We were from 29/09 to 07/10/2024.
The village of Turunch itself left an extremely positive impression, which is not to say about the hotel.
The village is quiet and small, the main audience is British. All prices in the shops are in pounds. In Migros, they calmly accept euros and dollars, and the change is in lira.
Hotel. A maximum of 3 stars. Everything is very tired. Sea view is either a view of the bar or the roof. Good view only on the upper floors.
The beach is a part of a public beach plus a wooden platform. Everything on the shore is flooded with water. The sea is clean, there are convenient access ramps. On the third day, we accidentally swam to Amos Beach and did not go to the hotel beach again. Amos is a fairy tale- the boat departs at 10 a.m. and takes you back at 5 p.m. There are no people, it's beautiful, the day flies by unnoticed.
Restaurant+bar. I tried wine in a restaurant, but I can't drink it. I tried the wine at the bar, the same way. Wine was bought in Migros all the days. The breakfast is ordinary, meager. Every day closer to the end of the race (ours was the last one of the season), there wasn't even an omelet once or twice. By the end, there was nothing meaty either. Most likely, because the day after our departure, the hotel closed for winter holidays.
The audience. Russians and Poles. Generally tolerable.
In the village, the audience is 80% British. There are few Russians and Poles, locals, and once we met 404s.
Conclusion. The settlement is definitely yes, especially with trips to Amos. The hotel is absolutely not.
Score 3***, only for the beautiful Turunchus + Amos., so it would be less.
Great hotel, everything is great. The rooms are clean and cozy. The service of the staff is at the highest level. The food was delicious, there were a lot of fruits and sweets. There is a private beach not far from the hotel. The sea is clear, clear water, but a little cool. We were in the middle of September. We were very satisfied with everything, we would love to return there.
For your money, the hotel is simply stunning, the room has a gorgeous view of the bay, fairly spacious rooms and a bathroom. The furniture and the hotel as a whole are of course tired, but the cost is appropriate. Very friendly staff at the reception. Cleaning and change of towels daily. The food is very simple and varied, but delicious. Only beer is tolerable from alcohol, the wine is disgusting, of dubious production and quality (poured from huge bottles without labels). Juices from the vending machine are chemical, there is also no natural coffee. There are few fruits. But the sea is 3-5 minutes away on foot, the cleanest sea, even locals come here from Marmaris to swim. The hotel has its own beach, but we went to the paid one, the only difference is in the service and convenience of the sun loungers. If the budget is limited, a hotel beach is quite suitable. WiFi works intermittently, almost no fishing on the beach. If you chose Turunch for your vacation, you were not mistaken. I am in love with this very pleasant, small, cozy town with an absolutely amazing atmosphere. I want to come back here. The hotel did not spoil the impression of this town at all.
