I stayed at the hotel for one night upon arrival in Gyumri and before traveling to Yerevan.
At first glance, the hotel is pleasant: a good entrance group, pleasant staff who suggested where the nearest currency exchange office is, good repair on the ground floor. I think that's it.
Upon checking into the room, I realized that the hotel was quite tired and old - there was a carpet in the common corridor and in the room itself, along which suitcases with dirty wheels were constantly traveling, and hair, dirty napkins under the bed, and dust everywhere were found in the room itself.
The hotel is connected together with a separate room, which houses a banquet hall, where breakfast is served for hotel visitors.
The breakfast is not bad: there is tea, coffee, rolls, bread, various types of sausages and cheeses and everything else. No frills, but everything is decent.
In general, I recommend this hotel to the maximum if you stay overnight and do not plan to stay in it for a long time.
After all, a dirty carpet with various "gifts" really spoils the overall mood of the hotel, because in my head I constantly think that I need to be in slippers and how not to walk anywhere with my bare feet once again.
I am so happy with my room with the Gumri Olympic hotel, it's gorgeous, but there is a chance it's on the street a big dog it's scary, there is a pharmacy nearby, a stadium, a shop, everything is there. I really liked it
Oh, this is an amazing place near the historical center, great staff, beautiful city and super hotel, very good impression, I will definitely come again 👍👍👍
The main advantage of the hotel is the price. The room is quite pleasant. The view from the window is of a half-abandoned stadium and a doghouse, sometimes it starts barking loudly. From time to time, you can observe a whole pack of stray dogs.
It's a bit far from the center, but you can always order a taxi, it's cheap here, you've never waited more than a couple of minutes.
They don't really know about the service here. When I came to the reception, one of the employees calmly continued to talk on the phone, and I waited. But the funny thing is, when she finished speaking, she stared blankly into space in front of her, as if I had just come to look at her. Until I spoke up, she just sat there in silence.
The other employee, on the contrary, was friendly and tried to solve the problem, but it seems that they had never thought about the typical guest problem before.
The maids are very nice and helpful, but when you call them.
The breakfasts are very funny, don't count on them, but the woman in the dining room is very friendly.
