Very polite and nice hotel owner, tries to help in everything. The hotel is ideally located within walking distance to the central square. It's not a bad breakfast in the morning, especially if you like sweets, it's a little specific, but not critical.
But there are many nuances.:
1. Cellophane mattresses, a sliding cape on top, and slippery old bed linen with stains. I don't understand how you can keep mattresses in cellophane. They rustle eerily all night with every movement. The laundry slips off the slippery mattress pad and you don't wake up on a fresh mattress pad. The beds are the cheapest and wobble with a creak.
2. Early in the morning, prayer is going on very loudly in the mosque nearby, after the prayer the roosters are crowing, then other residents of the hotel are knocking on the doors. There is no sound insulation in the hotel, the doors are so simple that they do not absorb noise at all.
3. The towels are all old, yellowed, and need to be replaced urgently, and they cannot be offered at the hotel.
4. The rooms are small, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, and odors escape into the room.
In general, we did not manage to sleep comfortably, and this is bad. The main thing for people in the hotel should be a comfortable sleep on high-quality orthopedic mattresses and, of course, on clean linen..

The best hotel in Samarkand! Excellent location. Gur and Emir are nearby. You can take a walk in the evening. Registan is 10-15 minutes away on foot. The hosts are very hospitable. It felt like we were visiting relatives. Delicious and varied breakfasts. Stay at this hotel and feel all the hospitality of Uzbekistan.

A gorgeous place! I am delighted with everything! We met, posted, answered all questions, always helped! A great breakfast! The room is beyond praise! There is everything in the room and even the Wi-Fi code is glued! This is just nonsense)))) for Uzbekistan. I am very happy! And most importantly, Tamerlane's mausoleum is nearby! The park, and indeed everything is within walking distance!!!!! If it were possible, I would put 10!!!

The location is excellent, walking distance to Registan.
The Timurid mausoleum is nearby.
Wonderful breakfast in the morning - thanks to the host and his wife.

A small private hotel with 7 rooms. The rooms are small, but there is everything you need: air conditioning, bathroom, hairdryer, refrigerator, TV. The mattresses are hard, unusual for us. The cooler is on the floor. Very clean. Excellent breakfasts. I would especially like to say about the owners: friendly, caring, responsive. And, of course, a great location.

Cozy family hotel 200 meters from Gur-Amir, Timur's tomb! Wonderful, hospitable hosts, delicious breakfasts, natural bed linen. The room was a little small, but with a refrigerator. Everything is beautifully decorated with old photographs of Samarkand, ceramics and textiles in the national style.

Very nice guest house. Comfortable beds and pillows, good linen. A varied breakfast. There is a cooler with cold and hot water. They always meet us halfway:breakfast early, check in early, leave things. They work with love. I will come again and advise my friends.

We stayed with a group for two nights at the Mohina Guest house. It is located next to the burial of Amir Timur. All attractions are within walking distance. The hosts are very polite, hospitable, kind. Good breakfast at home in the morning. The rooms are clean.If I come to Samarkand, I know where I will stay. I recommend this option, you will not regret it.
