It's a very nice museum! There are many exhibits. And antique jugs and beautiful mosaics and many other things.A very good museum!Be sure to visit this wonderful museum!
The museum on the fourth floor. It seems that everything of value was taken to another place (they say, to Georgia). But solutions with mosaics and city plans are interesting. Although all this was done in the USSR, and since then it would be possible to do something more modern, interactive, and more visual. And there are not many exhibits, given the long history of the area with the Romans, Turks, and the Abkhazian kingdom.
The most interesting thing in the museum is the 10th century temple. I got into a funny situation in the museum building itself . At some point, the lights were turned off and the door was bolted from the inside . And they left through the other door and locked it . He came out after a while , opening the bolt . I went to the gate through which I entered , and they were also closed . The time was 13:45. I don't know how long they're open, but I think if they close , it's at 2 p.m. But it looks like they were in a hurry) But they didn't stop me from watching, I went back and watched everything with a flashlight) then I climbed over a small fence from the other side and left the territory.
