We had a rest in October. We came here on a honeymoon. An amazing hotel. We were complimented as young people, a delicious cake, a plate of fruit. Our room was gorgeous, with a small living room, a dining table, a huge TV and a bed. Large balcony with 2 tables and 4 chairs. Cleaning is carried out regularly. Tea, coffee, kettle, water bottles, air conditioning-everything is in the room.
Very helpful and friendly staff!
The territory of the hotel is small, but very clean, beautiful and well maintained!
Unobtrusive animation, and show programs that do not yell at the whole of Hurghada, and do not last long, at an acceptable time, which makes this hotel and rest in it calm! This is one of the advantages!
A nice dining room with varied and delicious dishes.
The beach is sandy and clean. The water in the sea is warm and transparent. The entrance to the water is sandy, but there are small pebbles somewhere. You can see a lot of fish right by the shore. If you swim closer to the buoys, then there are small reefs where you can see various types of algae, beautiful fish, sea urchins. The sea is completely calm. The water is calm all day long.
You can also rent a tuk-tuk ride along the road that runs along the coast, several km long, and look at other hotels.
Keep in mind, it was cool from early in the morning and in the evening. Degrees 22-23 with the wind, it seemed cool to us, but not for someone. Take long sleeve sweatshirts with you, just in case.
The only things that confused me were that I had to get up early and run to take a place on the beach. Since at 7:30/8:00 almost all the sun beds located closer to the sea, and, in principle, located on the beach, can be occupied.
And the water in the pool without heating is cold, respectively, and I did not dare to swim there. But, with regard to the pool, maybe we just caught such a time, and in other months or seasons, it warms up.
I rate the hotel at 5 stars, and I really want to return! The rest was amazing, but very fast!

We had a vacation with a friend in February, just returned. I liked everything!!! The location of the hotel, the cleanliness of the rooms, the service, the proximity to the sea!! The food is varied and delicious..and what sweets!!!!! the wind has picked up over the last two days and it was cold after sunset, so you should definitely take your jackets with you - winter))) The room has a sea view, cleaning every day, everything is clean. Heated swimming pool and Jacuzzi. The sea is +22, I also swam, but this is for an amateur)) There was animation every day, well done, and the kids started dancing, and then the adults had something to watch.If you go to Hurghada again, then definitely to this hotel!!!

Friendly staff, delicious food, I really liked the clean coast, but there are a few carals to look at the fish, the rooms are excellent, there are 5 bars on the territory, there is a walking area, children's animation every evening at 20:30, and 21:30 is always different and interesting for everyone. We had a vacation with the children at the end of March 2023.The food is not bad, the pools are clean, there are heated pools.The staff is friendly and helpful, the sea is clean and good, but there is no pier from which you can swim.A big plus is that there is a lot of greenery and a well-maintained territory.There are also snakes on the Terrace, which is already a minus for the Rooms, which are very tired of 5*. The hotel does not pull a solid 4*.If you really want to relax for 5 days or you are planning a trip with children, choose another hotel.

We visited this hotel in November 2024. We really liked it. We arrived early in the morning. For a small surcharge, they settled quickly and with a beautiful view of the sea. They fed me, although they were supposed to start feeding me only from lunch. About the food. There is everything to eat. Constantly steamed fish, vegetables, rice, chicken, beef, seafood. In the morning, porridge, vegetables, pancakes, waffles, fried eggs with vegetables. Just like everywhere else. There is always a choice. Lunch- different soups, meat, fresh and steamed vegetables, a variety of second courses. In the evenings, grilled meat, and again, different food for every taste. The pastries are always fresh, beautifully decorated cakes, Egyptian sweets. Fruits: quince, apples, plums, pears, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit and yellow and orange, melons, bananas. There are a lot of things. The staff cleans the dishes and offers drinks. They help to convey when necessary. They smile and are very attentive to everyone. We tried the wine, we liked it. The hotel is not big, but very cozy. The rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed, and shampoos and gels are supplemented. The hotel itself and the territory are very clean, no one is littering. The guys are constantly working, watching the cleanliness, the plants, the water in the pool. We saw that they were taking water tests. They check it right away. The bars are very responsive bartenders, offering and asking what we want. They make delicious cocktails. We were told that there would be no food on the last day of departure, only breakfast. No. We were fed, and no one told us anything. At this time, in November, the weather is fine, 26-29 degrees. The water is about 24-26 degrees. The sea is clean, there is no garbage on the beach or in the sea. It's windy only. When entering the sea, the water seems cool. But then I don't want to go out. If it wasn't for the wind. But at this time they say that there is always wind. The animation starts working from 10h. On the shore there are bocce, darts, and aqua aerobics in the sea, and they teach oriental dances right there. The animation guys are great. Whoever wants to, finds something to do. Various shows are also held in the evenings. Belly dancing, jugglers, illusionists, musicians, etc. There is a beautiful promenade along the sea. It was very pleasant to walk in the evenings, breathing the sea air, listening to the sound of the sea. In the morning, the guys meet on the beach, look for free places, spread towels on deck chairs. There's plenty of room for everyone. Who is by the pool, who is by the sea - there is a choice. Rescue observers are sitting, watching the swimmers. They are constantly vigilant and whistle if someone swims behind the buoys. In the evenings, the shore is cleaned, and every morning different drawings are drawn on the shore. Tour operators offer various excursions. But we only wanted the sea and rest. This hotel is located in Sahl Hasheesh district. The area is not cheap, so everything in the shops is more expensive than in Hurghada. Souvenirs are better to take in Hurghada. There are various shops in the hotel itself. And oils, and souvenirs, and jewelry. The owner of the oil store, Amir, is a very pleasant and good person. He treated us to tea and coffee. We bought oil from him, we will try it. He told me all about his products. They called our room, asked how we were resting, if everything was okay, if there were any questions. All the staff always greet and smile. On the day of departure, we packed up, and it was necessary to weigh the suitcases so that there would be no overweight. We asked at the reception, but they also have scales, the guys themselves brought our suitcases, weighed them. In general, everything is provided for them. Well done. We really liked it. A good hotel for a calm and measured rest. Spacious room, decent food, great beach. Unobtrusive animation, a wonderful promenade with fountains! Wonderful staff! Two girls- guest relation Katya and Vika - are the Good Fairies of this hotel.They are always ready to help, explain, always friendly and patient. Vika just saved my vacation: when my glasses broke and I couldn't buy ready-made ones, Vika made an order for my broken ones in Hurghada, and a day later I already had wonderful new glasses with the right diopters! Many thanks to Vika! In general, all the hotel staff are friendly, hardworking, hospitable people. Not a single sideways glance, always with a smile - it's very pleasant. We hope to come to this heavenly place again, and to this particular hotel!

Old palace resort
We rested at the Old Palace resort from June 22 to July 2 with my husband and daughter of 5 years. I liked it very much! Thanks to Ekaterina, guest relation, for her excellent customer orientation, kindness and care! Thanks to the chef for the delicious dishes! Thanks to the room cleaning specialist - the perfect job, for the creative figures from the towels of the hotel respect! The hotel is small, but very beautiful. There are many comfortable places to relax in the lobby. The hotel is not new, but they keep it clean and tidy all the time! The rooms are spacious, there was a separate bed for the child. Yes, the repair is not fresh, but nothing fell off, everything worked properly! The sea is calm, the water is clear, azure in color! The beach is clean and big. Sunbeds are occupied in the morning, but you can always find a place on the 2nd and 3rd lines. The entrance is sand, small pebbles and shells come across, but slippers are not needed. The best entrance is opposite the lifeguard tower. We really liked the food. Beautiful serving of dishes, several options to choose from. It was important to me that there were first courses, always 2 types of soups, not just mashed soup. The weather was 38, but because of the dry climate it was not felt. There are mini-discos and evening shows! But not intrusively! Beyond the gap -not here! A vacation for people who want peace, quiet and comfort! We will definitely come back!

The second time here. It was earlier in 2015. The service became better, the food tastier, the room was given a view of the sea and the pool without walking with an employee and trying to sell a more expensive one. We checked in on arrival, at 10 a.m. The swan is turned, a bathrobe and slippers are provided, although this is not included in the BB, cola is brought to the refrigerator. I put 3 stars because the hotel does not match the stated 5 stars. One of the advantages is a quiet, peaceful place. Clean, nice sandy beach, but small. The promenade area is 10 km., you can take an electric car (there are many places for photo locations). The staff is polite. Room cleaning and change of towels every day. What I didn't like. Very "tired" rooms. The pool is small and there is a children's section in it (also next to the bar). The food is delicious, but monotonous. In 9 days, watermelon was given 2 times. Mango never. There is no seafood at all. And all this in a room resembling a dining room. Because we had a late check-out, the extension of the room is $ 10 an hour.

We rested in June 2024, took 8 nights! Expectation-reality is 100% matched, the hotel is very good, there is something to compare it with, we have been to Hurghada many times, this hotel is suitable for a relaxing holiday, polite staff, the food is wonderful even very much! Even without a tip, the main pool is gorgeous, the beach is wonderful, suitable for those who do not like fish, there is animation here but weak, in the evenings there are various entertainments, a karaoke contest, dancing, somewhere from 21 30 to 23 00, there is somewhere to walk. The rooms are tired, but if you don't pay attention to it, then everything will be fine! It was a small thing for us, it's time to change the plumbing, in general, the rooms are very spacious, we liked it! You can check in with pets!
There is everything from alcohol! All kinds of cocktails! The beer is great!!!!! The wine is great too! There are also non-alcoholic cocktails and there are a lot of them too!

A super hotel! A calm, decent, delicious vacation. The room is a little tired, but this is not a bad thing - we came to the sea and not to sit in the room. We had a rest in June 2023. It's my first time in Egypt, but I really liked everything. The staff is very polite and attentive, always smiling on their faces. The territory of the hotel is large and very well maintained, everything is very decent in the restaurant! Pastries, fruits, vegetables are in full abundance! Fish every day, meat dishes and several times there were shrimps and crabs! There is a good pool, the animators are trying their best, they arrange all kinds of entertainment programs. The beach is clean, there was a restriction on the sea, it is not allowed to swim far, but this did not mar the rest in any way. A quiet authentic hotel in the lagoon of Sahl Hasheesh resort. There are no loud evening programs here, but there is one of the best sandy beaches. The food is not premium, but good, you will definitely not be hungry and will not lose weight. There is a heated swimming pool, there is aqua aerobics, alcoholic drinks are enough, not a great option, but it will be drunk. Nearby is a beautiful promenade for several kilometers, if you want to ride a bike, buggy, on foot. Rooms, we do not take the most budget, only updated, the best are family chalets. Renovated, spacious, with a beautiful terrace, there are bathrobes, a kettle, etc. Daily cleaning is excellent.

We stayed at this hotel in July 2023! I liked the hotel, quiet, family friendly! The food was delicious, meat, chicken, fish-everything is there! The staff at the restaurant is very polite and nice, you don't have time to sit down at the table-the waiters immediately come up and ask what we will drink! And they bring it instantly!!! The sea is fenced with buoys, there are no nets! The entrance is flat... the only drawback is that it's a little shallow… but now it's the same in all of Egypt. Crabs crawled on the beach in the morning, fish were in the sea right by the shore, they even saw a stingray! There are no problems with sun beds! The beach is big, there is a large embankment, you can just walk along it or rent an electric car for $ 20 per hour! The girls at the reception-guest relief-are very responsive, they will always solve any problem. When leaving the hotel, even the dry was collected.rations with you on the road. The Internet catches all over the hotel, even in the rooms-which also pleased me.

Certainly not a five, but a solid four. The rooms in the hotel are a little "tired", but they are perfectly clean. They clean efficiently, the staff is well-trained. The service is good, without jokes at check-in, when you are specifically shown a dead room, and you need to "thank" for a good one. The food is without much variety, but there is always meat, chicken, fish. Everything is of high quality. Lots of sweets, fruits. The alcohol is Egyptian. We drank beer, it was given from bottles, and wine. There are few people, without children. If you are going for a relaxing holiday: to sleep, lie down, sunbathe, swim, then this hotel is for you. A nice touch. The check-out from the hotel was at 12, the plane was in the evening, no one took off our bracelets, we had a quiet lunch, sat in the bar, used all the services of the hotel except the room. It's a small thing, but it's nice.

I will not put an A for a very unpleasant situation from the hotel.
We bought a tour in early May ultra all inclusive for the end of the month. We chose specially so that there would be fruits, a mini bar and naturally fresh juices in the room. There is nothing in the room upon arrival, in the morning too! Let's go find out, but they tell us, alas... our system has changed, now you have everything turned on and + 2 visits a la carte, and ultra is now ultra +
I'm sorry, what's the overpayment for? And moreover, there were only 2 power systems on the site at that time. They categorically did not want to solve the issue until our tour operator wrote to the main office to recalculate for all inclusive. As a result, we got an ultra on the fourth day of rest! The crisis reached this hotel and unfortunately we were not alone.
Otherwise, the hotel is not bad, there will be no loud music and discos for a relaxing family holiday. The staff is trying, but it's not about cleaning the room. The food is good, there were no problems. The only caveat is a very hard mattress and pillow (if you have a problem with this, it's better to think about it)

We had a rest in June 2023. Goal: a comfortable family vacation with a child of 3 years old (!)
1. (!) if you and your child (especially) take a taxi from the airport), then I will always take an individual transfer).
In terms of rest, the expectation and reality coincided 99.9.
Minuses:
- it's slippery around the pool if it's wet.
- the bartender (alone) is very selective towards the customers.
- there is no toilet on the beach (at least it would not be bad for kids).
Then I liked everything.. those who count on the European 4-5 should not go to Egypt at all (my personal opinion).
- there is a place to walk: the territory itself is small, but cozy, the promontory along the coast in both directions is endless. There are a couple of shops nearby.
-for an additional fee: electric cars , water cheesecake /boat, etc.
- the pool is large, there is another smaller one.
- from the entertainment of aqua aerobics, belly dancing, something else of that kind.
- the room is very cozy. The furniture is not new, but everything works. There is a balcony. The bed was changed according to the schedule, and so was the towel. At the request, they also change without question. An additional towel was given at the request.
-room cleaning every day, with disinfection.
- the fruit was brought to the room on the second day. This is a small present, but very pleasant (as stated 1p in 7 days).
- there is a safe, it works. There were no precedents.
- wifi. It is available throughout the territory. But as the load (of users) increases, it gets worse. A child can't watch cartoons. We took a SIM card at the airport (10dol) and the Internet was flying great.
kitchen:
- it is impossible not to find something to eat. Side dishes, meat, fish in different variations at the same time. Those who say that the food is not diverse: be able to organize your diet and you will find everything!
-the grill is different every day. I didn't like the seafood (personally), everything else is delicious!
Pe se: there is no porridge of the Russian Federation, there is no soup of the Russian Federation. You have to get used to the locals. Cheese and sausage are not tasty. Feta cheese is magical! My child tried and ate everything. I was delighted with the soups (to my surprise).
+ a wonderful Chef, always on the lookout and ready to help you, especially the children☝🏻). - some of the staff speak Russian, some do not. They explained themselves very well and tried to help us with everything.
- we celebrated our daughter's birthday (3 years old). The staff arranged a performance of the local orchestra, so to speak, cake, candles, flowers-decorations. Special thanks for this celebration!

Bar (several throughout the territory, dads will be happy):
-local alcohol is very acceptable, juices for children are no worse than ours. They did not cause any poisoning or disturbances in the body.
-during the break from breakfast / lunch / dinner, there are snacks sandwiches / ice cream / cookies (according to the schedule, the time is fixed, prescribed).
For children: all the staff is for children, everything is for them and around them (!)
There is a disco in the evening / the songs are the same, they changed about 1 time, but the children are normal /, mine was delighted and a hundred more emotions.
- there is a playground with a spiral, a slide, but this is more for babies.
There is no entertainment for young people (maybe we did not see, because there was no such goal).

We had a rest in July 2024.At first glance, the hotel is not bad.The room is cleaned every day, linen and towels are also changed, although a couple of times only 2 towels were put instead of 4, I had to solve the issue through the reception staff.The food seems to be good, but monotonous: beef, vegetables, chicken.There are very few fruits, in a country where there are about eight varieties of mango, we have not been treated once.Once they gave me a watermelon for dinner.The juices are chemical, diluted with water, and fresh is offered by the waiter for money.There are quite a lot of baklava and sweets, good coffee from the coffee machine.The beach is nice, sandy, there are enough sunbeds.Animation is a separate topic, it doesn't come from the word at all.A few boys and girls dance for a few minutes at the bar and in the evening the kids are having fun, if I may say so.There is nothing for adults except belly dancing and oriental songs.In general, the hotel is a stretch for a four with a minus.I will not recommend it, but we will look for something cooler and more interesting for ourselves.

A great place to relax!
The food is excellent, from early morning to late evening.

We drove over the sea, the sandy beach and the entrance to the sea. It's all great!! But with the desire of tourists to occupy sun loungers, leaving towels and other things overnight, something must be done. There are enough places for everyone, but it's just "enchanting".
The hotel itself, unfortunately, is not 5, but a strong 4. Requires renovation!!
The staff is very friendly and responsive, but sometimes even too intrusive)) One dollar tip quickly calms this urge to impose on "friendship" (hello to the restaurant employee)).
There are no questions about food. We liked everything. It was both varied and delicious. True, the staff did not always have time, especially at lunch, to fulfill requests, but after the conversation!! everything became good)).
Apparently we won't be coming here anymore. The price is too high for the beach and the sea.

Good time of day. I completely forgot about the review, I've been on vacation since May 17, 2024. This is the first time in Hurghada and probably would have been the last if it hadn't been for the Old Palace Resort Sahl Hashesh 5. I immediately want to express my gratitude to the management for working with the staff. The entire staff works like a well-coordinated mechanism. Everyone is friendly and responsive to any tourist from any country. I do not look at the fact that the hotel is not fresh, the hotel is white, beautiful and clean. There are errors in the rooms, not new furniture, but the presence of a good mattress, a huge TV (sometimes I watched the Russian channel in the evening) and a beautiful view from the window, these errors did not annoy me. I'm probably wondering why I didn't like the Hurghada resort, many people will understand me, there is no such beautiful and filled underwater world here. Everything in the hotel is excellent in terms of nutrition, if you are not a gourmet and do not drink champagne with grouse for breakfast. The beach is big, the sun beds and mattresses are comfortable, the guys on the beach will always find a place if you come later. All the staff is very friendly, the rescuers are very responsible, for me, a lover of Egypt, it was very pleasant to watch this. There is Katyusha in the hotel, she is Russian-speaking, she helped with any issue, although they did not arise particularly. Many people missed the disco, animation was enough for me. In conclusion, if you like a calm, measured, high-quality vacation (without show-offs), come to this hotel. I recommend it. And a fly in the ointment, but this is not for the hotel, but for the guides of the Coral Travel travel agency, you have disgusting hotel guides, I will try not to fly through your agency anymore. I almost forgot to mention the guys at the reception, my photo will have the name of the best employee of the hotel, I don't want to write the name incorrectly. Thank you all for a great vacation.

We are resting at the hotel at the moment. We checked in immediately upon arrival. The oriental style is very, very familiar to us. In general, everything is very clean, it is clear that special attention is paid to this. I like the kitchen, there is always a choice, everything is always in abundance. I like that the beach "without leaving the ticket office." It's also clean, they're watching. You come, they help you settle down: they find a free place, they arrange everything for you. During the day, they constantly go through collecting garbage. The beach bar is also working well. At the moment, the sea is clean and very warm. The entrance is shallow, it is safe with children.
There are several pools on site, clean, warm, but we ourselves are more at sea. The rooms have a stable cleaning service. The area of the hotel is calm, for a comfortable stay without "unnecessary hype". If you have any questions, we are always ready to solve them. A new animation has started working. Very nice guys. They organize leisure activities at sea, during the day, and evening shows.
In general, we were satisfied with our choice.

I really liked the hotel. Responsive and courteous staff, all issues are resolved quickly. There is a staff who speaks Russian. The territory is very well maintained. I really liked that the sea is nearby for two minutes and you are by the sea. Very good leisure on the beach for every taste. The bars worked perfectly, you can have a snack at any time, although the main restaurant served excellent food for every taste. I would especially like to mention the desserts, it was delicious. I recommend.

A great hotel , the rooms are tired, but everything is working properly, this is the main thing, we went to the sea, and not to sit in the rooms, and the sea is 100 there!!!!warm, clean, fish swim to the reef in the morning (very interesting specimens). The staff is friendly, pleasant, unobtrusive!!! The food is varied, you will not be hungry, very tasty soft cheeses, ripe fruits, apples, pears, persimmons, melons, citrus fruits👍 Another very pleasant fact: the beach is reinforced by lifeguards, they do not take their eyes off the sea and children, they are not allowed to swim for buoys, and double control for children ... were with a child of three years if he ran away from us to the sea, the rescuer immediately got up from his chair and watched the child. The territory is well-groomed, green, blooming. I didn 't want to leave…

The holiday in Sahl Hasheesh Bay was marred by a very dirty sea. After a small storm, the shore behind the Old Palace hotel looks like a garbage dump, there is a lot of garbage, it is impossible to swim on the territory of the hotel. All vacationers of Sahl Hasheesh Bay hotels like to walk along the coastline. In order not to walk through the garbage, we collected it in bags on our own. Imagine our surprise when we saw that the employees of the rental of water equipment loaded bags of collected garbage into the boat and took it back to the sea. The pollution of Egypt's most beautiful sea occurs with the full connivance and indifference of the Sahl Hasheesh developer company and the bay's hotel administration.
