The location is excellent, the room is comfortable, not very large, but not cramped.
We were a group of 7 people, and we liked the food, despite the fact that we were on a bad day. There were technical problems with the equipment, and part of the menu was on the stop:(
But despite this, we were offered an adequate assortment, including hot dishes, with a fairly quick delivery, pleasant service and a small bonus at the end, for being loyal to the current situation.
I will be very happy to come back again.

It is difficult to properly describe this place, because there are many good things, but also many bad things.
This is mainly a morning restaurant, because all the dishes you go here for at 6 in the evening, which are dumplings, sambusaki and draniki, are already running out. It's strange for a restaurant on a central street, but let's say. They explain this by saying that they sculpt and prepare a certain amount in advance, which is OK, but it's strange that they don't review the concept, because this is the main problem of this institution. You come, there's nothing left.
Further, the whole place is tired and the smell of the kitchen seeps into the hall. My clothes all smelled of bitter fried butter, as if I hadn't had dinner there for an hour or two, but had been working in the kitchen all day.
The staff seems to be out of sync, some say that everything is there, you start ordering, there is nothing.
But in general, if you manage to catch food in this restaurant, it is very tasty, a lot of things have been tried, and everything was very successful.
In general, mixed feelings remain after visiting, and nothing has changed in 2 years, so in general, I don't want to go back there anymore.
Maybe in the summer season, you can visit the veranda during the day, and it will be a little better. We'll see.

We went to the institution purposefully, because we had already been here in the summer and liked everything very much. No luck this time, either the new year, or some other factors influenced it.
First of all, they clarified the availability of the children's menu and French fries (the child only wanted them) and said that they were. But we were not told that there is almost nothing for adults. They sat us down at a table, gave us a menu, and we spent 10 minutes choosing. Then the waiter came over and asked if we had been warned about the absence of some dishes. As it turned out, they had no fish dishes, chicken dishes, or potato dishes. When asked what to eat, we were offered salads and cold appetizers.
And just for a minute, it was January 4th, 3 p.m. It's the first day of the big weekend, there are a lot of tourists, and the restaurant has almost nothing available. They didn't even have bottled water, no compotes, either. I had to drink my own water
Then the waiter went to the kitchen and said that there was borscht and 2 servings of flounder. And thanks for that. They didn't leave, only because they spent a lot of time studying the menu and the children's menu seemed to be available.
The food arrived about 25 minutes later, it was delicious, you can't argue with that, but the children's food was not very good. The potatoes looked like they'd just been fried, but not the fries, and the nuggets smelled good.
I hope it's just that we were unlucky that day, because we had a very good opinion of this institution.

The salad was served within 15 minutes, but the potatoes were brought to me when I really wanted to. The potatoes were at the same time deliciously cooked and brought in a serving pan. Considering that we were at 5 p.m. on Sunday, a lot of things were already missing from the menu. Draniki and sambusaki were absent, although it seems to me that their basis was for hot and dessert. We didn't ask any further. I liked the trout salad (there is a note in the menu that it is new). Sea buckthorn tea was delicious. It was served in a teapot.

I visited Odessa in my childhood in the late 50s, where I spent the summer at the 16th station of B.Fontana.
It's a pity, of course, that there were no favorite dumplings with cherries. But the chebureks from the Delivery were delicious.

They were unpleasantly surprised. We ordered meze - different spreads. There was a lot of mayonnaise in some of them - the taste of other ingredients was not felt. It's an extravaganza of emotions. We were shocked! No one in our family has ever met such a person.
Most of the menu is missing. Including some potato dishes! Borscht was offered without sour cream. One spoon for four was on the table. I had to search on empty tables. I don't even have anything to wipe my hands with in the toilet. The waiter confuses the contents of the order and still tries to argue, although after ordering we asked to repeat our order and made sure that everything was written correctly.
Serving backwards is generally a masterpiece. Coffee was brought first, then dessert, then the second course, and finally the first courses. How is that even possible? When asked why, the waiter replied that they serve it "as soon as it is ready." As a result, the butter had congealed in the Kiev-style cutlets. We drank iced coffee. I had to eat dessert while waiting for the first one. I've never seen such game anywhere. Even in a small roadside cafe somewhere on the highway outside of populated areas, everything was served in the right order without unnecessary questions. Although it was obviously fast to make coffee. They just did it when we were finishing our second course.
Change the name, don't disgrace the glorious city of Odessa.

I often write extremely positive reviews, but here the impressions are very mixed. Many drinks from the menu cannot be ordered: there is no fruit drink, compote, or craft tea. There are no dumplings with cherries either, it seems, and there are no blueberries. The draniki are a complete failure both in taste and appearance - the worst ones I've tried in Minsk and Brest, although they don't bathe in oil here like in many other cafes, but that doesn't make it any easier. Tea is brewed in a teapot without a filter bag, as a result, before drinking tea, you catch grass from a mug. The waiter is a sour-tempered girl. The guy is positive. The interior of the cafe is pleasant, the prices are low, and the place on Sovetskaya Street next to the lanterns, which are lit manually in the evening, is certainly good. In general, you can go in, but there is no desire to go again from the word at all.

The chain Odessa mama in Brest is in no way comparable to the chain restaurants in Moscow or St. Petersburg. Utter disappointment! It's cold in the hall, the waiter is wearing a plaid, the Internet is not working (the router is broken), more than half of the menu is missing, and what is there was carried for more than an hour (and this is with an almost empty hall!) Borscht was cooked for 40 minutes, then each dish "is already being served, another 5 minutes" and again waiting for 20 minutes. I only got borscht and tea to fill my stomachs. I could have put more stars - I would have put it without hesitation. Pleasant music, friendly waiters, nice interior. The food is sooo delicious, the presentation is pleasant, there is plenty to choose from. It's pretty budget-friendly. I definitely recommend it to those who want something simple, but with a twist.

As a result, we waited 30 minutes, we didn't have time to eat, we had to ask them to pack with us.
We were left hungry.

Our favorite budget cafe. We went to such a cafe in Grodno, we were glad to find it in Brest. Very pleasant waiters, delicious and hearty menu, cool atmosphere. The establishment is very well located. You can order dinner and go out to see the lamplighter. There is a terrace-balcony on the second floor. The dishes are delicious. The waiting time is not long. My daughter's favorite is the squid salad. I really like the spread with delicious croutons. My husband appreciated the borscht. The tongue with raspberry sauce is also good. Excellent chicken cutlets for a child.

I went to this place for the first and last time, they left upset and hungry!
We arrived at lunch, there were no soups available, although we were the only ones who were there at lunch. We decided to order at least a second course and a salad . For the second, they brought us a cutlet with sauce. Of all this, only the sauce was delicious, the cutlet itself was terribly tough and with a taste of meat that was not the first freshness. The salad that was brought to us is just an expectation- the reality is 3 pieces of herring, a little vegetables from the strength of 100 grams, it's a pity that it wasn't photographed. The other salad was with ptitim and ham, but it feels like only pepper and ptitim were added there and everything was seasoned with sour mayonnaise. As a result, we left completely hungry, gave 35 rubles - this is in order higher than in other establishments that we visited. If you set high prices and position yourself as a restaurant, the dishes must match the price and quality, and so the dining room tastes 10 times better than yours, you have to work and work on quality!
I only give 2 points for the staff, they were polite and friendly, and I don't set foot in your place anymore!

A year ago we were in this cafe and we really liked it, but now the service has dropped and the menu is suffering. It was difficult to find a free table, now walk around at least three.
I ordered borscht with garlic dumplings, they brought it just with bread; wild berries tea - berry puree diluted with hot water, not a hint of "tea". I asked to replace it, they didn't specify whether it was a cup or a kettle, they just brought a kettle of tea, they forgot about sugar.
On the first day, we wanted dumplings, but half of them were missing. Dumplings are served with a cup of sour cream, which is placed directly on a plate, for me it is unhygienic.
As a result, the tea was not removed from the bill and was not changed, although the tea itself was replaced, but at the same time the tea was not just black, but some kind of herbal, which also raises questions, because there could be an allergy (and there is one).
