A gorgeous place, a must-visit. Very beautiful nature, a variety of birds, elephants and monkeys, as well as crocodiles basking in the sun. Movement is possible only by jeep with a guide, which is very important, since the area is open. It is recommended to arrive in the late afternoon, when the heat subsides and the animals come out of their shelters. It will be too hot in the middle of the day and you will not see such a variety of animals.
I really liked the park!
I am very glad that we went and watched!
Since everyone travels in jeeps, roads are one of the important aspects of the tour, so the roads there are smooth, without bumps and pits. On the way back, we saw a road car doing the filling, well done!
But what about the reserve itself?
Everything is fine, we saw mongoose, elephants in different places. One group of elephants was with a cub, and we were waiting for them (us) when this group crossed the road. We saw Sri Lankan roosters, the symbol of Sri Lanka, a very beautiful bird with large spurs. Different eagles and falcons, various storks, peacocks, small beautiful birds and birds, monitor lizards, and swimming crocodiles. A very picturesque lake with dry trees and a huge number of birds, and of course monkeys are not scared and always hungry)!
The best time to visit is from the earliest opening of the park or before sunset!!!
Great hotel! Sri lanka ❤
I would recommend it to surf lovers. If you just splash in the ocean- I'm afraid that because of the waves- it's unlikely to work
