We had a vacation in Brest with our children in July 2024. We visited this cafe on July 15, 2024. We saw the Brest Fortress and decided to have dinner at the Forget-me-not cafe. The waiters are very polite and friendly. A 2-year-old child was offered to play a house (bizboard) while waiting for the order, the child was delighted. The food is very tasty, borscht, salads, ice cream, desserts with Viennese waffle were very much liked. Great place, we recommend you to visit.

We visited the cafe "Forget-me-not" with the hope of a quality lunch. The result was mixed: we were pleased with several positions, but significant disadvantages in other dishes, service and pricing policy outweigh the positive impressions.
**The quality of the dishes (Mixed):**
1. **Salads (Caesar and shrimp):** **The main drawback is an excessive amount of mayonnaise.** Its dominant taste and consistency completely overwhelmed the rest of the ingredients (chicken, shrimp, herbs, crackers). The expectation of balanced taste and freshness was not fulfilled. The quality of salad preparation left much to be desired.
2. **Cheese sticks:** **A failed dish.** The chopsticks were **extremely greasy** (feeling soaked in oil) and ** absolutely tasteless.** There was no cheese saturation and pleasant texture. The quality is completely unacceptable.
3. **Meat plate:** **A positive moment.** The dish was ** cooked well, the meat was delicious and of high quality.** It was the only really successful position of the ordered appetizers/main courses.

after that, for interest, I took a margarita - absolutely identical taste. I couldn't even taste tequila or rum either way. It's literally like I drank two identical drinks, both watery with a taste of burnt sugar.

I would like to note the high professionalism of the staff. The guys are on top! At least in other places it was not as elegant and efficient as in Forget-me-Not. I'll make a reservation right away, the cafe worked on special maintenance and is beyond praise!
The kitchen was no less amazing. A variety of different dishes and excellent serving. The guys know the composition of the dishes and are willing to share information. I recommend it to gourmets. Well, a few words about the interior. There is a sense of home care in everything . Cleanliness and well-groomed. Some "nightingales" are worth something. And this is thoughtfulness in small things... and so it is with them in everything.
Summary: I recommend visiting and ordering for events.

We dined at the Forget-me-not twice, and both times very successfully. We took a business lunch, it turned out to be very profitable, and most importantly, incredibly tasty. Pancakes with a machanka are a separate delight. Toasted craft bread is served for lunch, which the children sweep away at the same minute.
