I'll give you 4 for the good location to the beach.
The room corresponds to the star rating of this hotel.
Very friendly guys at the reception. They helped with the safe, which I didn't immediately figure out. We constantly helped with all the questions that interested us. Minus one point for the cafe of this hotel, where I ordered soup, but the taxi arrived ahead of time and I paid for the soup, they told me I could eat it later in the cafe (I thought I would come and they would cook it for me). And it was left in the heat for 5 hours, assembled, and then I had to eat it. That's not how I imagined it. Why give me spoiled soup, especially with milk after 5 hours?
That was the only unpleasant moment.
And once there was a huge cockroach in the bathtub, I'm terribly afraid of them.

The hotel has a very convenient location in a lively place of Karon - near the sea, there are many cafes with a varied evening program, shops. This is the only advantage. The rooms are simple and small, cleaning is on request, but the staff is polite and helpful.

We are currently staying at this hotel. Well, what can I say? I can only tell the truth.
1. The price is unreasonably high.
2. The rooms are sooo tired. But clean.
3. Very important! All standard rooms, odd ones, face a busy street where there is constant traffic and loud music sounds in addition until half past one, until two in the morning. Double windows do not save. The vibration from the music inside the room is very significant.
3. All even-numbered rooms are more expensive and face a courtyard cul-de-sac. But there are single windows. Yes, a little quieter.
4. The rooms themselves are small, two armchairs, a refrigerator, a safe, a table. There are no cupboards. There is a barbell by the door and a pair of hangers.
5. A bathroom with a shower is another quest!
Good: shampoo, soap, shower cap are present, hot water is also hot.
Not very good: when you wash, the shower strengthens so that it gets wet everywhere! Everything is wet at the sink, the toilet paper is getting wet. You need to try to wash carefully so that it does not get wet, or remove it from the bathroom.
The water drains badly from the floor. Small towels are not provided.
You need to ask for a hair dryer at the reception.
6. Beach towels are given out for painting in the morning and handed over in the evening. Necessarily.
7. There are breakfasts. It's not very diverse, but you won't stay hungry. Two types of fruits.

Summary: If not this huge minus with music and an unreasonably high price for a sooo tired and modest hotel, then in general, those who are not picky and sleep well, the hotel will do. I give a review for this hotel. This is the 5th time in Thailand, there is something to compare it with.
So: We arrived together with my wife early at 7 a.m. Since check-in starts at 2 p.m., we left our things at the reception and went to the beach. The exchangers all open from 10 a.m. There are plenty of them, every 50 meters. Almost all of them change rubles, so there is no point in bringing rubles or euros. Do not be lazy, go through several exchangers, find a favorable exchange rate (we changed 1 rub- 0.332 baht). It's even more profitable than buying $in Russia and exchanging it for baht here.
Upon check-in, they take a deposit: either $ 100, 3,000 Baht, or 8000 Rubles.
The room was excellent, 2nd floor, balcony, windows to the courtyard (you can hardly hear the night music from the restaurants). In the room: TV (3 channels in Russian), refrigerator, kettle, glasses and coffee spoons. Every day there is cleaning, towel change, 2 bottles of water, coffee bags, shampoo, toilet paper.
There's a Wi-Fi connection in the room.
One disadvantage is the air conditioner is like a tractor.
Breakfast is a buffet, watermelons and pineapples are served from fruits, Take as many as you want. During the day, you can eat at the same restaurant, which is on the ground floor of the same hotel.
The beach is 5 minutes away.

We had a vacation in January 2025 . There were no special expectations for the hotel and the service , as we studied the reviews . There is no hotel territory at all . The sea is a 5-minute walk away. Everything you need is nearby.Across the street is 7/11. That's where the advantages end. I read that money was stolen from someone 's safe . We did not leave the money in the safe, but the staff of this hotel and not only the money are ready to take it with them: we lost food and personal belongings throughout the rest .(even the local doshirak was stolen). No one at the reception wanted to solve the situation . The unpleasant aftertaste of staying at this hotel remained. If there is still a choice, then it is better not to consider this hotel. I don't recommend it.

The biggest and fattest disadvantage of this hotel is the sounds from the street. If you get a room with windows facing the road, it's a guard, goodbye to sleep until 2 a.m., until the bars close, where they sing songs at full volume ... and you have to listen to them, as if you were sitting right at the table below. I had earplugs with me, but even they didn't really help. When booking, I recommend immediately writing comments that windows are needed in the courtyard (ugly, but quiet). The first day it seemed to me that I would fall asleep with any noise if I was tired. After a week, I don't think so anymore, I forgot when I got enough sleep.(In the morning they start making noise in the hallway and talking loudly, so sleep from 2 to 7 maximum)
When checking in, they take a deposit - in rubles, dollars or batakh.
The breakfasts are relatively good, there is no variety, but it is satisfying and edible.
The shower is a separate song , the first impression is just a watering can and there are no partitions , there's a toilet right there , after a couple of days you don't even notice it , it performs its function and that's fine.
The biggest plus is the time to the sea - 2 minutes and voila, the beach is right at hand. It is municipal, sun beds are paid separately - they charged me 200 baht for an umbrella.

And so, the room is an ordinary three, it's not worth waiting for anything special, I'm the kind of traveler who only comes to sleep almost always, so the pillows and mattress really helped me (honestly, I slept like a baby on their pillows, the mattress never let my suffering back down), breakfast is included and quite at the level of the hotel, there is a busy street nearby where you can buy everything! The staff is simply sunny, helpful, friendly, smiling. Towels were changed every day, cleaning daily, towels for the beach were painted. The reception staff is quite sane and speaks Russian/English, so there were no problems with communication. There is a fruit outlet nearby (greetings and a kiss from Christian to Julia's seller), always a little cheaper than everywhere else. The proximity to the beach is even more uplifting. Our windows faced the street, there was never any discomfort. In the mornings , she loved to look at the street coming to life and greet the sun . I'll choose this particular hotel next time.

As they say, it's poor, but clean. The staff is sweet! I am not well versed in the issue of hotels, so I will not be able to give an objective assessment. I personally liked everything. I was flying to rest, and not to pay attention to any shortcomings. The sea is just around the corner. Seven-eleven 7/11 is across the street. The restaurant, bar and fruit stand are right in the hotel. What else do you need? Even in case of a downpour, everything is at hand. Cafes are also within walking distance, as well as massage parlors, pharmacies, other shops, currency exchangers. The location of the hotel is just great! There is one nuance, exactly that nuance. The shower is not separated from the toilet by any partition. Therefore, when using the shower, you can fill the toilet bowl and a roll of toilet paper. I can hear music from the street, but for me it was not critical.
P.S. although the breakfasts are monotonous, but after the spicy local cuisine it is like a breath of fresh air (with all my love for Asian cuisine and spicy). Eggs, sausages or bacon, fruit, salad, juice and coffee. A very hearty breakfast. If you are not satisfied with this, then in the morning right in the restaurant on the edge they (the hotel staff) sell breakfasts for locals for 60 baht. There are two variations of the local breakfast in yellow enameled plates. The first option is broth, rice, meat. The second option is rice, greens, meat. I've tried both. Worthy. As a substitute for a hotel breakfast is an excellent option.

The hotel does not have any territory or even its own cafe. The lobby is 1 sofa in front of the reception and two tables on the street. It is combined with a restaurant, but you can't even use a glass for free. The rooms are dilapidated, the furniture is burnt through. There is no balcony, no way to dry things. There is not even a hair dryer. The subway is very noisy and unregulated. If the linen or towel gets dirty, you will be charged a fine. In the shower, the water just pours onto the floor, then flows away very slowly, but for a few hours the floor will be a big puddle and there is simply nothing to clean it yourself. By the way, there is no toilet brush either.. In short, sleep for a couple of nights at most and that's it.

The location of the hotel is on a busy street, opposite the 7eleven store (like our magnet, pyaterochka). It has everything for food, including a local burger will be heated from the refrigerator and a milkshake will be served at the checkout. The average check per person is from 400 rubles (standard lunch sausage / bacon, omelet /
eggs, vegetables, garlic bread / toast, coffee tea) to 1500 rubles (lobster, salad, French fries, rice, beer, juice) per person.
You can choose different seafood (shark, stingray, lobster, crab, shrimp, etc.) for cooking. Music can be heard in the room until 2.00 am (not much, but the words can be made out). It didn't bother us much to sleep, because we were exhausted during the day and came to the room closer to 0.00, drank tea, washed and bai. Our room was on the 2nd floor on the garden, you can pick a banana from the window (3 meters walk on the visor). The double-glazed unit is single (if it were double, then there would be silence at night), as on balconies in the Russian Federation sliding aluminum frames. Those who had rooms on the road, did not complain about the noise from the bars, now they have made additional glazing (it turned out a mini balcony (20-30cm), which you can not go out there is no door. Everything is delicious and enough. I noticed that some guests don't use sauces/spices/seasonings, and then they say it's not delicious. This is so, it's just rice is not very tasty, but it's worth adding a special sauce (the main thing is not to overdo it) and it's not rice anymore, but a delicious dish. All the food for breakfast is not spicy, not too salty. That's what you need. The beach is about 300-400 meters away (3 min. walk). The beach is smooth, beautiful, palm trees, greenery, fine light sand (like in an hourglass). The sand crunches under your feet, if you want to kick the sand with your foot, it makes unusual sounds. The entry into the sea is convenient, there was almost no wave. Nearby rental of parachutes from a boat, banana, etc.

We stayed at this hotel from February 3 to February 13, 2024. The opinion is twofold. Two buildings of 4 floors each, looking like a dorm, without balconies and territory. But we don't need that, we only spent the night and had breakfast at the hotel. .
In the room: a safe, a refrigerator, some furniture, two beds, a kettle and two glasses (coffee and mugs were brought to us on the last day), toilet accessories, a shower - watering can on the wall, a hole in the floor. Cleaning every day (wash the floor, make the bed). 2 bottles of water were left every day.
They write that the repair was in 2022. well, how is the repair, greased and tinted in some places and everything looks fine. The breakfasts are decent (sausages, ham, rustic potatoes, eggs / omelette, pasta / noodles / rice with or without meat, different soups, vegetables, herbs, watermelon and pineapple fruits, 3 types of juices, milk, cereals, tea, coffee, sweets only jam of 2 types.
The hotel is located on the main street, opposite the entrance of the shop "7", 5 minutes to the sea, "singing sand" underfoot, the beach is good, if you walk to the right to the stones, you can snorkel, for comparison we visited Katu beach, did not like it at all, Karon is better!
By the way, the cheapest fruits and food from makashnits are near the hotel. there is an evening market nearby (open 2 times a week).
Everything seems to be fine, BUT... if the room is on the odd side (as we had), then it will be possible to fall asleep only after one o'clock in the morning, because the music from the cafe screams so that even double windows do not save. This is a HUGE disadvantage.
At the reception, Alenka did not help us for any chocolates.

One of the advantages is the location. Five minutes by the sea, near fruits, cafes, supermarkets. But the service of this hotel is completely zero. The room is very dirty. We live for a week - towels are changed only if you put them on the floor and money is nearby. There is no hair dryer, but there is a kettle. Beach towels are provided at 10 a.m. sharp and in limited quantities. So there's a battle for them. Cleaning is a separate song - they wiped the middle of the floor and took away the garbage. The plumbing is not touched. The bed hasn't been changed in a week yet. The curtains on the windows are just curtains. Although there is no point in approaching the window. There's a metal roof down there, and that's lucky for us. We are on the 3rd floor. The bathroom is a horror. There has been no repair for centuries. A shower without a hose and a hole in the floor. But thank God everything is fine with the water. It's a big problem to dry the laundry. If it's a problem with children at all. There's just nowhere! The breakfasts are tolerable. Eggs, sausages, sometimes rice or pasta, some vegetables, watermelon and pineapple. Everything is fresh and you won't leave hungry. In general, this is the first time in my life in such a hotel…
And one more thing: don't try to eat at the restaurant downstairs. It's not tasty and expensive.
But even this hotel will not be able to spoil your delight in this country. Let it be dirty and stinking on the street and impossible to cross the road. But there are wonderful kind people here, the best sea and fruits in the world!

A very simple hotel. Literally a flophouse. Cleanly. That's all for comfort. The air conditioner in my room worked more like a fan. Many neighbors, and there are a lot of Russian neighbors, had the same thing. There are no balconies. And there is no place to dry swimming trunks/towels. An interesting solution with a shower/toilet. Our eyes break a little from this. The toilet is practically located under the shower. All without partitions. We really liked the urban-type hotel. The ideal location on a busy street with lots of cafes, bars, shops, massage parlors, and most importantly, 2 minutes walk to the sea. The rooms are old, but clean and cozy! In addition to the large bed, there is an ottoman, two armchairs with a coffee table. A TV with a couple of Russian channels, a refrigerator, an air conditioner, which is very conveniently located. Cleaning was carried out daily, all necessary toiletries and two bottles of water were provided. The staff is very friendly.
