We ate at this restaurant for 5 of the 7 days of our stay in Batumi. A gorgeous place, delicious dishes, huge portions of salad, awesome khinkali, very tasty wine. For 150 GEL for 7 people, we just overeated. We tried soups (we really liked just broth with a huge piece of meat), khinkali are juicy, the dough is thin. I recommend. Only the service is lame, then the bread will not be brought, then they will forget about the barbecue. And the dishes are served in a strange sequence: first they can bring khinkali or a hot dish, then a salad, the last dish will be soup.
Great place! I really liked the food!! I've never eaten such delicious dumplings in a pot! And eggplants have a very delicate texture! The prices are affordable. The staff is nice and pleasant. I really liked it! I will definitely recommend it to friends and family 🤍
I was in this cafe both in 23 and 24, an excellent combination of price and quality for this part of Batumi. A diverse hall consisting of the main room and a veranda, a good toilet. The waitresses are ready to help, yes, sometimes you have to wait for a full load, but this is an objective factor. The food has no special zest, as well as drinks, but the cost is very reasonable. But the highlight is Zandukeli soda in exceptionally beautiful bottles. I recommend.
A modest and not pretentious place next to the stadium pleasantly surprised absolutely everyone. There is a hall and a veranda to choose from. Impressive tables for any company, a married couple and just a hungry person. The menu is also in Russian. The waiter girls will tell you everything. The prices are such that a hearty lunch for two is no more than 40 GEL. And it is almost in the center of Batumi. I definitely recommend it to everyone. Enjoy the good cuisine.
Very tasty, very cheap. Wine in carafes is cheaper than draught wine in the store. For comparison, here a liter of wine is 7 lari, and in the store - 10 lari. for 2200-2400 rubles, you can have a great lunch/dinner for two with wine. Georgians mostly eat there, and Russian speakers are served "through their teeth," but we didn't care.
Goodbye to the Old Barn...
to begin with, I really liked the place, we were regular visitors, we even celebrated our wedding anniversary here. And they have already forgiven the institution for some of the shoals related to the outdated price in the wine list, which a couple of times resulted in an unpleasant surprise during the calculation.
But, just yesterday, they "spit in our face." We went to have lunch and this time I wanted khinkali. However, the waiter, taking the order, said that khinkali was not. You won't have to wait long or anything, but there isn't and there won't be today. We were a little upset, but we ordered other dishes, it's okay, anything happens.
And what was our surprise that after about half an hour, a couple of plates of khinkali were served at the next table. And then for the others...
and when we asked the waiter why, she just spread her hands.
After such a frankly piggish attitude, I don't want to come back to you anymore. It's a shame!
A great restaurant!
The waiter girls are kind, pleasant and positive. The attitude towards small children is the warmest.
The food is delicious (khinkali, soups), the prices are sooo nice!!! We will come back more than once to try everything-everything-everything. The atmosphere is cozy.
The price of wine: 200g - 5 lari, 1L - 9 lari. I didn't have to choose, moreover, the waiter told us that there were ... 4 glasses to drink here. It's really light and delicious. And most importantly, my head didn't hurt. Coffee - 1 GEL.
We found it by chance and are very happy!!!
I heartily recommend this restaurant- delicious food, especially soups, lula, salads, phali and of course khinkali! The portions are large, you can take them for two. Thanks to the sweetest and most friendly waitress Nina, she will explain everything, and she will also give you a recipe. We tried to have lunch and dinner in other places (VK, Georgia-Belarus) - it's not like that. There are a lot of people in old ambare, but we didn't wait long. Everything is clean, neat, we will definitely come back again. Thanks to the hospitable old ambare!
The staff is so friendly that you always want to come) delicious food, a lot of people, it's hard to find a free table. Prices can be said to be low compared to many cafes nearby.
Friendly staff. Fresh meat. You can buy good mutton here. In front of you, they will cut and prepare the meat in portions. I liked that you can sit down and immediately fry the meat yourself right at the table. That is, barbecues are mounted in the tables, and an extractor hood is above the tables. Whether 👍
Amazing place! Inexpensive (normal prices, for example, khachapuri 10-12, khinkali 1,2 urban, salad with nuts 6), while very tasty. In particular, worthy khinkali, khachapuri, kebab with suluguni, chashushuli with veal. The locals visit. The place itself is visually pretty. There are a lot of people - sometimes there are no places. It is better to book.
I remember the visit itself vaguely. I came in a bad mood (the aviation company,, red pigs,, rescheduled my regular flight for 30 hours). That's why I immediately started drinking wine. It turned out to be extremely pleasant. I probably drank a liter. I had a snack with cheese, then khinkali. It's quite tasty. Clear. A lot of people. The waiters know Russian. He sang songs in the taxi. My wife said that we had a very budget meeting. The institution meets its rating. PS , do not fly ,,red pigs,, they will deceive you
A gorgeous place!!! Delicious Georgian national food!
At the same time, the price tag is very democratic))
The staff is pleasant, the room has a comfortable atmosphere!
I've been here the most during my vacation)
The next time I find myself in Batumi, I will definitely go🫶👍
We had dinner at this restaurant. Lots of people, but lots of tables. Cozy, clean. We ordered kharcho, lobio in a pot and a vegetable salad with nuts. Lobio is insanely delicious 5+, salad with almost no nuts and tomatoes " drained " in the morning, sluggish. And the kharcho is the most tasteless in my life. And coriander olney stalks)The only thing is that there is a lot of meat in the kharcho and it is perfectly cooked.
Very cozy place. The waitresses are friendly and polite. All portions are large, and the prices are very affordable.
We tried
Chakapuli. Probably the most delicious of all that I have tasted in Georgia. Rich, lots of greens and lots of meat.
Khinkali. Thin dough, not salted meat (as it often happens) delicious broth.
Shkmeruli. Everything was delicious, but the sauce was slightly over-salted, next time I'll ask for less salt.
The menu is very diverse, we will go again, try other dishes.
I recommend to visit!!!
Thanks to the chefs for preserving traditional tastes!
We've been to this place a couple of times on vacation. I really liked everything, the prices are excellent, the food is very tasty. (It's the tastiest barbecue I've ever eaten) The staff has a separate respect.
Overestimated as much as possible
I absolutely do not understand why there are so many rave reviews
The food is normal, the portions are large as everywhere else, but in general without much enthusiasm
The service is just tin, they don't bring your dishes, then they take them away, they bring them again, and you should notice it yourself, all the waitresses speak both Russian and English poorly, apparently so that you can't quarrel
They brought a chicken kebab instead of kebab, we tried it, because we didn't recognize it right away, and 10 minutes later they brought us a kebab, swore that we had eaten the kebab and included it in the bill, although we didn't need it at all
The whole bill is in Georgian, all the dishes are paid there from the fool, apparently because tourists do not know the language, and also 10% of the tip is included in the bill
I would also demand a discount with such service
And as it was said in the comments below, they keep large tables for large companies or for local ones, so there is always a queue
I absolutely do not recommend visiting, the impressions of the evening are spoiled as much as possible
Great location, very good price tag, delicious cuisine, excellent service. If you come to Batumi, this place is 6 out of 5 in price and quality! The girls are all polite, cultured! I advise everyone to visit this place!!!! On the day of writing the review, I visited this place 3 times. The first two times are on April 24, if you want to have a delicious and inexpensive meal here!!!
The best restaurant we've ever eaten at. They cook fast and incredibly tasty. They serve immediately and politely for visitors. Do not order much as the portions are large and very tasty. We are rolled out of the restaurant proto every time..... I recommend
I was with a girl who is allergic to cilantro, and they clarified its presence in khinkali. We were advised to go mountain without greenery at all. Great, we're glad. But! They brought it with kanza. The dish was taken away and proved that it was not cilantro. The new one was waited for about 20 minutes, as a result, they refused to cook it at all.
It's a pity that we found this place only on the last days of rest, for this money and even one and a half to two times more expensive, you can't find anything better, a draught glass of beer for $ 0.70 in 2025 is something you can't believe until the bill arrives)
A very good cafe with a price/quality ratio. Prices are much lower than in most cafes and at the same time large portions. But in the kitchen, not wow, but a good average guy. The service is also average, but this is generally the norm for Batumi, even for +"4.7" restaurants according to Yandex
A cool place, while we were on vacation, we had dinner there almost every day, very tasty dumplings in a pot, do not take kupaty, very spicy and from liver, I was sick with an upset stomach for 4 days.very sharp.
Believing in the good reviews, we decided to visit this institution, at first they could not put us at the table, the waitresses were rude and unfriendly, the dishes were thrown on the table as if you owed them, the waiters in Naples were reminded), they brought collapsed coupons that it was impossible to eat, bread was brought ten minutes after the hot was served, the bowl was with veins and with lumps of fat, the portion is small, the kebab is dry, with an incomprehensible taste and small bones came across, khinkali was also a three, of all only lobio turned out to be more or less edible, the first time this happened in Georgia, in general, the evening was spoiled.
The place is super! Everything is always very tasty and the prices are pleasant. I definitely recommend it! My family and I had lunch here almost every day during our vacation in Batumi.
It's not the first time here. Everything is on top. The food is delicious and the staff is polite and friendly. They speak Russian. Some orders took a long time to prepare, so I had to take them home. Smoked ribs upset((( The price segment is lower than in an institution of this kind and the menu. I recommend 100%
The place is a bomb! The food is very tasty and the prices are lower than in other places. The waiters are polite, they will always prompt and tell you. The renovation and the place itself is very cozy! I recommend you to visit!!!
The food is not bad, something is not very tasty. But a very big disadvantage is the service. The waitresses are running around, they can't really say anything in Russian, and in general it seems that they somehow don't have time for us. Tables on the veranda are always on standby. That's because the girls don't want to put three people in there. They are waiting for a big company with a good check. Well, the cherry on the cake is the expectation. You order meat, fried potatoes and khachapuri. They bring you khachapuri after 20 minutes, then potatoes after another 20 minutes and then only meat after 30 minutes. And you have to choke on cold potatoes, and you take the cold khachapuri with you. Complete bullshit!
The service is quite strange, but delicious khinkali and excellent wine. I recommend trying khachapuri separately. We had a great time with friends, there are places in the evening.
Of the advantages:
+ relatively cheap food and wine;
+ the summer veranda and the interior are clean and tidy.
Of the cons:
- slow-moving staff, who now and then need to be reminded of their presence and of the expectation of what is ordered, even after the average workload of the institution by visitors;
- old scratched tables inside the room;
- the menu is not very diverse: from desserts, only ice cream, and fruits, for example. Some items listed on the menu are never available, for example, fish steak. When asked when the steak will appear, they answer that "never, but the menu is just old and does not reflect the real picture of what is available."
The cafe was our regular place for lunch or dinner. The service is slow, very noisy (just local companies like that) , but very tasty. And probably the cheapest and tastiest beer. The staff is polite. Everything is cool.
The waiters are wonderful, the cuisine is just a delight for this price, a special place for khinkali from chopped beef)) the best thing I've tried in Georgia))) and a wonderful environment, renovation))) I rarely write reviews) but I just wanted to))
Super cafe, service is fast, prices are lower than expected, the food is very tasty. The best cafe in the city!

Since we arrived, we've been eating here all the time. Very tasty khinkali for 1 GEL. I liked it better with cheese! You only need to order 5 pieces each! We also ordered ojahuri with pork and trout. Everything was delicious! But one disadvantage is that there are always a lot of people and everything takes a long time! As for alcohol, take a liter of wine at once, it costs 9 bins, and one glass costs 5.. we also bought a bottle of cognac - super! I definitely recommend it!
Just the best khinkali in Batumi, the rest of the menu is also on the level, cool kebabs, salads, wine and chacha 5+ and all for a modest price. The kitchen cooks quickly, the waitresses serve quickly. I just didn't have enough spices, sharpness, but I think if you say it, they can add it.
The interior is good, the prices are low. But the quality of the food leaves much to be desired, pork kebab (12lari) with bones and fat, it is unclear why these pieces. Eggplant with nuts (6 lari) tasteless. Khinkali (1-1.2 lari) made of thick dough, like dumplings. Kharcho soup (10lari) was normal, but it also had a piece of beef, not removed from the bone and cartilage. The food arrived quickly. In general, what are the prices - such are the dishes.
I do not give the minimum rating for the kitchen (since I did not manage to try it), but for the minimum customer orientation. Once they came 1 hour before closing time - they said that orders were not accepted, the kitchen was closed and "goodbye".
We arrived a few days later 1.40 minutes before closing, the table was just vacated, but they also said that they would not accept the order.
There are a lot of local citizens and in general, it seems that this institution is focused on them, and the rest on a residual basis.
The phrase "More wine for the gentlemen?" blew our roof off. A lot can be forgiven for that.
Of the cons: we forgot about the potatoes once, but we were already gorged by that time, and we were not very upset
The kitchen is delicious, but the place is noisy. The waiters, like everywhere else, are in no particular hurry. I especially liked the kharcho and the chicken in cream sauce.
We ordered khinkali, eggplant with nuts, and suluguni with mushrooms. We were disappointed in all positions except mushrooms. Khinkali is the worst of those who ate in different places in two weeks, there is little meat, the taste is average. There are few eggplants in the serving, and the bitter eggplants themselves interrupt the taste of the already tasteless filler. I don't understand why the institution has such a rating, people probably haven't been to other places)
The kitchen is good. We ate at this cafe several times. I just don't recommend Ojahuri. There will be dry meat. The prices are very good. The attitude towards the guests leaves much to be desired. If you have paid the bill, you will be kicked out even in the rain. That's what they did to us. Although there were already a lot of empty tables. That's the kind of Georgian hospitality here…
It 's a great place , we chose it based on reviews .
The boarding was complete, but we were taken to a vacant table. The food is served quickly , the portions are large , the food is fresh and delicious . Prices are generally on fire!)
One of the best Georgian cuisine establishments in Batumi. A large thoughtful menu, an adequate price tag, a warm atmosphere and friendly staff. The best Khinkali in new Batumi 😎
you need to come here for a long time, the prices are pleasing, everything is very tasty, but for a very very long time. khinkali was brought to 2 people at once, although they asked for 3 servings, after 15 minutes only the union was brought after that, then the salad.... and when you left, they say that the khinkali is still ready. in short, if you are not in a hurry, we recommend a beer))))
A great restaurant. Prices are lower than the average in the city, and the portions are large. The food is delicious, the menu is varied, Georgian cuisine prevails, which is good for a tourist.
The waiters try their best, because of the full landing (in the evenings) it happens that the order has to wait, but this does not spoil the impression of the restaurant at all.
Also, the fact that the food is delicious here and that this place is popular is indicated by queues near the restaurant in the evenings on weekends, so book a table in advance (the restaurant's contacts are on the Internet, they also respond on Instagram).
It's a good place, although it's difficult to sit there, but if you come before 7.30 there will be an empty table. Since we went there every evening, the waiters remembered us and immediately offered us a table. The menu is great and delicious, especially Madame Bovary's dish. The prices are very nice. Khinkali was eaten and tastier, but at this price it is very good.
