A place of power!
Quiet, beautiful, sounds of water and forest, well-groomed territory, photogenic buildings
There are a lot of people in the summer, out of season - an ideal place for a leisurely walk
In 2023, the cells were fenced with an ugly solid fence made of profiled sheet, but the monastery cats like it even more.
The services on holidays in summer and early autumn gather a lot of parishioners, they cannot enter the temple. Out of season - exactly the opposite.
The road to the monastery is easy by car at any time of the year, but if you are here early in the morning, take a walk from the highway, the rocky gorge itself is very beautiful, shady and cool.
You can park at the end of the road.

The "green" monastery is a special place. This monastery was so dubbed by the locals, because of the abundance of greenery and trees around. A must-have room, especially for those interested in the history of ancient centuries. The monastery of the 9th century has a tragic history, which arouses the interest of pilgrims from all over the world🙏🏻🇬🇪
