NG is always crowded here, they put up shopping malls, sometimes in winter they fill the ice rink. Near the metro, bus stop, there is a free parking lot on the side - opposite the executive committee and Beltelecom, but there are usually no places there (especially on weekdays from 8.00 to 18.00), the rest of the parking is paid, so I recommend public transport for a walk. Within walking distance - GUM, various food stores, fast food and just cafes. There is a cookery on the ground floor of the Palace of the Republic (if you stand facing it, on the right).

On the right is the Palace of Culture of Trade Unions. The pyramid near the roadway is a monument "Kilometer Zero". Behind you are Alexander Square and the Yanka Kupala National Academic Theater. In winter, a Christmas tree is installed on the square.
