The hotel is 5 minutes from old Baku. Location, mattress on the bed, excellent breakfasts-6 stars out of five. The guys at the reception speak excellent Russian and are ready to help with any issue. Wonderful Sevda will give you amazingly delicious food. Water was put in the room every day, there is a kettle, cups, tea bags.
And then about the cons: we had two rooms. One with windows facing the street-you can't dream of a normal sleep. Festivities, laughter, and the roar of cars until morning. The second room has a window to the courtyard, above the breakfast cafe. Doors have been slamming since 7 a.m. and the same loud conversations have been going on. The audibility in the hotel is like the walls are made of cardboard. There's black hair everywhere in the room and on the towels. Towels are in such a condition that they are only used for rags. Worn, with holes, fringed at the edges, with threads sticking out. The bed linen is also not in the best condition. It is impossible to take a shower properly-there is not really a partition between the toilet and the shower. You press against the wall, you step into a puddle. The faucets are horribly stained. The bathroom in our room periodically had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke. There is either perfume or household chemicals in the room, it is very persistent and strong. Even upon arrival and after washing, it did not completely fade.
In general, if you are ready to turn a blind eye to everyday nuances, then the location and breakfasts are beyond praise.
If the quality of towels, the cleanliness of faucets, the ability to take a shower without squeezing in, and silence are important to you, then this is not your option.
A wonderful hotel in the very center, next to Fountain Square. Icheri Sheher is a 5-minute walk away.
Wonderful staff at the reception, they speak Russian. They try to help in all matters!
A very sincere female chef! She speaks several languages and prepares delicious and varied breakfasts. It was very interesting to listen to her stories over breakfast)
Room cleaning every day, towel change, water, tea...
If we come to Baku again, we will choose the same place!
Super hotel, super staff. In the very center of old Baku. Everything is nearby, within walking distance. I'm in an old house with high ceilings. Next time in Baku, I will stay here, of course.
We had a rest in Baku in September 2024 . The hotel is amazing. The soul of the hotel is Sevda (Seva). Very tasty breakfasts. Seva is a polyglot, speaks several languages well. She knows the culture of her people perfectly well , and you can listen to how she tells about the history of Baku .
The rooms are clean, timely cleaning. The staff at the reception is friendly. All we needed was a balcony where we could drink coffee, smoke and watch the idle life of the evening city.)
We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in April.
Positive:
-location
- nice room and bathroom
-friendly staff. Olesya and Sevda, greetings from Moscow!
Cons:
-torn underwear
- the windows of the room faced a busy street. You could only sleep with earplugs.
Everything is wonderful, we met, settled in, breakfast in the morning, very tasty. The staff is wonderful, very helpful, thank you very much. We recommend, a stone's throw from the city center, fountain Square. Success and prosperity to the team. Greetings from Minsk.
A small but cozy boutique hotel! 7 minutes walk from the Old Town.
You can bring guests, but for an additional fee, and it doesn't matter for 5 minutes or 3 hours. Horror
Buffet breakfast, fresh and varied every day!
The staff is friendly.
I asked for thread and a needle, but they didn't find it in 2 days. Poverty!
The hotel is clean, cleaned every day, water, paper, towel, soap are changed on demand. Russian-speaking administrators will help and prompt everyone. The food is excellent - the hostess Seva is the pearl of this hotel.
I liked everything: location, food, cost.
I don't know who writes good reviews. Dirty bed linen. A smoky room with a wet carpet in the footprints of previous guests. Black hair on a towel? Of course there is! The hair of some blonde in the bed is all in place! Hair in a towel, traces of food on the duvet cover are not washed. Dirty walls by default. The toilet lid that always closes itself, no matter what you do! BUT the highlight is the set on fire sheet along with the mattress and for some reason the holes on the sheet and mattress came together!! If the linen was changed in front of us, how is this so? About the room that was offered to us instead of extending the room (50 manat at the price for a day of a normal room size for 80) I'm not talking at all. A FLOPHOUSE.
A beautiful hotel!!! Polite staff! Everyone is trying to do what's best for you! An adequate price tag. The location is just great. The hotel is very clean! Well done guys!
Good-natured staff, helpful guys, the dining room is just like at home, the hostess is very polite, she approaches every client, is interested in what else to treat, and she does it in Azerbaijani, in Russian, in English, just great, thanks a lot guys
This is the very center, two steps to the fountain square, the old town, the embankment. Very friendly hosts, a pleasant overview of the city at the meeting, if you order a transfer.
