It's a great place if you need somewhere to stay for some time. We rented a room here with three beds on the last floor. There's a cafeteria on the second floor where you can make a tea or a coffee. Especially here's a very friendly hostess. And there's a good view of Hrazdan Gorge. And there's a good air conditioner.
About minuses. I know that this place is cheap, but I really recommend to make some repairs. I almost crushed curtains in the shower room, because they were fixed badly. The rooms are clear, but the clothes dryer in the shower room was in dust.
The hostel NordWest has a positive and very friendly atmosphere.
I stopped by at night without warning, Ruzan's hostess opened the door and met me without any problems and showed me everything at the hostel. Ruzana is very friendly and positive, she will always tell you and tell you if you need anything. Her daughter and friend Inessa makes great pastries. The fruit pie for my birthday was amazingly delicious!
The hostel is spacious, warm and cozy in winter. I had friendly, cool roommates. We have a lot in common, interesting people.
There is a kitchen where you can cook, and a spacious dining room.
The location of the hostel is a few minutes from the Metro and bus stops, there is also a market and necessary grocery stores nearby.
I lived a little over a week, I really liked everything! I recommend it! I will be in Yerevan, and I will definitely stay at the NordWest Hostel again!
We've been here a week. We came from the tour , had dinner , took a shower and went to bed. Everything is fine , at home . There is everything you need, a dining room, the dishes are quite decent, the bed is clean, the towels are white. The shower and toilet are clean. There is always toilet paper and soap. Air conditioning in the room and dining room. The hosts are always friendly and will tell you if something is unclear. I will recommend everyone who goes to Yerevan.
The optimal price-quality ratio for those who rent a hotel so that after spending the whole day on excursions around the neighborhood, they practically only spend the night there. Our room was very spacious, the decor was quite Spartan - 4 beds, a wardrobe, a pair of bedside tables and a table with a mirror. The shower and toilet are shared on the floor (we had 4 rooms, 2 of them were occupied) - it is not very convenient, since even with a minimum of guests, there was sometimes a queue. For meals on the 2nd floor there is a common dining room with sofas and a TV. There is also a kitchen where you can cook food. A lot of dishes, a refrigerator. We also had a sink and dishes on the floor. There is free tea, coffee, sugar, spices, vegetable oil.
The car was parked on the street near the hotel, as the street is narrow - there is a risk that someone might drive into you.
Very hospitable hostesses of the hotel. The room on the third floor has air conditioning and even a balcony overlooking the gorge! On the second floor there is a dining room with TV, refrigerators and tables with sofas. A wonderful place to relax.
