We had a rest in July 2024. I liked that the guest house is very close to the sea and a lot of shops, everything is at hand. The territory of the hotel is clean, always cleaned and fresh. We lived in room 406 - a beautiful view of the mountains, a comfortable room, there is everything you need-air conditioning, refrigerator, large wardrobe and bedside tables, a comfortable large bed and a bathroom of good quality, there is a hairdryer.
The food is delicious and safe, they bought only breakfast on the ticket, but they went to lunch and dinner anyway from their hotel.
The staff is friendly and friendly.
SPECIAL THANKS to Suzanne for the human attitude, after leaving, we accidentally transferred a large amount of money to her instead of another person, Suzanne immediately got in touch and returned the money to us.
I can conclude that the hotel employs decent and responsible staff who make your stay comfortable. If we go to Gagra again, then I am considering the Nevsky Stars for re-settlement.

We rested in Gagra from 15.06 to 06/24.24, stayed at the Nevsky Stars State House, thank you very much to the hosts Leonid and Marina for their hospitality, clean, cozy hotel,room 20 sq.m. there is everything you need (air conditioning, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer).The mattresses are very comfortable, the snow-white linen is 100% cotton.Special thanks to chef Julia for the super pastries and airy dough, the man is a pro in his field!Thanks to the administrator Tatiana and Svetlana for the positive and wonderful mood they shared with the vacationers.

We had a rest in Abkhazia, stayed at the Nevsky Zvezda hotel. I really liked it, the service is at a decent level, very clean cozy rooms, bed linen is 100% cotton, not synthetic, as in some hotels, the hotel is freshly renovated, excellent staff, special thanks to them, everyone is very friendly, responsive, hospitable, a chef of the highest class, always offers a variety of food, you can also order something from your preferences (but within reason).

In July 2023, we had a rest in Gagra. The Nevsky Stars Hotel was picked up by a travel agency. We arrived, we were met by the owner of the hotel Leonid. Leonid and his wife Marina are very nice, friendly and friendly people. We had breakfast included. Esmira's cook cooks just great, breakfasts like in my grandmother's childhood, porridge, pancakes, cottage cheese, bread and butter and tea, coffee to choose from. We also tried lunches and dinners, all the food is top notch. The rooms are good, everything you need: a bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator. The shower is right in the room, which was very important to me. The rooms are clean. The maid Milena is always friendly, took things to the laundry, you could easily ask her to clean the room, there was never a refusal. The Nevsky Zvezda Hotel is very conveniently located, 80 meters from the sea, shops, shopping pavilions, pharmacies, and a market are located around. In the evening, it's good to walk along the embankment, live music is playing. The impressions of the rest are positive. I recommend the Nevsky Zvezda Hotel to everyone

Of the advantages, only the proximity to the sea)
The room is small, it smells damp, especially in the bathroom. For 5 days, they threw in a piece of the cheapest soap (there can be no question of slippers and other buns).
The breakfasts are tasteless and cheap, instead of butter, a spread that is impossible to eat, a meager portion of an omelet. The only time was a delicious cinnabon.
The owner Leonid is a separate story. Pretentious, as if he owns a Hilton, not a guest house in Gagra. It was just the two of us with a friend, and he touched each of us by the shoulder, he could poke his finger in the ribs. I don't think this kind of behavior is acceptable from an old man to young girls who are old enough to be his granddaughters. They just ran past him like a bullet. The owner accused us of breaking the air conditioner, leaving it running while we were not in the room. He shouted "WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE ARE YOU", accompanied by mats. The administrator Tatyana is indifferent, when leaving, she accused them of wanting to STEAL the keys (why do we need this?…).
Laundry is paid, ironing is paid. The room has never been cleaned in 5 days (although it was said that cleaning is done every 3 days). The TV shows 2-3 channels intermittently, one of them in the Abkhaz language.
The impression of this place is terrible. The Soviet Union.
The only ray of light is a small pastry shop at the hotel, where the wonderful Zemfira cooks everything! Very tasty pastries and sweets.
I understand that we did not come to a luxury hotel, but I wanted a normal human relationship, it would cover the disadvantages and leave good impressions about the rest.

We stayed at this hotel, if you can call it a "hotel" in September...the room is just terrible...
the wallpaper is all daubed with felt-tip pens and a pen, there are cobwebs on the ceiling....The mattresses are dirty...no one has ever changed the linen... there is no electric kettle, no glass or spoon in the room....I'm not talking about breakfast at all....It's just awful...porridges are always too salty ...they gave me a curd casserole, it was something....the cottage cheese that was missing was already frozen, it stank....they came up to the cook and told us about it, to which we had a FRESH answer, IT WAS BROUGHT TODAY...I hesitate to ask TODAY, what time did it arrive and when did you manage to cook, if breakfast is already from 7.00....the next day they give the same cottage cheese, only with sour cream....It's just terrible....also, another woman came up to me and told the cook the same thing, to which the answer was, IT'S FRESH, IT'S RUSTIC COTTAGE CHEESE....tea, can't you serve people tea at least greenfield, and not lisma strong, this garbage, which is simply not possible to drink....and put a lemon so that you can drink tea with lemon...the butter was cut in vain, and I didn't want to take it....Can't you buy a loaf or a bun so that people can drink tea???? And not just white, not fresh bread....This "hotel" is not worth the money....the only advantage is the distance to the sea....No more....

In the month of July 2023, we rested in Gagra, "Nevsky Stars". Comfortable room with air conditioning, refrigerator and TV. The shower room is in the room, very convenient. We paid for the breakfasts, but we never tried them, because they were on time until 09:30.
I didn't like the moment when we were sleeping in the room, and the maid wanted to come to us without knocking. I didn't like this moment very much.
There was no cleaning for our entire stay in the room..
and we caught a word with the owner of the hotel, when he asked with whom we would go on an excursion to Lake Rizza, he began to switch to personality.

It's more like a guest house with a pretentious name. I didn't like the service, especially this Leonid. The room was nice, the bed linen was fine, but the cleaning was barely knocked out, after the rotovirus it was already unpleasant to live in it. Breakfast is monotonous, rice porridge and spread instead of butter, once there were eggs and a delicious pie. Everything is too homey, the feeling that you live with their family, relatives and their children are around. They didn't even try to use the iron for a fee, they didn't even try to wash it. I do not advise you to relax there, it is expensive and no one will lick you there. Plus, the location to the sea and we had a beautiful view from the window, but below there is a view into the wall or onto the stairs. I don't advise it.

I liked the hotel. Fresh renovation, good design. The room is clean, has everything you need: snow-white towels and linen, air conditioning, refrigerator, hair dryer, TV. We have breakfast included. Very tasty porridges and pancakes. Lunch/dinner to order: fish and cutlets are great) It is possible to iron the laundry. There is a first-aid kit with medicines on the floor.
Very friendly hosts and receptionist Julia. Julia helped us choose excursions and ordered them. Thank them for a wonderful vacation!
The hotel is 5 minutes from the sea. There is a small pastry shop next to the entrance. The cakes are fresh, for every taste. There are many small shops and cafes.

We had a rest in May, we liked everything. Convenient location, 5 minutes from the promenade and the sea, there are grocery stores and cafes around, which are open until 23! (which is rare, mostly after 21-00 the city falls asleep). Hospitable hosts, the hostess prepares delicious breakfasts herself. Homely, simple, but cozy. We recommend it and will come back again.

We had a rest with a friend at the end of May-beginning of June 2023. If the priority is: daily change of towels and linen, then feel free to pass by, but otherwise: everything is homely and very cozy.
Thanks to Marina and Leonid for the warm welcome, Maarina cooks very well. The breakfasts are without pretensions, but fresh, tasty and satisfying.
Later, Zemfira appeared, and with it delicious Azerbaijani pastries: khachapuri with cheese, simply luxurious puff pastry.
The rooms are cozy, everything you need is available: a hairdryer, a bed, a refrigerator. The linen is snow-white. We were going to the sea and for new experiences, so the main thing was that there was a place to sleep and leave things, although, of course, it's more pleasant to do all this in a cozy place than just in a shed. The only wish, maybe, is to clean the room a little more often, because no one has canceled the sand from the beach.
I don't know if fate will lead me to the Nevsky Stars, but the place is very pleasant and from the sea and all the benefits of local civilization, within walking distance.

We stayed with the group for five days. Access to the sea is about 100m. The junior suite room is of a good standard. There is no table and chairs, no detergents. Bring your slippers and a boiler. The rest of the room is comfortable. In Abkhazia, water and light are turned off during the day. We left in the morning and returned in the evening from the tour. Therefore, they did not feel any inconvenience. There is a basin, you can wash and dry under the window. Do not leave the window completely open. There are many cats who want to become your uninvited guests. Breakfast includes milk porridge and something else. The porridge is delicious. There was no wet cleaning during the whole time, and towels were also not changed. The maid irons the clothes. The staff is friendly and friendly. Soviet-style service.

The impressions are only terrible. Starting from the check-in, we arrived at night, the owner Lenya came out, no hello-just threw the keys on the table, go up, 4th floor. The bed and towel were changed once in 10 days. The room is dirty, there is dust everywhere, streaks and smells of dampness. Breakfasts are a separate masterpiece, only water-milk porridge and bread and butter, the whole range (without exaggeration). For 10 days, we have never been able to wash our clothes, the owners said there was no car. Wash it with your hands. The room was not cleaned once, mops and buckets were not given. The room was not serviced at all, even the garbage bag and toilet paper were bought themselves, not to mention other hygiene products. The owners are unfriendly people, they do not try to be them. When leaving, they did not say goodbye. I strongly do not recommend this guest house. The only advantage is the proximity to the sea, 3 minutes.

There was no cleaning in 5 days. We arrived in a nice clean room, left sracha. And this despite the fact that every time I washed everyone's flip-flops after the sea and we walked in them, because it was already impossible to go barefoot. Pros: room 303 is good, you can see the sea and mountains from the window.

The hair dryer works for 1 minute and cuts off for 5. To dry things, you need your own clothespins, or even better, your own dryer. There is no menu in the dining room. A kind woman works, but speaks Russian poorly. It is almost impossible to clarify something from her on nutrition. The host is not hospitable, I hope this is temporary...

We had a rest in July 2022, arrived late, but the administrator Julia quickly settled in , showed everything and told. Our room was on the 3rd floor : the room is clean, towels are present, hairdryer, refrigerator, hot water, air conditioning is all there. The TV didn't work for us, but we weren't particularly upset. The Wi-Fi was good and it was enough for us. Of the disadvantages, the location of the room is not very good because the Windows overlook the stairs to the corridor and in fact there is no light or fresh air. There is a shared balcony on the floor: you can't smoke there (fine), there are no dryers , so its meaning was not very clear.
But there are dryers in the corridor where the stairs are outside the window, on the 2nd floor there is an ironing board and a first-aid kit, which I consider a plus.
We only took breakfast: from 8 to 10 in the morning. Breakfast is usually porridge (portions are large and porridges are delicious), in addition there are usually sandwiches, pancakes /fritters, scrambled eggs, muffins . Tea (black/green) is one of the drinks.
There is no territory as such where one could , for example , sit , except for the hall on the 1st floor with sofas and there is a table outside , but the owners often sit there .
5 minutes to the sea , close to shops/cafes, 15 minutes walk to the market. On the way to the market there is a good inexpensive dining room number 2 (at the San Marina hotel) a check for lunch went out for two 600 rubles.

I do not recommend this hotel, you can come by voucher, but they do not count on you there and there is no place. The owners will come up with a way out, but either they will move you in with someone or another place (away from the sea, without breakfast (well, if you want, you can come to them to eat), with a shared refrigerator, etc. yes, you can live, but the price of such accommodation should obviously be less. Their children are also running around in the hotel, I don't mind children at all. But I don't think it's pleasant when you see a child riding a scooter down the street, then riding it in the hall and driving into a cafe /dining room. It's the same with toys, they drag them across the floor, jump on them and then wave them at the place of eating. About the fact that smoking is prohibited, too, the guile of the owners themselves smoke. I can't say how in the room, there was no place as mentioned above. In a word, you can find a more decent and cheaper place to stay so as not to spoil your nerves and the beginning of a long-awaited vacation.

For breakfast there was porridge (rice or oatmeal, alternated) and pancakes or cheesecakes. For me, the breakfasts are absolutely not tasty. There was only one cleaning and change of linen and towels in 7 days. There is not a single hook in the bathroom, there is simply nowhere to hang a towel. Be ready to have your own soap and shampoo. This will not be provided to you here (although the Hotel is proudly called). The bathroom smells like sewage. The receptionist, Julia, is sweet. The man sitting next to her periodically (apparently the owner) is an unpleasant arrogant type who believes that his guest house is a 5-star hotel. The price is too high for this place. We will not return there and will not recommend it to anyone. The sea is 3 minutes away at a leisurely pace, this is of course a plus

Convenient location - the sea is a five-minute walk, 15 minutes to the market. There are many places around where you can eat and buy something. But you have to be prepared that you will take out the garbage from the room yourself, cleaning every 5 days, breakfast is very much for an amateur... The photos of the hall do not coincide with reality at all - sofas and armchairs are worn to holes. Smoking is allowed on shared balconies by the owners, so smoke and "small talk" of all hotel guests will be in your room if the windows overlook it.

We had a rest in early September in this guest house with children.I would like to mention Leonid separately(the owner of this establishment) Arrived at 4.40 am after a 12-hour drive and pretty quickly we were placed in our rooms. Thanks for that! Unfortunately, the rooms were never cleaned all the time, I personally had to wash the bathroom with bleach I bought, because mold on the walls and in the seams between the tiles was a dubious neighbor. With regard to breakfast, if you are a fan of porridge, then you will like it. You will not be offered an alternative. Electricity is turned off several times a day. Our room had a refrigerator, air conditioning, we had towels, but my brother and wife did not. In general, the hotel is a three-star, unfortunately!The price does not correspond to the quality of the services provided (or rather not provided).

Of course, you can include breakfast and a swimming pool in this list, but it probably becomes completely indifferent when the room is not a drop of comfort and dirty! Instead of blankets, plaids from a bike. And everything would be fine, but no duvet cover or sheets are attached to it. To warn everyone, I will say right away: This is room 26, on the second floor. There seemed to be a good review about him below🤨 Also, to our boundless happiness, the lights were turned off for three days, and this also turned off the water. And you know, it seems that the owners are not to blame for this (since this is a city), but there is a generator in the neighboring hotel, for example... And on the last one, I'll say: the room is far from cheap! For 3,700 a day, I expected to get something more decent!

He turned out to have a window to the stairwell, they asked to change it, but no one moved. No one has ever changed the bed linen (everything is dirty and stained)And the worst part was it was very, very noisy from the uninterruptible equipment that worked day and night..The accommodation included breakfast, which was prepared by the hostess, but they leave much to be desired.
