Nice hotel. Excellent location (3 min.to the metro and tram stop).
Cleaning every day (towels were changed, vacuum cleaner or), there is shampoo, shower gel in dispensers, slippers. The breakfasts are good, you will not stay hungry (boiled eggs, omelet, soup, 2 types of sausage, 3 types of cheese, salads, hot sausages/ fried sausage, French fries/ stews or stewed vegetables always, cereals/ balls with milk, jam 3 types, chocolate paste, 2 types of yogurt and always fresh bread).
Cons: sound insulation (I took one star off), the feeling that some people walk around your room all the time. We were accommodated in room 212 on the 2nd floor, and the view from the window was terrible, it was even scary that someone would come through the visor to our window.
The hotel is good, justifies its 3 *. The old one, of course, has been living for a long time))
Classic Turkish breakfasts, normal
The staff is friendly.
The economy rooms (3rd floor) have towels and slippers. There are no bathrobes (although it was stated in the description), there are no soap accessories.
Purely on 3+.
The room was cleaned every day.
The terrace has a great view of the Marmara Sea. Cool.
The hotel's location is a 5-minute walk from the Vesnegiler Metro Station and Laleli University metrobus stop.
The main attractions are 20 minutes away on foot in all directions.
It's a nice hotel, in a fairly quiet area (but in the courtyard a couple of times the neighboring hotel organized a night disco on the roof - the rooms facing the street are probably even quieter, since there are clothing boutiques that don't close so late).
Helpful, attentive staff. Towels were changed every day, plumbing is fully functional, air conditioning for cold and heat, the mattress is not sagging, the bed is wide.
Full breakfasts with soups, hot omelets, eggs, some kind of nuggets, potatoes, sausages, fruits, salads, cheeses, herbs are more than enough to go for a walk deep into the middle of the day without thinking about food.
If you really find fault, hangers for outdoor jackets at the entrance would not be superfluous...
I liked everything, the breakfast was good.
The rooms were clean.
Thanks to the staff of Gulbahar and Maya
The location of the hotel is close to the tram line. A quiet, family-run hotel
Excellent location - near the metro, attractions, shops, cafes. The breakfast was without frills, but tasty, satisfying, and helped us out a lot. The atmosphere is friendly, the staff is always ready to help. There is a Russian-speaking girl at the reception, very nice. There is a pool on the roof, it was no longer working in October, but there is such a gorgeous view! Cleaning every day, changing towels too, although tips were not always left. The plumbing is impeccable. Upon check-in, a bottle of water in the room, tea bags, are not refilled. Overall impression: a great place for those who came to see Istanbul.
Clean, good hotel, delicious breakfasts, beautiful rooftop view with a swimming pool, located in the center, near the metro, easy access to many attractions.
The location of the hotel is convenient, everything is within walking distance (at least we tried to walk!). The staff is friendly, the breakfasts are good! There is a large playground upstairs, a great view of the city. It's a pity the pool wasn't filled (we were in early April).
The hotel is not bad, the breakfast is average, but the location is excellent and the metro and tram are nearby, shops are within walking distance and the main thing is that there is a rooftop pool and sun beds a pleasant bonus to the hotel! Rating 4 since the furniture is falling apart and the repairs are so-so! But in the end, if you're flying to Istanbul, all you need is a clean white bed and a shower, it's all there)
We stayed at this hotel 3 times, in winter the floor of the hotel is empty, they occupy the floors. There are a lot of people in the summer, it's unpleasant to swim in the pool, because the water does not change, it seems to me quite like jelly, the walls are dirty. In June 2023 it was clean
, in July 2024 it was tin.The breakfasts are normal, there are fruits too.We always book rooms with a table, it's 401,501, by the elevator. They wanted to move us into 514, like, without a window, horror, replaced without question. It would not hurt to repair and clean the pool.
We checked in earlier, around 10 a.m. already. The area is touristic, there are many places of interest, the metro is three minutes away. Wholesalers come here and choose this hotel for convenience.
The room was dusty, that is, if you wipe it with a napkin, then a layer of dirt remains. It was tolerable for one night. Breakfast was included.
There is a terrace on the 5th floor, the view is very beautiful, you can admire and drink tea. The pool is also open in summer.
The hotel is for 2+ or 3-
Good rooms only on the 1st floor, they are Deluxe. But even there, the towels look like they're 100 years old... For 4 nights, the linen has not been changed once. You won't stay hungry tomorrow, but it's very poor. The location of the hotel is quite convenient.
The location is excellent, within walking distance of tourist places, the area is quiet. That's where the advantages end. The rooms are small, the room stock is old, the furniture is old. On the day of check-in, the room was dirty, dust was on the table, bedside table, on the dishes. They were removed at the request. Dirty bed linen is lying in a bag near the elevator. The bed linen is old, the towels are old. The water was put on once, they don't give it anymore. The staff is unfriendly and completely indifferent. The breakfasts are monotonous. A full cook is talking loudly to the staff for the whole hall. The staff sits down at the tables and eats. The high chairs are littered with boxes of sugar.
We were at the hotel in early June.
Of the advantages:
The view from the roof is beautiful.
The hotel is located in a fairly convenient location.
The food is delicious, but it's the same every day.
Of the cons:
On the first day of check-in, before leaving, they asked to bring pillowcases. The pillowcases were brought in and at the same time the iPhone wire was stolen from the suitcase!!
They pretended that they did not understand us when they complained at the reception.
I wish you to be vigilant.
A great hotel for your money, we didn't even think it would be so good)
The staff is wonderful, everything was cleaned quickly.
Yes, there are flaws in the furniture, it's not critical at all)
The hotel is not expensive, but the attitude is so-so, they clean badly, they can leave a dirty towel after previous visitors, they didn't even pour soap into the dispenser for a week, it got ridiculous - the cleaner ate the chips left behind. The breakfasts are terrible, they can put expired products, there was sour yogurt and salad
It's a good place! It justifies itself completely for its money. The breakfasts are at the highest level. Close location to the Suleymaniye Mosque, cafes and restaurants.
The room is ordinary, but I would like to mention the rooftop pool and a relaxation area. It is located near the attractions.

I lived here for 2 nights (03/14/2012 - 03/16/12). The hotel is normal. Not good and not bad. The choice at breakfast is small compared to other hotels.. although the food is delicious. The location is convenient. The room itself is clean, but small, with old furniture, cold. I personally feel uncomfortable living with the air conditioner on all the time.. the air is getting very dry. And Wi-Fi loads poorly. But I liked the staff - everyone is polite! :) They speak Russian. In general, if you are looking for a simple inexpensive hotel for an overnight stay, then this is the perfect time! ;)
In general, I will write this way, who will stop here for the first time in Istanbul, it is located in the very center you will have everything at hand and even the metro 1 min walk. The street is quiet, you will sleep peacefully, but the hotel itself is a solid three.
A good hotel, the only negative is a bad view from the window, on the wall of the neighboring building. The room on the second floor looks directly at the windows of the cafe where visitors are sitting.
There were three-course breakfasts in February 2022, well, only one day was paid for. The hotel was renovated and our room was changed 2 times, but everything was very polite. The location is good, the sights are 15-20 minutes away on foot. Cafes are not far away and they cook delicious
A normal hotel for ***, the biggest disadvantage is the slow Internet, and sometimes its complete absence. Towels and cleaning every day, breakfasts are normal, we ate enough, they speak Russian at the reception. On the roof there is a great view of the city, + pool + bar. In general, a normal hotel for your money, but its main advantage is that it is in the center of the historical city, near the metro and tram, all the house attractions are within walking distance. I advise.
