The clearest sea is the biggest plus. It was better in the USSR. No service, no resort entertainment. The prices are cosmic, as they are everywhere in Abkhazia.
Bus drivers are like taxi drivers calling for their flights. Don't be scared of them, it's okay)
You can go to popular cities, they go often in the season, they get there quickly. The fare is small, up to 100 rubles to Gagra
We were in August 2023, there was a complete trash and disorganization, back - more or less. Dutifrey - leaves much to be desired. Insurance on the Abkhaz side, -it is better to buy immediately, a SIM card, it is better to take in Abkhazia.
Dear tourists LEAVING Abkhazia. You need the rightmost gates 1a and 1 (only RF numbers are allowed on them). Traffic controllers will send you to any gate, so keep to the right side. We unknowingly got into the third gate and lost 2 hours of time.
A place where nature gives people its beauty, demonstrates its power. There are also traces of efforts to improve this beauty on the part of people. It's just a pity that it's all falling apart now. And little effort is being directed at improving infrastructure.
Neither yours nor ours. And I'm not going to Abkhazia anymore! Prices are high, especially with wine on the highway, be careful, donkey urine is steamed. And that is diluted with juice from the store
The responsive Abkhazian border guards with understanding and goodwill will always help and explain everything that is not clear to you. The passage of the point is two to three minutes and without any biased inspections

Everything is as it was under the Soviet Union, and this legacy remains, although now no one is watching it, everything is being destroyed
Nice quiet place. Anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle is exactly there. I didn't like the sea, it was very cold and there were very few shops.

As in Gagra, as in Sukhum... It is a pity that all the railway stations are still destroyed. So many guests are coming, but at least it can be put in order
The closest station to Russia. In fact, it is an abandoned platform, trains do not stop here, even suburban ones. Is there any commuter traffic here at all? It stands high, both the village and the bridge over the river and the customs point are clearly visible.

It is impossible to evaluate what is not there. Devastation and so on, those who go to Abkhazia to rest, including me, want to spend their holidays in beautiful places normally and certainly not walk through railway stations and look at them. Among all this devastation, there are many places where you can have a great time in the beauty of mountains and rivers, feeling complete silence and tranquility from the hustle and bustle of the city. When going on vacation to Abkhazia, I advise you not to pay attention to everything that is destroyed, just go once to nature in the mountains and you will understand how great it is.
The station where border guards and customs officers check documents. It is a very unnecessary thing when traveling to a resort, but unfortunately you cannot travel by train without it
The border on the Russian side is an ugly Soviet task without working air conditioners. Half of the pass booths are not opened, which is why queues in both directions at any time of the day in the summer stretch for an hour. People are standing without masks and in a stuffy room. From Abkhazia, they only look at the passport for a second, and then they don't really look at it.
The customs officers are friendly. Be careful when leaving the post of the Abkhazian customs - they take it for an oncoming lane - look more closely at the signs and markings.
annoying taxi drivers, parking is chaos. The railway is completely worn out, I have never seen a train pass. The gyms are abandoned after the war. There have been no changes in 27 years. The private sector is barely rising.
Nature, nature. The infrastructure is lame. The sea and the beach are cluttered, there are not as many people as in Sochi. It is better to go from Adler on an excursion one day.
