Everything seems to be clear
But after 17 they could not cross to Samet, they rented a hotel nearby until the morning.
Ferry, fast boat to choose from
We went to Koh Samet from this pier. There is a market there, they sell products made of shells, beads, bracelets... And dried fish, squid, dried fruit. There is a cafe, but we didn't order anything. There is a paid toilet. Ferry tickets were taken at the ticket office. There are inscriptions in English, what, when and how much it costs. There is an option with a speedboat and a regular ferry (a small boat). We took on a regular one. You can immediately buy a round trip. 120 baht. Return ticket with an open date. That is, when you need it, then you use it. The cashier also gave us a piece of paper with a printed schedule of what time the ferries run. The way to the island took about 30 minutes. Everything is fine.
There is a small clothing market nearby, the pier itself is a little tired, but quite nothing. We went to the island, everything is quite organized, and the Thais know their business.
Everything is very simple. Boats go from here to Samet, this is the most important thing. There is everything you need:toilets, coffee shop, cash registers. It's very utilitarian, but by and large nothing else is needed.
An ordinary marina, old and tired, but it fulfills its functionality. You can expect it under a canopy, which will protect you from the sun's rays. You can also buy soft drinks and fruits there.
