I recently visited the restaurant and was absolutely delighted! The friendly staff created a cozy atmosphere, and the service was top notch. The food is delicious — each dish surprised with its taste and presentation, especially the dessert. The view of Dubai Downtown is simply mesmerizing, creating a romantic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place for dinner or lunch! I will definitely be back! 💙

A great restaurant, with a great view of the fountain and the show. They came in twice. The first time is just to have dinner, the second time is about. I liked everything, the meeting, the service, and the kitchen. The first time I took borscht and salmon fillet, it is very tasty, but there is a drawback...borscht could have been fed to three people, I couldn't handle it. The second time I took an octopus, it was a small taste bomb that exploded in my mouth, and left the consequences on my face, in the form of a smile of pleasure. Beyond praise. Thanks!

The Novikov restaurant on the 2nd floor of the Dubai Mall shopping center is not bad!
But there is no atmosphere , despite the high prices !
We had a second row, while the fountains were running, we went to the fence for 2 minutes, all the waiters and the assistant manager were SKEWED!
For the entire 40 minutes we were there, it felt like we would finish eating and leave as soon as possible ! The waiters were coming up , twitching about something !
At the end of dinner, after they asked for the bill, assistant manager Edgar for some reason "thought for me" literally from his mouth that you don't need to carry the change, it's his tip (on top of the commission and service fee), after I said that "you don't need to think for me, bring the change and I'll decide how much I tip I'll leave it" said that there was a misunderstanding and brought it!
But still, there is no such delicious aftertaste as from Novikov's restaurants in Sochi!

The place is very beautiful and atmospheric. We booked a table to have a delicious meal and look at the singing fountains. The view of the Burj Khalifa Tower and the singing fountains is simply gorgeous, but the food was disappointing. Fettuccine bolognese is tasteless, they did not eat minestrone soup, there is nothing to talk about. The kitchen was completely disappointed by the word. Deep-fried squid with sauce, not very good either, the sauce is too sour. In general, only the beautiful view, but not the food.

Novikov Cafe Dubai
Russian corner in the heart of Dubai - in the Dubai Mall. The restaurant serves Mediterranean cuisine with French cooking methods. Arkady Novikov's restaurant gives the best impression of the food, because it is cooked on charcoal.
The interior is simple, but at the same time with bright accents in the form of artistic furniture. I am also glad that the intimate seating remains, the people at the neighboring tables will not interfere with your evening in any way.

We stopped for lunch today, we wanted to go to our domestic restaurant. Because we love and visit restaurants of this chain in Moscow. But this one is a complete disappointment. I even felt uncomfortable for my own people. Russian Russian language menu was brought (only Russian, it's not written in English at the bottom) and the waiter couldn't understand what exactly we wanted, he ran to get English. That's just for the record. But I was struck by the quality and freshness of the dishes, or rather the absence of both. The oysters were fine, of course, but not super fresh. And the snails.... Well, it's just terrible. Dry, not tasty at all. And I was so glad they were on the menu. It's a complete disappointment. The lamb drumstick, according to my companion, was not bad, but not as tender as he expected. It needs to be fixed urgently.

I have had a very negative consumer experience!
The food is nothing special, it is absolutely impossible to say that it is delicious, although the branches of this restaurant in Moscow have proven themselves from a different (tasty) side.
What surprised me about this establishment in Dubai, to put it mildly, is that it is the only restaurant nearby that has a requirement for a client to be seated at a table on the terrace, and this requirement is a minimum check per person! The size of the minimum check per person was announced to us at 200 dirhams.
The place is always empty or half empty and is connected, as I assume, precisely because of the service, which can be rated at 2/2.5 out of 10, incomprehensible and unacceptable requirements (in the minimum check) and completely tasteless food.
This is the only such establishment in this mall with the disadvantages listed earlier.
It's a pity, but I absolutely do not recommend visiting this restaurant!

We ordered pasta Bolognese, Caesar salad with shrimp, a liter of local lemonade, and tea.
Bolognese - pasta with liquid stew. Everything. Caesar - it would seem impossible to spoil a salad, but the sauce is sour, the lettuce leaves are huge, the eggs are chicken, not quail, and the shrimps are absolutely bland. Mojito lemonade is just a diluted syrup with lemon slices and strawberry slices, but terribly sickly sweet. Tea is brewed from a tea bag!

We decided to try Novikov in Dubai.
Well. Visually, apart from the view of the Singing Fountain, it is an ordinary cafe that does not reach the restaurant, unlike the price category of dishes. Outside there is a reception desk. Inside, at the entrance, there is a showcase with desserts and a bar. There are tables around the edges and in the depths. There is a summer terrace outside the window. When she got to the couch, the administrator clarified: in what language the menu is needed. (It is already clear what choice native Russian speakers made).
Picking up a cardboard sheet, there were notes of surprise in his eyes. The cost of one dish starts from 90 dirhams (2250₽).
"Did you know that there is a high price tag in the Emirates, especially for restaurant cuisine" - will flash through your mind.
Yes, I agree. That's the only reason we stayed to taste the carbohydrate order:
🫓 Rooibos tea (tree bark diluted with water) 2/10
Pasta Bolognese (not bad, but the protein component is not enough) 8/10
Oatmeal lasagna (I learned that it is made of oats at home by looking into the translator. The only thing that the taste buds felt was wet pasta sheets with tasteless meat sand) 4/10
🫓Napoleon cake (a dry piece with custard and decor for the price of a whole 2kg cake) 3/10
Of the disadvantages, you can add the lack of welcome bottled water, unlike the surrounding tables. I think they knew something and asked for a menu in a foreign language 😅
And so, apart from a quick serving of dishes, a free bread basket and an additional Free cheese for pasta with a view of the fountains, there is nothing remarkable.

We celebrated the engagement of our son in this restaurant. We chose the best one based on reviews. But apart from the good view and service, there is nothing good there. The dishes are terrible, the level is like in the dining room. A chop is a thin piece of breaded meat three times thicker than the meat itself, fatty, deep-fried. French fries were worse than at McDonald's, and cheap Hines ketchup went with it. Tea from a bag from the store for 600 rubles, a pack was served to us for 1000 rubles. Caesar- huge cubes of chicken, the worst Caesar has ever eaten. I liked only gnocchi and crab salad. The bill was $300, it's just unreasonably expensive for such a meal.

Classic excellent cuisine at Novikov cafe in Dubai Mall. There is definitely an understanding that there will definitely be no unpleasant surprises ! Only high-quality fresh products , familiar dishes . I recommend you to visit for 3 reasons :
1. The location is great, there is a private terrace.
2. You can watch the evening Fountain show right at the table, bread and circuses!
3. The serving size will please you.

A wonderful place, a wonderful kitchen! Russian Russian hospitality and friendliness (although the staff is local) allows me to be proud once again that I am RUSSIAN!!! Despite the full landing, the guys found a place for our family on the balcony. My daughter managed to enjoy the musical fountain three times!!!

We went there for a child's birthday and also to look at the fountains not in the crowd.
It would be better to stand in the crowd for those three minutes (yes, the fountains go for three minutes).
If you're not sitting at a table near the balcony, you won't be able to get to the edge, because there are tables everywhere. Literally a table on a table, of course there is no space and borders, which I consider important, because sitting on a neighbor's head is not very pleasant.
There are empty tables near the fountains, where people haven't come yet, and I went to look at the fountains near these tables (buttered butter, but as it is)
You should have seen the distorted faces of the waiters.
Their faces looked like I went up to them and pulled money out of their pockets, and they hinted in every possible way that they had brought food and it was time to eat and leave.
I took the chicken, it was just dry, and the seafood was delicious.
Of course, we didn't expect super dishes and went there for the atmosphere. The atmosphere is minus 100 million dirhams.
Edgar, the deputy manager, who spoke Russian, decided not to bring the change and said that he thought for two women with a child that we had left him a tip, having previously told us that children in this restaurant are not congratulated with a piece of cake and we can buy a cake ourselves and he would congratulate the restaurant. I should have gotten up and left that disgusting vibe by then.
The worst part is this vibe, we knew there were 200 dirhams for each one.
We went to the child's doctor and the next one was my daughter's doctor.
Well, that is, under the events of -17.02. my friend gave birth, 18.02. I gave birth. This is an important event for women.
Edgar, a real man can think of how to pay the bill for a woman, and not think for her that she left you a tip and not bring the change.
