The Monkey Forest is a must-visit place if you come to Bali, especially if you live near Ubud. The forest itself is not very large, you can get around in an hour and a half of a leisurely walk, stopping for constant photos and videos! In addition to a large number of monkeys, there are many beautiful architecture, statues, temples, and large perennial trees in the forest. But be careful, monkeys can be very aggressive, they can attack, steal glasses, phone, open a bag. But if you are careful not to get too close to them, do not touch them, do not smile broadly (monkeys perceive a smile and teeth as a grin and aggression), visiting this forest will leave only the most positive impressions and many beautiful photos to remember!
It's a good place to take a walk once. I wouldn't have gone to see the monkeys on purpose. I lived almost outside the fence of this park. Monkeys were constantly on our balcony. I advise you to put all your personal belongings away in the park. One of them managed to steal my glasses from my closed bag. She opened it quietly and quickly grabbed it. And strictly do not take any food with you! Otherwise, you risk being eaten with an apple/banana or whatever you take there. Despite the fact that they are well fed there, the monkeys are always hungry. And don't try to pet the cub! Mom is always there and you can't avoid a bite)
