The location is excellent, the room is comfortable, not very large, but not cramped.
We were a group of 7 people, and we liked the food, despite the fact that we were on a bad day. There were technical problems with the equipment, and part of the menu was on the stop:(
But despite this, we were offered an adequate assortment, including hot dishes, with a fairly quick delivery, pleasant service and a small bonus at the end, for being loyal to the current situation.
I will be very happy to come back again.
My favorite cafe is atmospheric, pleasant, in a very good location in the city, the food is unusual, delicious, the service is excellent, the waiters found us a table when there were no places at all) I highly recommend visiting!
It is difficult to properly describe this place, because there are many good things, but also many bad things.
This is mainly a morning restaurant, because all the dishes you go here for at 6 in the evening, which are dumplings, sambusaki and draniki, are already running out. It's strange for a restaurant on a central street, but let's say. They explain this by saying that they sculpt and prepare a certain amount in advance, which is OK, but it's strange that they don't review the concept, because this is the main problem of this institution. You come, there's nothing left.
Further, the whole place is tired and the smell of the kitchen seeps into the hall. My clothes all smelled of bitter fried butter, as if I hadn't had dinner there for an hour or two, but had been working in the kitchen all day.
The staff seems to be out of sync, some say that everything is there, you start ordering, there is nothing.
But in general, if you manage to catch food in this restaurant, it is very tasty, a lot of things have been tried, and everything was very successful.
In general, mixed feelings remain after visiting, and nothing has changed in 2 years, so in general, I don't want to go back there anymore.
Maybe in the summer season, you can visit the veranda during the day, and it will be a little better. We'll see.
We went to the institution purposefully, because we had already been here in the summer and liked everything very much. No luck this time, either the new year, or some other factors influenced it.
First of all, they clarified the availability of the children's menu and French fries (the child only wanted them) and said that they were. But we were not told that there is almost nothing for adults. They sat us down at a table, gave us a menu, and we spent 10 minutes choosing. Then the waiter came over and asked if we had been warned about the absence of some dishes. As it turned out, they had no fish dishes, chicken dishes, or potato dishes. When asked what to eat, we were offered salads and cold appetizers.
And just for a minute, it was January 4th, 3 p.m. It's the first day of the big weekend, there are a lot of tourists, and the restaurant has almost nothing available. They didn't even have bottled water, no compotes, either. I had to drink my own water
Then the waiter went to the kitchen and said that there was borscht and 2 servings of flounder. And thanks for that. They didn't leave, only because they spent a lot of time studying the menu and the children's menu seemed to be available.
The food arrived about 25 minutes later, it was delicious, you can't argue with that, but the children's food was not very good. The potatoes looked like they'd just been fried, but not the fries, and the nuggets smelled good.
I hope it's just that we were unlucky that day, because we had a very good opinion of this institution.
The impression is not bad. There are plenty of seats. 2 floors. The space was arranged in an interesting way. But 3 * for fried potatoes with bacon. They cooked for a very long time. The salad was served within 15 minutes, but the potatoes were brought to me when I really wanted to. The potatoes were at the same time deliciously cooked and brought in a serving pan. Considering that we were at 5 p.m. on Sunday, a lot of things were already missing from the menu. Draniki and sambusaki were absent, although it seems to me that their basis was for hot and dessert. We didn't ask any further. I liked the trout salad (there is a note in the menu that it is new). Sea buckthorn tea was delicious. It was served in a teapot.
I'll give you another second chance. I'll come back in a while
Great place, delicious food. Great serve. Friendly staff.
There's even a fried smelt. Very tasty . I recommend it for a wonderful evening and just have a delicious meal.
"Odessa-Mama" in Brest made me happy. Today, on January 4, 5% of the menu could be ordered there.....The waiter came up several times and adjusted the order....Shortly..We took a walk...a table was booked by phone...The seats were on the second floor...Everyone is hungry......The children were very hungry....But from what you ordered...There was nothing.... we choked on salads 2 times and ordered the same thing.I was lucky, I ordered borscht with pumpkins, it was really delicious, I ate.pasta is also delicious in a non-Flot way...spreadings are normal....We ordered a lot of bread, the waiter brought it to order, we spread it and ate it.The girls drank homemade wine.
Tarhun's children were drinking.
I didn't want to drink. But we walked a lot and got cold....The guys were drinking vodka....because there was nothing. No tinctures....There was no beer either.....
But we sat and watched as orders were brought to the neighboring tables....which weren't already... on the menu....strange....Something broke down there....
A girl with a beautiful voice was singing downstairs....The guy played well....
It seems like the guys just recently rediscovered.....It was difficult to wash my hands....There was no soap....The trash is littered with paper, no one cleans up.....It's a complete mess. The impression is ruined....Minsk residents are shocked by the local hospitality you have....They said the service in the capital was completely different....
We visited you often....I'm doing penance for now.
I'll check how it warms up, what's changed.
I visited Odessa in my childhood in the late 50s, where I spent the summer at the 16th station of B.Fontana.
It's a pity, of course, that there were no favorite dumplings with cherries. But the chebureks from the Delivery were delicious.
Thank you for the pleasure of eating and watching.
I recommend.
We've been here a few times, and we liked everything. But not now. There are no more dishes on the menu than there are. As in Bulgakov's novel: no matter what you miss, there is nothing! They were unpleasantly surprised. We ordered meze - different spreads. There was a lot of mayonnaise in some of them - the taste of other ingredients was not felt. And not all the spreads matched the menu. The meze was served in small white dishes that were cracked and chipped. I think this is unacceptable. Unfortunately, we are disappointed.
It's an extravaganza of emotions. We were shocked! No one in our family has ever met such a person.
Most of the menu is missing. Including some potato dishes! Borscht was offered without sour cream. One spoon for four was on the table. I had to search on empty tables. I don't even have anything to wipe my hands with in the toilet. The waiter confuses the contents of the order and still tries to argue, although after ordering we asked to repeat our order and made sure that everything was written correctly.
Serving backwards is generally a masterpiece. Coffee was brought first, then dessert, then the second course, and finally the first courses. How is that even possible? When asked why, the waiter replied that they serve it "as soon as it is ready." As a result, the butter had congealed in the Kiev-style cutlets. We drank iced coffee. I had to eat dessert while waiting for the first one. I've never seen such game anywhere. Even in a small roadside cafe somewhere on the highway outside of populated areas, everything was served in the right order without unnecessary questions. Although it was obviously fast to make coffee. They just did it when we were finishing our second course.
Change the name, don't disgrace the glorious city of Odessa.
I often write extremely positive reviews, but here the impressions are very mixed. Many drinks from the menu cannot be ordered: there is no fruit drink, compote, or craft tea. There are no dumplings with cherries either, it seems, and there are no blueberries. The draniki are a complete failure both in taste and appearance - the worst ones I've tried in Minsk and Brest, although they don't bathe in oil here like in many other cafes, but that doesn't make it any easier. Tea is brewed in a teapot without a filter bag, as a result, before drinking tea, you catch grass from a mug. The waiter is a sour-tempered girl. The guy is positive. The interior of the cafe is pleasant, the prices are low, and the place on Sovetskaya Street next to the lanterns, which are lit manually in the evening, is certainly good. In general, you can go in, but there is no desire to go again from the word at all.
An ambiguous impression. Maybe it was just bad luck the second time, the first time was very tasty: we took meze with wine and borscht. The second time was a large sea plate. It was a frankly old frozen fish in it, instead of a sprat. In general, I do not recommend it. They may run out of beer and lemonades after the weekend. Please specify in advance. A big plus for the waiters. They work fervently and quickly. And here's the kitchen...
We came to a cafe on the weekend for lunch. Half of the menu was not available: there was no beer, there were no beef dishes, there was no white wine. We ordered borscht with garlic dumplings: they brought borscht with ordinary white bread without any comments, they answered the question that they had run out, but they did not warn us. One teaspoon of sour cream was included, although the menu indicated 50 grams. When asked about the quantity, the waiter replied, "What, should I bring it from home?" I answered all the complaints, but what can I do?It's not my fault.… The manager was not called. We visited the branch of this cafe in Grodno, we really liked it there, it can't be compared to the cafe in Brest.
It's a wonderful atmosphere, I really love all the points of this network (I've been to Grodno, Brest, and Minsk)
I really enjoyed the live music
I advise you to try pasta in a non-naval way.
The chain Odessa mama in Brest is in no way comparable to the chain restaurants in Moscow or St. Petersburg. Utter disappointment! It's cold in the hall, the waiter is wearing a plaid, the Internet is not working (the router is broken), more than half of the menu is missing, and what is there was carried for more than an hour (and this is with an almost empty hall!) Borscht was cooked for 40 minutes, then each dish "is already being served, another 5 minutes" and again waiting for 20 minutes. I only got borscht and tea to fill my stomachs. The pasta is empty, there was no photo on the menu, and the pancakes are greasy and float in oil. On the second floor, a table called the receptionist for cold soups and burnt draniki. The rest of the order was canceled, and I couldn't wait any longer. I'm sorry for the waitresses, they apologize, but you'd better find another job. There's nothing to catch, the place needs to be closed.
I don't recommend it. If you want to spoil your gastronomic mood, then you are here. Our family was unlucky. It was on this whole street, where there are many restaurants, that we came here. Firstly, the waiter did not understand the composition of the dishes, as a result, he did not bring what we ordered. 2. They seem to position themselves as a restaurant, but at 16:00 some of the dishes that are on the menu are no longer there. 3. they ordered nuggets for the child from the children's menu, and brought some kind of overcooked substance. This is not a restaurant, or even a cafe. It's a diner at the bus station, for Aliks.
The place seems to be atmospheric, but there are a lot of dishes on the table - no dumplings, no pickles, the borscht was light and not very hot, there are questions about the kitchen. The waiter was helpful and saved the situation with courtesy and courtesy. It's a pity, get better
I liked it here. Delicious, cozy, good waiters, there was even live music! The interior is cozy, funny quotes on the wall, took a couple of notes😂😂😂 It was good❤
The cafe is very good, pleasant and courteous staff, the cuisine is very tasty, but the girl in charge is, to put it mildly, a little boorish, talks badly with the staff, and judging by the fact that a lot of dishes on the menu have been missing lately, she doesn't quite cope with her duties, there was no such thing under the previous head. Therefore
The senior management of the Odessa-Mama cafe in Brest needs to make a conclusion, change the head and everything will be OK.
We came two days in a row, tried many dishes, the borscht is super! Everything is very tasty! The atmosphere is great, the waiters too. If we are in Brest, we will definitely come!
It's a very good place! Friendly and helpful staff! The dishes were prepared quickly and beautifully, with feeling, with sense, with arrangement. Not overcooked or undercooked, all according to GOST! I recommend this restaurant to everyone
I could have put more stars - I would have put it without hesitation. Pleasant music, friendly waiters, nice interior. The food is sooo delicious, the presentation is pleasant, there is plenty to choose from. It's pretty budget-friendly. I definitely recommend it to those who want something simple, but with a twist.
Upd: we took the food with us, and they signed each container, and also drew hearts😭😭😭 Guys, I adore you
There is also so much filling in chebureks that I did not even believe at first that this happens
It's a good place with its own style and cuisine that matches the name. Everything is on the level. But more importantly, it is located in the place where the Flashlight starts to light the first lanterns in the evening. So don't miss anything here if you came to watch this event.
Good location. Cozy terrace. Polite waiters. But! Half of the menu is on the stack! What they went for, there was nothing ((( And of course it was delicious. But it's a shame that you can't choose what you want, but you have to choose from what you have.
It's a great place, the food is very tasty: borscht is simply delicious, and everything else that we tried was at the highest level. I was particularly pleased with the attitude of the staff, everything was fast, polite and very professional, despite the fact that the waiter guy worked for only the third day. In general, we really liked it! If, or rather when, we will be on Sovetskaya next time, we will definitely come in!
The interior of the restaurant is not bad - this is one plus. The menu is small and it is difficult to choose something. One of the main disadvantages is a small selection of snacks, especially beer, and if you don't like fish, then choose another place. Noodles with chicken and mushrooms did not meet expectations: the sauce is too rich, the portion is small and the chicken with mushrooms is small. One of the delicious dishes was sambusaki (fried dumplings) with blueberries, but one of the dumplings was with meat. When pointing out this flaw to the waitress, she laughed and replied that it was a surprise. But this surprise spoiled the whole impression of the dish. Two of the four dishes were bland and in the roast with meat and boletus, there were two boletus for the whole dish. And as for the waiters, they had to wait a long time for both the order and the closing of the account, also the waitress Yu, who took the order, was poorly guided by the menu
Terrible service. We arrive for the second day in a row at lunchtime and there is neither borscht nor solyanka. The waiters are out of sync- some say one thing, others another.
We entered the restaurant until we ourselves approached the waiter and asked for the menu, they did not pay attention to us.
It was difficult to make an order, as half of the dishes that were selected were missing, and the rest are being prepared for a long time. Since we were limited in time, we asked what would be prepared quickly, and in the end, the choice fell on eggplant rolls on the recommendation of the waiter. As a result, we waited 30 minutes, we didn't have time to eat, we had to ask them to pack with us.
We were left hungry.
In addition to the long wait for the dishes, I also had to wait a long time for the change.
I would like to express my deep gratitude to the waiter with the wonderful and memorable name Ernest. For the dishes that are perfectly selected and recommended specifically for our request. Individual approach, willingness to meet customer needs. Many thanks to the chef for his professionalism and the soul invested in cooking. I really liked the atmosphere of the institution, the responsiveness of the staff, including the administrator Nikita. We definitely recommend you to visit. And what wonderful pancakes are here ... Yum!
0 ⭐️There is no service. No hot food was served for 2 hours. There was no reaction to requests to close the receipt. Empty glasses were not removed from the table. In 2 hours, they brought 2 salads with "tired" Peking cabbage. The administration does not respond to complaints. We waited 20 minutes for the payment, got ready to leave, the waiter caught up with us at the exit. I called the administrator, she threatened to press the alarm button)) and this is instead of an apology. I heartily do not recommend it. The only one + the location opposite the lamp. By the way, there wasn't much on the menu. The evening is ruined, as is the impression of Brest. Eh. Avoid this place
The food is at 5, the place is well located, next to the lanterns, but the service is excellent, and we had some minor problems, we forgot to bring the appliances, and so on, and others: someone left, did not wait for the order, the table opposite in general, the waitress poured sour cream over them
There was practically nothing on the menu. We waited a long time for them to come up to us to take our order, although two young waiters were free. The only dish they could offer was pasta, which turned out to have something (sand or something else) grating on its teeth. The morse turned out to be highly diluted, like water.
We were in Brest, wandering around the city and came across this place. The kitchen is on fire! We took seafood. Everything is fresh and sooooo delicious. Thanks! Respect) We will be in Brest - we will definitely come back
It's a disgusting place. I don't recommend it. The kitchen is terrible. Some of the dishes listed on the menu are missing, the baby nuggets were overcooked (they were sent back to the kitchen, as a result, no apologies, no compliments), the waiter does not know the composition of the dishes, as a result, they did not bring what they ordered. Instead of fettuccine, they brought regular spaghetti. There are a lot of restaurants on this street, and we managed to enter this one. If you want to spoil your mood, then go here.
The atmosphere is like visiting Odessa! They greet us like family. I really liked it. The food is delicious, the music is pleasant. The service is beyond praise! The best recommendation is empty plates for a child who eats almost nothing at all. We were pleasantly surprised! Thank you for a great time.
Our people are not used to having breakfast outside the house, but sometimes the need forces. For example, they passed an analysis on an empty stomach, and then business... Breakfast is great!!! And lunch is rarely like this . Don't be jealous, but have a hearty breakfast - and the day was a success. Enjoy your meal) Thank you
The original design. Delicious dishes, portions are very large. Polite staff.
You can sit on the first or second floor. There are tables outside and on the balcony of the second floor. They cook relatively quickly. It's a pity, though, that traditional dumplings with poppy seeds were removed from the menu.
We waited 1.5 hours, but we didn't get the whole order. The fried flounder turned out to be steamed, it looked like boiled, but it was declared as fried, the barberry tincture was replaced without asking, cranberry, though without arguing, was taken away, horseradish was not brought, honey and pepper were brought, everything was confused, the Jewish salad with chicken turned out to be just a vegetable.Fried potatoes and fried smelt were not served.Guys, we need to reduce the number of seats because you can't handle the number of people. And you have to mix up so much in one order. The quality of what we've eaten is delicious.Cool interior. But, I repeat, waiting an hour and a half - and still not waiting for fried potatoes and fried smelt -seems to me too much.
It becomes clear that the kitchen is not coping.Very sorry.
Our favorite budget cafe. We went to such a cafe in Grodno, we were glad to find it in Brest. Very pleasant waiters, delicious and hearty menu, cool atmosphere. The establishment is very well located. You can order dinner and go out to see the lamplighter. There is a terrace-balcony on the second floor. The dishes are delicious. The waiting time is not long. My daughter's favorite is the squid salad. I really like the spread with delicious croutons. My husband appreciated the borscht. The tongue with raspberry sauce is also good. Excellent chicken cutlets for a child.
We were looking for a cafe with a children's room. We looked at the menu, liked it and went to them.
It turned out that there is no children's room (but this may be a problem in Yandex.Maps), the kitchen will not prepare more menus at the moment.
They had on 30.04.25, it would seem that there is a flow of customers, but the kitchen does not cook.
It's really nothing! We stopped for a snack and were satisfied. However, no matter what we tried to order, it DIDN'T HAPPEN.I had to make do with what was left....Delicious, the service is fast.I was pleasantly surprised by the live music, a young lady with a violin playing minus..
Great place, I recommend it! Friendly atmosphere, unobtrusive waiters. Well, it's not far to the lamplighter) I'll be back in Brest - I'll definitely come for a visit)
It's a pity to put even one star. The menu is not that big, but half of it is missing. There are only two tinctures, no beer, no mors. For some reason, there are nuggets with lecho on the children's menu. A large sea plate is also not particularly tasty: all the fish is overcooked so that it is not clear what kind of fish it is. In general, I do not recommend it.
I went to this place for the first and last time, they left upset and hungry!
We arrived at lunch, there were no soups available, although we were the only ones who were there at lunch. We decided to order at least a second course and a salad . For the second, they brought us a cutlet with sauce. Of all this, only the sauce was delicious, the cutlet itself was terribly tough and with a taste of meat that was not the first freshness. The salad that was brought to us is just an expectation- the reality is 3 pieces of herring, a little vegetables from the strength of 100 grams, it's a pity that it wasn't photographed. The other salad was with ptitim and ham, but it feels like only pepper and ptitim were added there and everything was seasoned with sour mayonnaise. As a result, we left completely hungry, gave 35 rubles - this is in order higher than in other establishments that we visited. If you set high prices and position yourself as a restaurant, the dishes must match the price and quality, and so the dining room tastes 10 times better than yours, you have to work and work on quality!
I only give 2 points for the staff, they were polite and friendly, and I don't set foot in your place anymore!
There are not many items on the menu at weekend lunch, not even beer. Without warning, they replaced the borscht dumplings with bread. I gave less sour cream to the borscht than stated in the menu. When the waiters were pointed out the shortcomings, they began to be rude. According to the waiters, no one is to blame for the joints.
A year ago we were in this cafe and we really liked it, but now the service has dropped and the menu is suffering. It was difficult to find a free table, now walk around at least three.
I ordered borscht with garlic dumplings, they brought it just with bread; wild berries tea - berry puree diluted with hot water, not a hint of "tea". I asked to replace it, they didn't specify whether it was a cup or a kettle, they just brought a kettle of tea, they forgot about sugar.
On the first day, we wanted dumplings, but half of them were missing. Dumplings are served with a cup of sour cream, which is placed directly on a plate, for me it is unhygienic.
As a result, the tea was not removed from the bill and was not changed, although the tea itself was replaced, but at the same time the tea was not just black, but some kind of herbal, which also raises questions, because there could be an allergy (and there is one).
