The main issue - the sport watches got missed from our room.
When we discovered that, we came to the reception and was told that in the morning the manager and the IT specialist will come and we will check the cameras.
In the morning the manager refused to check the footage. Started to yell and was behaving absolutely non constructive.
I wrote the claim of reimbursement, the manager prohibited the hostess to have us signed copy and started to threaten us with the police.
We ended up filed a claim to the police. They were nice.
Now the less crucial but unpleasant things.
We paid for a 30sqm room. When we arrived we were settled in the extremely small room where was no space to pass by the bed with no touching the TV. The position of the hostess was that that was the room we paid for and there were no other rooms.
The next morning we pushed and changed a room. There a safe was not working. We changed it one more time.
It is not a 4-star hotel. There is no cleaning, you have to ask about it and nobody told us.
Someone used my perfume, I smelled it throughout the whole room.
The room was about the kitchen and the staff there were having fun listening to loud music.
The construction of a cafe at the ground floor. Often we heard some noise as heavy furniture were moved.
The breakfast lacks variety and the same every day.
Several days it was served as not a buffet but privately and we had no options to choose from.
We stayed for 2 weeks. It was our third stay in the hotel.
The outcome is simple - the hotel got much worse and isn’t worth it.
The location of the hotel is excellent on Orbeliani Square. Polite staff, delicious breakfast. Our room was large (deluxe). One of the disadvantages: there was no towel for face and hands, we asked, but did not bring it. The breakfast coffee is paid (20 GEL), which is strange.
Excellent location: near the Presidential residence, a beautiful park, a stunning historical building. A beautiful shop inside and a pleasant outdoor veranda of the restaurant.
Attentive Sub and attentive Giorgi at the reception desk.
I chose a suite with a balcony and enjoyed it very much. If you book at a non-refundable rate, you can get a pleasant price offer.
Breakfast:
I don't eat bread, sweets, but I was fully satisfied with dairy products, honey, a couple of cheeses and vegetables. You can add a couple more varieties of cheese, it's not difficult, but it creates an abundance on the table and a pleasant impression, And I would add nuts.
There are a couple of questions:
Not an ideal bathroom cleaning before check-in. I didn't point it out, because I discovered it late at night and wanted to sleep. There is a smell from the carpet if you keep the window closed (you have a beautiful parquet floor, you can open it).
I love premium service and details, I consider them important, and therefore I always pay attention to the little things.
