktails are nothing. But I wasn't interested in drinking either. There is an announcement in the bar-a glass in hand, so, apparently, there are no drunks)))). They did not require money, they cleaned on demand. Room 727, an old repair, but everything was fine with us, there is no mold. The staff is friendly. For those "three kopecks" that were given for the ticket, we had a great rest. I recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel from the end of August to September 6, everything seems to be fine, But there is one "but" that spoils everything. This is the animator Abdullah, he alone works with both children and adults. We were shocked when this animator, working with children, swore obscenities, and it was constant. And working with adults , vacationers were not shy in their expressions . We will not go to this hotel again. And it does not pull from 4 stars, so the average C grade.

A dirty hotel.There is dirt and empty bottles in the corridors. The food is the same. Do not pour tea after 10 pm. There is no entertainment or animation in the hotel. At 10 p.m., the lights on the territory are turned off and the bar is closed. People go to discos in nearby hotels.. The only advantage is the proximity to the sea.They ate 20 bucks for the placement.
