The hotel is clean and cozy. the pool was warm, we were almost alone, so the whole guest house was at our disposal. The hosts are friendly. Cleaning on demand. The room has everything you need, TV, refrigerator, hair dryer. There is a kitchen, on request. The only remark is the ascent to the house. I recommend it!
We booked the hotel in advance in April for August. On the phone, the owner Eduard immediately disposes to communication, explained everything in an accessible way, told me. I am glad that we chose old Gagra, there is no such amount of greenery and palm trees anywhere else! The photos of the hotel coincide with reality, the awesome clean pool, it glows beautifully in the evening. We lived on the 4th floor (the advantage is that there is access to the balcony from the bath, the room is well ventilated). The room has everything you need, good air conditioning, hairdryer,toiletries, kettle,refrigerator. The entrance to the rooms is from a shared balcony, each has its own table with chairs, where it is pleasant to spend evenings. The view is just awesome! The girl Linda cleaned the rooms cleanly, changed the linen and wiped the floor on request, thank you! An undoubted plus is that you can order food, they cook right at the hotel, the choice is small, but everything you need to eat! Marina is always in touch 24/7, she helped with any questions! Thank you for the always delicious and fresh soup! I would like to say a special thank you to Susanna! When our child needed the help of a doctor, she went with us to the hospital at night, thank you from the bottom of my heart! The hotel is surrounded by greenery, beautiful flowers and palm trees, a waterfall. In general, we liked everything, it was a little hard to climb, since the hotel is located on a mountain, but nothing, physical education)

I would like to share my experience of living in this guest house, unfortunately not the most pleasant! We booked a room in advance, polite Eduard was in touch, we discussed everything, we settled our parents there, we stayed elsewhere (unfortunately for the parents there was no free room in our hotel) in advance, so that there would be no problems, I clarified whether my family and I could come to our parents, which was approved They said that you can even eat in their dining room, such hospitality was very pleasant.
And then the X-day came, we came to them just before departure, only once to bring medicines, my parents fell ill, went up to the second floor, ran into Marina, the owner of their home, and immediately heard that visits were prohibited, we were shown the exit, I tried to explain that her husband Eduard told us exactly the opposite information, but she was absolutely indifferent, it was very unpleasant, especially in front of the children and parents, we were literally kicked out! The mood was ruined! Apparently, she does not communicate with her husband about the rules of the hotel, each of them has their own rules and such arbitrariness occurs, I wrote to Eduard after the incident in order to hear some explanations and apologies, but silence in response! There was no trace of his politeness and hospitality!
I really regret that the choice fell on their hotel! The problems began with the very check-in, it turns out that the parents forgot about the reservation there and were at a loss that they had arrived.
My parents ate there three times and each time it was not tasty, porridge without butter, soup with water, well, just disappointment on disappointment, my soul hurts that such conditions fell out for them, we most likely do not know everything and parents spare our nerves did not tell us about the rest. Now I understand that the negative reviews were not written from scratch, Abkhazia is a beautiful country, but unfortunately, often with the lack of any level of service and respect for those who came to visit it!

I have been vacationing with my family for 2 years in a row, for the view from the terrace alone, you can ignore all the small inconveniences, such as a flight of stairs, it is a little uncomfortable with suitcases, but you can always talk with the owners and ask for help if it is very difficult for someone. The territory of the hotel is beautifully decorated, well maintained, everything blooms and smells beautifully. The pool, with clear mountain water, we liked to swim in it at the beginning of the season when it was still cool, but for those who are warmer, it heats up quickly. The food is cooked at home, the prices are reasonable, the food is delicious. For the first time, I visited Abkhazia with two adult daughters.we had a rest from August 6-18 And only positive impressions . We enjoyed the nature , the clean sea and of course the views , including the views from our hotel . We lived on the second floor of the hotel and already from the second floor there is a view of the mountains and the sea! Super! There is always a swimming pool with clean water nearby! The hotel itself is made in antique style, not usual..well-groomed, surrounded by greenery territory. There is even an observation deck on the top floor.The room is clean, air conditioning , shower and toilet in the room, standard.,parking.It's not even 5 minutes to the sea, but, as it seemed to us, three. To the center 17 min walk (colonnade....)Access to the sea through the nearest hotel Nart, passage is free. On the beach next to the vacationers from the Sled, there is a lot of free space and almost deserted, compared to Novaya Gagra, where there are significantly more vacationers on the beaches. There is a buffet restaurant in Nart if desired. But in our hotel you can also eat, very tasty and a large selection of dishes, (prices are reasonable) you can order from a very nice and friendly Alyona. Many thanks to Eduard, a very tactful and polite person, he picked up a room for us, on the days we needed!And of course the hostess of the hotel Susanna , very good - natured and caring . A good place to stay in Gagra. A small pool, rods, a beautiful view, interesting design solutions. An attentive hostess who solves all questions and an amazing cook - Alyona. The food is organized very conveniently, you order when it's convenient for you and what you want to eat. And most importantly, it's delicious. A morning walk before breakfast to the beach of the Chelyuskintsev boarding house with a swim, shower and a slow walk back takes 40-50 minutes. There is an interesting bonus - the roof of the hotel. There you can arrange a romantic dinner with a gorgeous view. Unfortunately, there are many things that need to be changed urgently. In the age of the Internet, neglecting the little things in pursuit of a momentary benefit can quickly lose customers. As Harvey McKay said, "The little things don't play a decisive role. They define everything." In hotels, only three of the four floors have views, and the first rests on the roof. A person should know about this before arrival, otherwise it spoils the first impression. You can come up with a bonus in the form of a bottle of wine in the refrigerator for the first floor, for example. In the second room on the 1st floor, one mattress must be thrown out urgently. The handles on the windows should not fall out. Plumbing should not leak. A separate topic is underwear! Do not skimp on linen!!! It should be clean and ironed. There should be a sheet and a duvet cover and a blanket and a bedspread! At least two sheets. This is a hotel, not a room at my grandfather's in Khrushchev. And most importantly, the linen should be changed every 4 days, at least! And for this, there must be a place where it can be washed, dried, ironed. There is no such place and there is no employee who will do it. It's the same story with room cleaning. It should be done every 3 days at least. I will say separately about holidays in Abkhazia. Unfortunately Abkhazia is no longer the same! That's why there aren't many people. A few things that shocked me. I buy 0.5 aged chacha in an oak barrel from my grandfather at the market in Gagra, and in the room I understand that this is a bad diluted alcohol with tea garbage at the bottom! We are going to the waterfalls, where hundreds of tourists go every day for 2 tr., but we cannot approach the waterfall, because the old boards of the improvised bridge have rotted. To the question: "What prevents you from doing?", they answer: "Not sugar, you won't melt"! The quality of food in restaurants is also not very good, and the prices bite. There is a high probability of catching rotovirus either at sea or in beach cafes. More border crossing! One thing has remained unchanged - the amazing nature of Abkhazia!
A beautiful, cozy guest house. We stayed as a family three times, each time we were satisfied. Impressive view from the balcony, delicious cuisine (thanks to Alena for breakfast, lunch and dinner), hospitable and friendly hostess Susanna creates all conditions for relaxation. We recommend this hotel for vacationers in Gagra.
It was the first time we were in this hotel. To say that we are impressed is not to say anything. The service is poor, the room is not washed from the very arrival. The dining room does not cook for four people .there is no heated swimming pool in fact from the sun. We got to the hotel quickly. The place itself is beautiful , but uphill .
The sea is nearby, one of the advantages is to be in staraya Gagra, where the beaches are very cool and not crowded. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the sea. There is a railway line nearby . The view from the hotel to the sea is gorgeous. There are cockerels in the neighborhood and every morning you will be pleasantly woken up. The renovation of the autumn hotel is beautiful , as is the hotel itself .
The pool is clean, the children really like it.
The owner got through immediately and booked . They were waiting for us upon arrival .
The only Drawbacks for us were these:
MATTRESSES!!! This is something - springs are right in the backs , it is not possible to sleep on such . Pillows are a nightmare before and only ( natural , they smell very old and loud from synthetics ), the bed linen is clean , but like my grandmother 's in the village .
There has never been a cleaning in 10 days, the towel and bed linen have also not been changed for 10 days.
There are beautiful fountains on site, but all are turned off.
I would like them to work . Such beauty does not work.They are not allowed to turn off anything in the pool due to the fact that repairs will be expensive due to wear and tear .

Definitely minus five stars! Being in like in Shanghai, the stairs to the top are like a fire escape (steep and slippery through other hotels with children with a stroller is not an option at all ) . Everything is fine in the photo, in reality it sucks completely. They said a heated pool, in reality it is not included, they said there is a kitchen, in reality only if the hostess Rosa lets you in there, Rosa is a separate instance! He follows you everywhere ! Rude, not hospitable, ! This is the most affectionate thing to say about her! We made an advance payment for earlier, when we arrived with the children, it immediately became clear that we would not stay. We left the children in the room (we rented two rooms, we didn't go to one at all) and went to look for housing. Two hours later we arrived for our things, asked for a refund for at least one room. So this greedy woman said that we still owe her! He says how much conscience will allow you to do so much and give it back in 10 days! Of course, the money was not returned. I don't recommend going there. Korshikoff sucks!!!
