The rest was on 07/25/2024-08/05/2024. A great hotel for reasonable money! There is everything you need! The location is just super, the sea is one step away, the bus stop is close, the embankment too. The hotel itself is clean, the room has a bathroom, refrigerator, air conditioning, TV with lots of channels, excellent Wi-Fi. We had a room on the ground floor.Everything is clean, there is a kettle and a microwave on the floor, there is also an ironing board with an iron. And what kind of girls work there will always help and come to the rescue. I just want to tell those who don't like something, so they can't relax, they can only be rude and say what a bad hotel.

I had a rest at the Morskaya Hotel. The location is great. The sea is a stone's throw away and a bunch of shops are a minute's walk away.Clean, the area is very well maintained. The rooms are small and the furniture is a little worn out, but the views and cleanliness are high.they clean it every day.The administrators of Ale and Shamid are just super. They will always tell you everything, tell you and help you. You can also buy water from them right away. The girls are great just because of them and I want to come back. I was satisfied with the rest. Next year we will come in a big company.

The room is not big, but everything is there. The location is 70 steps to the sea, 100 steps to the store. The territory is excellent, there is a place to relax in the evening. One of the advantages is a good area of Gagra, everything you need is nearby - shops, a beach, a stop from which you can get where you need to, even a dining room (so, for three +). You can always buy drinking water at the reception.
The disadvantages are dirt... The walls in the room are all stained with grease. They have not been cleaned once in 12 days. Towels (one of the three) were replaced once, on the 5th or 6th day. The furniture is old, it breaks down from one careless turn (our bed just broke at night - the plank holding the mattress fell off. We fixed it up as best we could to live the remaining 3 days). We lived on the 2nd floor, there is a gazebo where everyone smokes and drinks at night. It was lucky that our room was at the other end of the building, otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep. Very often there is no light, respectively, there is no water... One or two microwaves and a kettle are in the hallway on the floor. They always took out the garbage themselves (well, at least the container is right in front of the entrance to the guest house). The maid was a Russian woman, it was possible to find out something from her, but she appeared once every 3-4 days.
In the room there is an old Smolensk, a small fat TV on it, a condom. A small wardrobe, two single beds, a bedside table, 2 chairs and a small table. The place is small... Balconies are only in threesomes. The laundry had to be dried on the balcony, which was in the corridor. There is very little space there.

The hotel is located very close to the sea. Since the hotel does not provide meals, a very big plus is that there is a dining room two steps away, where there is a good selection of dishes. There is a green courtyard on the territory of the hotel where you can sit in the shade of trees. That's all of the advantages. The room has minimalism, there are two bedside tables, a refrigerator, a TV, a sooo small bathroom combined with a tiny shower. There is one kettle on the floor (for ten rooms!!!) and microwave. We really missed the kitchen, where we could sometimes cook something for ourselves.

Probably better than a review, it would be to say that I rested at the Morskaya four times and plan to come to this wonderful place for the fifth time as well) But still, I would like to say a few words about the hotel. My acquaintance with Abkhazia began 3 years ago with a not very good location of housing in Sukhumi, so I prepared very carefully for the next trip. My choice fell on the "Marine" because it met all the selected criteria: room stock, infrastructure, beach.
Hotel. The rooms are very comfortably and modernly furnished, the views are simply stunning, for me every time it becomes a dilemma which room to choose, with a view of the sea or the mountains, the landscapes are fascinating on both sides) The room has everything you need, refrigerator, TV, air conditioning, dishes, hairdryer, towels. A microwave oven, kettle, ironing board, iron are available on the floor.
The cozy courtyard is a special place where it is very pleasant to sit with a cup of coffee at a table in the shade of exotic trees and shrubs, everything is very cozy and tasteful.
Beach. Half a minute walk from the "Marine". A wide coastline, small and large pebbles, it is quite convenient to lie on the litter. For those who prefer sun beds and umbrellas, everything is also available for rental.
Infrastructure. Within walking distance are two canteens, cafes, kiosks with national cuisine, a burger joint, grocery and clothing stores, a pharmacy, a transport stop, souvenir shops, stalls with excursions, a Ferris wheel and other entertainment within a 5-minute walk.
In general, this is the embodiment of all your wishes in order for your vacation to become measured, calm and memorable)

We were at the end of July, I liked it.
For such a price, two steps from the sea, on the other hand, the city is right away - shops, a pharmacy, a cafe are nearby; there is almost everything you need in the room (a kettle, however, on the floor), drinking water can be taken at the reception - in general it is wonderful. Hello everyone! I rested at the Morskaya hotel from 09/14/2024 to 09/23/2024. Emotions are overwhelming... The rooms are tiny (a mink for a hamster), the bathroom is so small that I put one foot up, the other has nowhere to go. There is dampness and mold everywhere. It's time to dispose of the furniture, I opened the closet and immediately closed it with a terrible stench (probably a hamster died) things were lying on the next bed all the rest. Bed linen and towels resemble rags. There is no washing machine for guests (there is a basin...) But!!! Separately, I want to note why 100% of the hotel's guests are struck by some mysterious acclimatization: along the border of the land plot on which the hotel is located there is a sewer (I think sewage is drained there not only by the Sea) which flows into the sea right on the beach! There is no septic tank on site! Yes, the sea is close, but the stench from the sewer does not go anywhere! I have vacationed in Abkhazia many times and have never had any health problems, this year I am very disappointed....

I bought a ticket to the Morskaya hotel completely by accident. The tour was on fire and I paid for it 5 minutes before the closing of the travel agency, and at 9.00 in the morning I had to be with my things near the bus. There was absolutely no time to view the hotel and reviews, so after packing up, we set off on our journey in the morning with the child. We arrived in Gagra on July 10, 2024 at 10 a.m. and we had only 10 days to rest. Two girls Elvira and Hamida met us at the hotel, and since the check-in was after 12.00, we were offered to leave our things, change clothes and take a walk by the sea. When we returned back, the room was already ready. Clean bed linen, TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, wardrobe, table and bathroom-"baby". The Wi-Fi was working properly and there was always hot water. We lived on the 2nd floor without a balcony, but with a large veranda. There was a clothes dryer, an ironing board with an iron, and a microwave on the floor. Linen and towels were changed on demand. The location of the hotel is very convenient, 2 minutes walk to the beach. The sea was just magical, warm, clean and very calm. It rained 1 time all the time. The veranda had a beautiful view of the mountains. On the beach we took 2 sun beds and an umbrella. The price is 500 rubles for the whole day. Pharmacy, canteen and shops are all nearby. Special thanks to Elvira, the administrator. My child caught rotavirus on day 2. I was vomiting all day, and by evening I turned to Elya with a request to call an ambulance. It's a very long time, she said, and putting aside all her business, she called a taxi and went with us to the hospital. After the IV, it became much easier and it was possible to rest further. Thank you girls for your attention and support. We also took a trip to Tkuarchal at the hotel. We liked it very much. A whole day in the mountains and waterfalls. Yes, we took out the garbage ourselves and cleaned the room ourselves and I didn't see anything terrible in it, but the emotions that we received on vacation, they will stay with us for a long time. It's already September in the yard, and we remember our vacation and you girls with warmth in our hearts!

We rested from 30.08.2024 to 11.09.2024 . I'll start the story with a room , on the second floor there are 25 three-seater . The bed linen is disgusting, the mattress has already outlived its service life with a piece of foam rubber on top of the mattress without a cover. The bathroom sink is small and chipped. The shower place, it cannot be called anything else , is very small in the vicinity of the toilet. A decanter and three glasses were provided in the room , when we saw them we were horrified they were dirty and not washed after the guests left , we had to wash them ourselves . The electricity was periodically turned off, as a result, something burned out and an electrician did half a day in the room after his work, no one came and cleaned it. Until that moment , the girl had a phrase that she was an administrator , not a cleaner . Well , the question arises , we were already uncomfortable with an outsider in the room , so we had to clean up the garbage ourselves . And you have to take out the garbage from the rooms yourself , I have not seen this in any hotel. You have to change the bed yourself , you took it off , you got another one , you put it on .... This is something that has never been cleaned in 12 nights . The towels that give out are terrible, they look like a floor rag. There is no washing machine for guests , there is a basin on the floor. That's why I have to wash in this basin after who knows who. On the second floor there is a veranda where you can sit and relax, smokers smoke there and ashtrays are constantly not cleaned with cigarette butts . There are benches and tables on the territory of the hotel , everything is green and blooming beautifully , but there is such a moment that the service staff always sits at one table in a very convenient place . Benches painted with cheap green paint , it seems to have dried up , but after I sat on the benches , the paint remained on my feet. The friendly girls helped with waiting for the train, for a separate surcharge. A huge plus of this hotel is the sea nearby. We will not go to Gagra and Abkhazia itself , yes, the sea is clear , it is beautiful, BUT I do not want to sit on the toilet for 9 days in 12 days. My husband even went to do IVs , as we were told there was air conditioning and taxification , but we have a suspicion that this is the water that they sell drinking in the hotel . Her friends , as we later learned , did not drink and everything went well for them in one day .

We vacationed in the Sea in July 2024, the room was an attic with a sea view. The floors are wooden only on the 4th floor, the rest are tiled, not to say that the cleanliness is perfect, but overall it is clean. In the room: air conditioning,refrigerator ,bathroom. Nice hotel. Attentive staff, according to the stories of friends, but my husband and I rested in a mini-hotel opposite, at the address Brothers Dzyapsh ipa street, 8 at Ilona and Rush. A wonderful mini-hotel. The rooms are clean, comfortable, there is a TV, refrigerator, wardrobe, air conditioner everywhere in the room. The rooms are bright and comfortable. The rooms have a bathroom with a shower, toilet, hot water, hairdryer. There is a kitchen in the courtyard, you can cook yourself. Comfortable tables for eating or just drinking coffee. The sea is 15-20 meters away. We had a great rest.

A budget option (according to the administrator), there is no washing, no change of towels and bed linen.
The rooms are not cleaned, there is a broom and a dustpan-clean it yourself, take out the garbage yourself.
The mattresses have regular foam rubber. A small, combined toilet, a washbasin for the "cat". The TV and air conditioning did not work for some of the guests.
The sea is visible only from the third floor.
There is a sewage drain nearby, the light often disappears, however, as everywhere in Gagra. If there is nothing to compare it with, then maybe it's okay)

Nearby there is a river with terrible sewage smells. It feels both in the yard and on the beach!!! We arrived and checked into the standard for 3500 per night (through a tour operator). It was indicated that the room looks towards the mountains, in fact to the neighboring house to the southeast (mountains to the northeast). The sheets are stained, and a wet rag is lying in the bathroom and stinks strongly. They immediately asked to relocate us, moved into a "semi-suite" for 4500 (local price). On the trail of Denb, they asked for an additional 7,000 for 4 nights, allegedly with a discount. I asked to explain how the price is, I had to call the owner, she just yelled at me in response to the question and offered me to go back to the first room. I calmly reminded her that we are guests and you can't talk to us like that. But in general, it's okay for everyone there in Gagra to yell and snap at guests and customers, so in the end no one even apologized. She eventually began to explain and counted 4,500 herself. The next day she came to the room, said that she got confused in the conversation and demanded to pay up to 7000 anyway. This time she calmly adequately explained the cost, really 7000, I paid. When asked if we could change the trash bag and toilet paper, she suggested that I go down to them myself…
We have never had cleaning done. The linen is the cheapest it can be.
Later, we lived in Sukhum at the Dioskuria hotel for 4200 - we had our room cleaned every day, a normal clean room, linen, towels, bathrobes, etc. And here it's just obliralovo, and in Gagra I didn't see any other attitude - I don't advise anyone to go to this city and to this hotel.
I didn't take photos, it looks tolerable in the junior suite, but there are a lot of minor flaws and the most terrible thing is the attitude

Two weeks have passed since we returned from this spiritual country of Abkhazia! We lived in this hotel for 12 days, the rooms were declared with a "mountain view"))) in fact, there was a wall 3 meters away from the neighboring building. Well, it couldn't spoil our mood. The hotel is 4-storey. Friendly staff, well-groomed territory, which has several tables and chairs protected from the sun by two huge umbrellas and trees.She lived on the second floor and on the fourth.
Second floor, sea view, 3-bed room with a small balcony equipped with clotheslines, a small table and a chair. The view of the sea is blocked by the only forward-facing cafe building with a height of the second floor of the hotel.The floor is tiled, both in the room and in the corridor, which makes it feel slightly cool even in hot weather. We didn't even turn on the air conditioner. There is a cozy terrace with three tables on the floor.
Fourth floor, 2-bed attic room, without balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, magnificent sea view. The floors in the hallway and the room are wooden, they creak slightly. The air is like in a bathhouse, it's hard to breathe. The air conditioner was on all the time.
Will I go back there again if I rest in Gagra? Yes, I'll be back! I will only book a room on the second floor. The third floor also has tiles and the building in front no longer blocks the view of the sea, but there is no terrace.

Good afternoon. Not a bad hotel near the sea. It takes 2 minutes to walk to the sea. There are canteens and shopping malls nearby. The disadvantage is very good audibility in the rooms, especially in the bathrooms. Check-in and check-out are exactly on time at 12:00. If you arrive in the morning, you will have to walk until 12, or even until 13 until the room is cleaned. Perhaps this is due to the heavy workload of the rooms.

On August 4 , we checked in , everything was bought with two additional seats , an additional one. The seats were provided outrageously. Old cots, small mattresses from old large beds were thrown on them. On two additional ones. It was not possible to sleep in places. The children suffered all night. In the morning we told the receptionist, they gave us two rotten mattresses. That's how we sleep on them. They said they don't have mattresses anymore.
The lights turn off endlessly, we sit without light , air conditioning , Wi - Fi and most importantly - without water. After turning on the light, the water does not reach us for an hour. They know that the administration turns off the lights, they don't put any generators so that at least during the blackout people can rinse off after the sea.
My children and I walk after the sea, first waiting for 2 hours for the light to turn on, and then another hour for the water to turn on. Water and light disappear more than once a day .
All the conditions that were negotiated and bought for 4,000 rubles a day were not met at the Morskaya Guest house.

We arrived late in the evening, hungry, we were met by a very nice curly-haired receptionist, took us to the room. There were towels in the room, everything was cleaned, clean and tidy. She told me where there are places to eat.
We returned late, went straight to bed, at first we couldn't sleep for a long time because of some noise, then the electricity went out and we were able to fall asleep.
The room was on the 3rd floor, the most extreme. On the second day, it turned out that despite the good water pressure, warm (often only icy) water was coming down at best.
The second night was sleepless, the room was very noisy. The noise was either an old pump or something else, the earplugs that saved even in very difficult situations turned out to be powerless in front of this noise.
After talking with the administrator and inspecting the hotel, it became clear that this situation is inherent in all rooms, it was decided to contact the tour operator (travelata) for help to move to another possible hotel. (They told us to look for it ourselves)
If you exclude unbearable noise and cold water, then the hotel is not bad, but there are many cheaper and better hotels with warm water. We were very upset about this situation. We had to urgently look for a new hotel, we lost a lot of money.

I really liked it! We were in June 2021 with a child. 10 steps from the sea, the sound of the surf at night is fantastic. A very good Mannan administrator!
