My stay at the Ayasofya Hotel was truly wonderful! The location is excellent, within walking distance to historic sites. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. It’s an ideal spot to explore Istanbul. Highly recommended! We had a quiet cozy stay in the center.

A great city hotel close to the sights of the old town. The rooms are quite comfortable. The main thing in this hotel is a very attentive staff who tries to solve all your issues from currency exchange and luggage to preparing an individual breakfast dish for both adults and children. There is a good playground very close to the hotel.

This is a great hotel. But I say right away, don't try to find it yourself if it's your first time. It is better to book a transfer. Then it's the norm, next to the trams, the Blue Mosque, and Sultanahmet. The first impression is a meeting, the Russian-speaking receptionists. They will welcome you very warmly and show you everything. They will pour tea or coffee. The rooms are very clean, everything is new, every day the cleaning service asks what is needed. And the breakfasts there are just a bomb, and the man there speaks a little Russian. Therefore, you will be understood, we never dreamed of such a thing. Coffee is served at your request. You take the rest yourself. The receptionist is a woman, I don't remember her name, she's a curly-haired girl. Well, she's so emotional and warm. I will come back to this hotel again and again. The surroundings of the Hotel are very cool. And the restaurant is nearby, perfect. There's a Russian-speaking waiter there. And if you are from the Ayasofya hotel, coffee will be served for free (it is expensive in the restaurant)..

We stopped at the hotel on May 10, 2024. Everything looked nice and stylish in the photo. The entrance and reception are quite decent, questions began to appear immediately after entering the room. We were greeted by the smell of dampness and mustiness. As it turned out later, it was because of a leaking ceiling. We decided to ventilate, but even here everything was not in the best condition. Cracked paint, a crack in the glass and a window opening somehow.
It didn't end there, broken furniture (wardrobe and bedside tables), a sliding skirting board, a leaking toilet drain, a bare wire from a TV ripped out of the wall, ants and cockroaches! The staff ignored our requests to move to another room and did nothing. Nobody did anything! Complete indifference to the guests in our person!

Overall, the hotel is not bad: comfortable beds, friendly Russian-speaking administrators and cleaners who are ready to help. But there are a few buts. The first is the lack of heating. We rested in winter, outside + 7, and the split system in the room did not take out the heating of the entire room. The second is a shower. The bathing place itself is not fenced off from the rest of the bathroom in any way, i.e. when taking a shower, water pours onto the toilet, toilet paper in front of it, your clothes and towels on a hook. Draining the shower takes water reluctantly - at the end of bathing, there is a sea in the room.
It's not bad for a budget hotel, but if financially possible, you can find better accommodation.

Nice cozy hotel. Autumn is conveniently located to many attractions. There were problems in the room, the air conditioner was not working, the light was on. Well done, they fixed everything quickly!!!the staff is polite and Russian-speaking.
