A hotel in a madrasa is very interesting. Which is good, there is a well-thought-out heating system for both the room and the bathroom, otherwise it would be terribly cold. The walls are thick, so there are problems with cellular communication, but the Wi-Fi is perfect. The hotel honestly deserves its four stars. But you shouldn't take heavy luggage with you - the stairs there are very steep. From the point of view of location, it's great - the entire historical part of Khiva is within walking distance, the most remarkable local minaret is attached.
I really liked the hotel, the cells of the 16th century, you can feel that you are also a madrasa student, a good breakfast, and in the evening you can sit with drinks in the courtyard, the only disadvantage is there is no refrigerator in the room.
