It deserves attention. I don't think there are many attractions in Corfu to miss this place. I lacked some sophistication in the setting, it was still a royal residence, although it was more like a summer cottage :) but in general, the place is pleasant, especially liked in the garden.
The Achilleon Palace makes an impression and certainly deserves the attention of every guest of Corfu. As you know, the palace was built at the end of the 19th century for Empress Elizabeth of Austria–Hungary, the well-known Sissi. The exhibits of the museum and the entire palace complex, including the Achilleon Gardens, are certainly interesting.…
"Achilleon Palace is the pearl of Corfu" is written on every website about Corfu and in every travel guide... I don't know about the "pearl", but the palace really makes an impression and certainly deserves the attention of every guest of Corfu... As everyone knows, the palace was built at the end of the XIX century for Empress Elizabeth of Austria-Hungary, she is also known to everyone as Sissi... Her fate is sad, in fact, as is the fate of the palace before, during and after the two world wars... Now the Palace is a very good Greek historical museum
