The hotel fully complies with the stated stars. Excellent large rooms with modern renovation. The room is cleaned every day. I liked the breakfast. The location of the hotel is excellent, everything is within walking distance. The only negative for those who are light sleepers is to take a room not in the city, but in the courtyard. It's very noisy even with the windows closed, despite the fact that the hotel is located in an alley of a small street.

I really liked the hotel. In the very center of the city of Batumi. Spacious room with panoramic windows. You need to take a high floor with a view of THE CITY!!! Then you won't regret it. Breakfast is included in the price. Decent, believe me, you won't stay hungry. The staff is very courteous, both at reception and when cleaning the room.(during the week, we cleaned 3 times, changed slippers and 2 dressing gowns 3 times.

Excellent hotel in the center of old Batumi, all the sights are within walking distance. A decent four, a SPA was also announced, but did not have time to try it out. The breakfast is good, there is always something to choose from and there was always delicious fruit. Great view from the balcony, it is comfortable and pleasant to sit there at a table and admire. Room cleaning is normal, everything is fine in the room itself (standard), a couple of nuances are uncritical - one of the metal poles is broken on the shelf in the bathroom and the door was closing heavily on the balcony. And so everything is OK! I recommend it and if I'm still passing through, I'll probably choose the same option.

We rested here from 08.09-12.09, a double standard room, we got a bathroom instead of a shower, with a large balcony. In general, the hotel is pleasant, delicious breakfasts, courteous staff with knowledge of Russian / English, there is a spa (one steam room, shower, a place to relax). There is a terrace, but we haven't been there. Within walking distance is a beautiful square, our favorite restaurant is the Heart of Batumi (I advise you to visit), the sea is a 10-minute walk away. If you go the other way from the sea, you will find a whole street of exchangers where it is more profitable to change rubles for lari than in Russia (at the time of the visit 34 rubles / lari). The location of the hotel is very convenient. Of the cons: the bath is of course beautiful, but the floor was completely wet, and since the bathroom is combined, after taking a bath you either need to wipe the floor (which resets the washing process, and does not add mood) or slap on the wet floor to go to the toilet. In addition, on the last day we had a flood: the cleaner moved the tub during the cleaning process and, as we later saw, the drain hose, which was not fixed, popped out and all the water poured onto the floor, we had to clean up during the washing process and put this very hose in place. We also went to the spa twice and both times there was no shampoo/soap in the shower, there were no towels to put them on the leather sunbeds, water/tea. On the first visit, the steam room was so cold that we had to wait 40 minutes and bask in the shower (they told us about visiting the spa half an hour before and invited us, saying that everything was ready). On the second visit, they already took shampoo gels, towels and water from the room with them, and the vaping was much more comfortable)) Also, under the windows of the room (3rd floor), every night you could hear garbage collectors turning over garbage cans, barking dogs, screams of people leaving the casino - they slept in earplugs. Despite the small disadvantages (which are easy to fix), we liked the hotel, left it in our notes and would probably stay in it again)

Positive: Close location to the old town and all the sights. Good breakfasts. Nice interior. Minuses: The accessories include disposable slippers, a bar of soap, shower gel and shampoo (it seems that everything was poured from the same jar, because the texture and smell are identical). There is no dental kit. There is no shoe spoon. There is no shoe sponge. The hair dryer in the photo is not a design feature, it's coming apart at the seams. I have not seen this even in the cheapest hotels. The towels are torn. The carpet is stained. There was hair from previous visitors and the remains of sunflower seeds on the floor. The hotel staff does not speak Russian in principle (although not all of them do - they do not speak at the reception, but the maids speak very confidently). Audibility from the next room is maximum. At 2 a.m., a neighbor returned with a lady of low social responsibility. Everything that was happening could be heard as if they were a meter away. I couldn't sleep. We understood that the neighbor also wanted to relax, but what started after... Very loud dialogues. There were screams, laughter, and the whole range of noisy stays. It all lasted about an hour. I called the reception desk and explained that we understood everything, but it was impossible to sleep. I was only told "ok". As a result, no one from the reception began to calm the raging neighbor. The holiday lady left, but the show continued... the neighbor talked loudly on the phone with someone until 4 a.m. and watched TV until 6 a.m. We couldn't sleep. For the first time in my life, I called the reception with a request to sort out the incident somehow, because we are also people and we need to get some sleep. But it seems that for the staff of the Monarch hotel, Russians are not people and can be tolerated. By the way, the neighbor was Turkish. We paid 127 euros for two nights. It's not budget friendly and you can find a much more comfortable hotel with a loyal attitude towards people with a Russian passport.

Upon arrival, there were only slippers and soap in the room. We went down to the reception, explained that there was nothing, after returning there were bathrobes and toiletries. There is no sound insulation at all, absolutely everything is audible. Water flows from the shower into the bathroom, hooks for towels and linen hang in the shower stall. Under the star, the bed linen smelled of cigarettes. Very small parking for cars. They cleaned every day, but the toiletries were not supplemented. The administration spoke in Russian.

Good breakfast, comfortable rooms and high-quality cleaning. Especially pleased with the bar on the 8th floor, the view is stunning and delicious cocktails. There was no smell in the toilet, but the sound insulation suffers.

Excellent location and beautiful view from the window on the 5th floor, this is where the advantages end. A mediocre breakfast, 2 mattresses pushed together on 1 bed, which are constantly moving apart, there were no toiletries except a bar of soap and slippers. I will definitely not choose this hotel on my next visit. They didn't even say hello at the reception upon arrival.
