I will focus on the same problems of all airports in Kazakhstan, these are terrible toilets... I do not understand how it is possible to use the cheapest materials (plumbing, tiles, cabin facades, etc.) when repairing an airport, this is not just the face of the city, for incoming and outgoing guests, this is basically hygiene... I went in, and there was an incredible stench, faucets dangling, dirt in the toilets... the airport management should be ashamed. We bought benches in the waiting room, and you can immediately see that we bought the cheapest... it is more or less normal in the common rooms and during the inspection.

There are few seats in the waiting room. There are not enough seats for everyone on a large plane. Waiting for departure standing up.
The cafe in the waiting room is stingy. There is no natural coffee. There is also no trash for cups. There is no cleaning service. You sit down at the table among the used cups and napkins.
In winter, the heating is poor. My feet are freezing from the floor. To fly to warmer countries, you will not be able to undress in the building and give away your clothes.
The smoking area was also removed before departure. After 2-3 hours of waiting for boarding, there is nowhere to satisfy nicotine addiction.
The arrival hall is in the next building. All the equipment is old and tired. The toilet is shared and there is one. I have to stand in line.

It does not reach the status of "International airport", from the word at all. There is no arrivals lounge as such. You simply have to wait for arrivals on the street. Given the local climate in winter, it is a serious problem to expect arrivals in the cold and wind. There is practically no service in the departure hall, I did not find any coffee or other places to eat or drink. But there are services for wrapping suitcases with film, well, without that! There is not a single scoreboard with flight schedules, nor any voice announcements about the status of flights. In fact, it does not even compare with the simplest railway station in any rural railway station. In general, one name... Disgusting. The management should reconsider their attitude to work and at least once look at real airports, even small cities in neighboring countries. To compare and do at least something close to the status of "International Airport"

All four check-in counters don't even have the numbers of the counters themselves, let alone the flight numbers. There is a crowd of people in front of them for flights to Moscow and Astana and no one can figure out who is going where. As a result, it turned out that the ones on the right are for Moscow. To write, at least by hand, a piece of information, apparently, was not smart enough. There is no flight board, no ATM, no WiFi. Kazakh service, in a word.

They are forced (they answered on the phone that it was 2 hours, otherwise they would not be allowed on the plane) to arrive 2 hours before departure, but it was really possible in 40 minutes.
