Terrible visiting experience. We paid all inclusive for a high price, flew for 12 hours. We checked into the room, but it turned out to be small, slippers and bathrobes are not provided, drinking coffee near the sea is not included in this all inclusive, you can not visit restaurants either. You can only go to the Mercato communal dining room. Okay, we paid extra before staying at El Beso (the building of the same hotel, adults only). The room is bigger, you can visit restaurants by the sea, but slippers and bathrobes are still not provided, toothbrushes are not given, they want extra charges))) By the sea, during all meals, the waiters literally extort tips for poured coffee (it tastes like a decoction of socks). No matter how much you pay for the tour here.Of course, you always have to stay local, and their service is unobtrusive and unhurried. The ocean storms all the time, the hotel's beach is dirty, it smells bad.
Never set foot in the Dominican Republic again.

A family of 4 people vacationed at the Ocean El Faro Hotel from December 16 to 26. We liked everything: animators, bartenders, staff, pools, rooms, territory (it's really huge) everything is clean and tidy. Especially, I would like to note this food and bars, I have not seen such a variety and abundance for a long time (in short: there are a lot of different meats, there are also a lot of seafood, but they do not know how to cook them, apparently because Dominicans eat meat again, and plus a lot of fast food, as there are a lot of tourists from the USA) in any any cocktail will be prepared from the bars and any drink will be poured (whiskey, rum, tequila, vodka, wine, liqueurs, champagne, etc. all products of world manufacturers) Turkey with its three types of locally bottled drinks is resting))), but only one type of beer, you will have to pay separately for a budweiser in glass. I can't understand the dudes who write that the food is not in the bush, how it can not be delicious there, you just can't taste it all in 11 days. But there are also disadvantages in this hotel, in our opinion there are two of them: the beach is so-so, but we don't care so much-as a beach holiday, we are not interested in it.
And the second but very significant disadvantage is that we have never played bingo(((

Wonderful hotel, clean, beautiful. Varied meals, good housekeeping, animation, billiards, bowling. Erick finishing thanks, we spent a lot of time in the bowling alley in the evening, a pleasant, positive atmosphere. Clean beach, swimming pools, Children's water park. I recommend it for both active and family holidays.
