In short, the background. We became a victim of an unscrupulous developer, to whom the Istanbul real estate agency led us. At that time, the agency was named "Rest Property", although they were only connected to the original Rest Property (head office in Alanya) by a franchise agreement. Now this agency is called Reptur. As far as we know, Rest Property has ended its relationship with him.
So, in this Reptur, the worst thing that could happen to a foreign buyer of real estate in Turkey happened to us. And in the end, they just turned away from us and left us to deal with a fraudulent developer one-on-one.
We have contacted the CEO of Rest Property, Nihat Tufan, with a request to intervene in the situation. He did not hesitate for a minute to provide his lawyer and took on all legal expenses. Although the Istanbul agency is formally an independent legal entity, it was supposed to do all this. But its owner, CANSIN ALBAYRAK, flatly refused even his partner.

He won our case at the very first court hearing and secured the execution of the judgment as soon as possible. It is customary to frighten foreigners with long trials in Turkey, which do not always tend to side with foreigners. But in our experience, a lot depends on the lawyer. All this time, we were constantly in touch with the managing director Marina Yenilmez, we felt sincere care and participation from Rest Property.
The saying in the title of the post applies to both client and partner relationships. In regular situations, all agencies and all partners are equally good. And only when a problem arises do we find out who is worth what.

Reading the negative reviews about this company, I can only draw one conclusion: they are left by people who initially planned to circumvent the commission, deceive agents or blackmail to achieve some additional conditions for themselves. Restproperty is the only agency that does not abandon its clients and fights for their rights in difficult situations. Those who have encountered other agencies know how they disappear from the market, change their names, or simply liquidate their businesses.
My dear restproperties, successful companies always face unreasonable criticism, but it's not worth wasting time on them. You should focus on your loyal customers who value your honesty, professionalism, and high level of service. By the way, after-sales service is what makes your company especially unique! To this day, it saves me a lot of trouble and worries and solves all my issues related to the management company of the complex in which I purchased real estate.
