We have a very beautiful railway station in Minsk.I take the train to Mosty and back every week. The station building is very clean, warm, and cozy. There are enough shops and kiosks.Buy fruits, snacks for the road, and some souvenirs.Beautifully decorated photo zones for each holiday. Thanks to the staff for taking care of the large indoor plants. They look very decent. There are no queues at the ticket offices.
Minsk Railway Station leaves a pleasant impression due to its modern appearance and thoughtful infrastructure. After a large-scale reconstruction, it has become not only a key transport hub, but also an architectural landmark, where elements of historical buildings and modern design harmoniously combine.
**Advantages:**
1. **Infrastructure:** The station is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable waiting. There are spacious waiting rooms, luggage storage, clean toilets (paid and free), as well as many cafes and shops. Special attention should be paid to the food court with a diverse selection of dishes.
2. **Accessibility:** Elevators, escalators and ramps are provided for the convenience of passengers, which makes the station accessible to people with disabilities and travelers with heavy luggage.
3. **Transport connection:** The station is located in the city center, near the Lenin Square metro station, bus and trolleybus stops. There is parking for cars.
4. **Information and Service:** Electronic timetable boards, clear signs, and voice announcements in multiple languages help you navigate. The staff is polite, some staff speak English.
5.**Cleanliness and safety:** The rooms are kept in perfect order, bright lighting creates a sense of security even at a late hour. Free Wi-Fi is available on site.
**Disadvantages:**
- During rush hours (especially in the morning and evening), the train station can be crowded, which creates fuss and noise.
- The queues at the ticket offices and at the security check are sometimes prolonged.
- Not all cafes offer affordable prices.
**The result:** Minsk Railway Station is an exemplary example of a modern transport hub. The needs of a wide variety of passengers are taken into account here, and the level of service meets European standards. Despite minor flaws, this is one of the most convenient and pleasant train stations from which a journey through Belarus begins or ends. I recommend arriving in advance to appreciate its atmosphere and enjoy the comfort!
The railway station is the face of the city. Minsk Railway Station confirms and complies with this. Cleanliness, space, flowers everywhere. There are many cafes, exchange offices (everything for a comfortable stay). Large information boards, convenient exits to the platforms. Lots of escalators+ elevator. The toilets are clean, but they are paid for. The tiles are laid flat near the train station, and there are beautiful flower beds. There are no security checks or metal detectors. This is the only train station I've seen in my conscious 45 years. I definitely recommend both the train station and Minsk itself.
Positive: 1]It is possible around the clock to buy products such as bread, loaf, sausages in dough with coffee 2] Until 21-22:00 you can buy necessary medicines for relatives at the pharmacy 3]The presence of 2 metro lines nearby (Moskovskaya and Zelenoluzhskaya lines) makes the Minsk-Passazhirsky station an advantageous terminus of electric trains"Orsha-Minsk" and "Borisov-Minsk" 4]The presence of a large network of underpasses connected to the underpasses of the Minsk metro can reduce the risk of pedestrians entering the roadway from Kirova and Druzhnaya + streets onto the railway track 5]The ability to pay by bank card not only for train or train tickets, but also and in cafes, grocery stores in the railway station building 6]The presence of travelators allows you to come from the waiting room on the 3rd floor to the boarding platforms 2,3,4 7]You can buy cheap fresh cucumbers and tomatoes all year round Cons: 1)The Belarusbank information kiosk has not yet been installed next to the ticket vending machines for trains with round-the-clock access. 2)Belarusian-made chips in 200g cost almost 5 rubles - the difference between the Eurotorg LLC chain and convenience stores in the underground floor sometimes exceeds 1.5 Belarusian rubles
It's a wonderful place! I am proud of our train station! Clean, convenient for passengers! Thank YOU so much to everyone involved!!!
It's a pity that there are no seats on the ground floor (there used to be). After all, to meet guests from Moscow (trains usually arrive on the 1st track)It's not just the young who come, but also us- those over 60! Sometimes it's hard, but let's go! And there's nowhere to sit while we wait for the train. Maybe, after all, you can put convenience in the priority, not beauty?
Everything is fine, clean and tidy, the staff are competent, polite, friendly, responsive.
I would especially like to mention the employees of the storage room, who returned home to Vitebsk region on March 4, 2025, and left their belongings in the storage room from 13:00 to 17:00. We are very grateful to the staff for their cultured, courteous service and smiling staff. Thanks!
A historical place. Beautiful, converted to modern technology. It is convenient to get there by public and private transport. There is parking, but there are not enough places. Since there is a shopping center and other shopping places near the train station, it is simply difficult to find a place to park. For those waiting for the train, there are places to wait and relax, as well as a snack. In general, the station is decent
It's a wonderful train station, clean and bright, you can sit, charge your phone, and have a snack.
The only thing that upset me was the toilet. It's paid, not very clean, and it's not very conveniently located either.
I prefer to use the toilet of the shopping center nearby (towards the bus station) during business hours, it is much cleaner and more comfortable there, and at the same time it is free. In general, a paid toilet, albeit symbolically, is nonsense.
We have just arrived from Minsk, we rested for 3 days..
Delight is complete, beautifully maintained, perfect cleanliness, perfect roads, a new awesome train station..
The 3-star Belarus hotel pleased me every day.
Great food, swimming pool, beautiful, huge lobby, friendly staff... Thank you Minsk for everything..
I want more.....
A great, beautiful, modern train station. It works around the clock. Who goes as a tourist is a plus. You can even drink tea, coffee, and have a snack at night. There is a waiting room on the 3rd floor for those waiting with plenty of seating. Round-the-clock security at the station, police everywhere, cameras. Burger king is open. However, it closes at 23 o'clock and opens around 7 in the morning. A clean, tidy, well-maintained place.
Very convenient location in the city center. Good access roads on both sides of the station. There is a metro very close by, during the daytime you can easily get anywhere in the city. There are several floors inside the building with all the infrastructure. Large information boards. Cleanliness inside and on the platforms. I would say that this is a benchmark among railway stations.
The station is very cozy, clean, we went to Minsk twice, both times during the New Year holidays. The station was very beautifully decorated, you can have a snack around the clock, have a full meal during the day, everything is clean, the toilet is paid, only 1 ruble, they take the world card, the toilet is very clean and comfortable. There are several exchange offices.
An excellent train station, it is fashionable to get by transport from almost anywhere in the city, the staff is responsive and kind, convenient navigation along the tracks and platforms. The building is gorgeous, and I would live in it myself. COME TO MINSK FOR SURE, WE ARE WAITING FOR EVERYONE!!!!
Everything is fine. The waiting room is super. The elevators are working. The storage rooms are great, I've checked in my things and you can walk around the city. You can have a snack. The only drawback was that the first time I searched for a toilet for a long time, because there are signs leading to the waiting room, but there are no signs from the waiting room to the toilet. I had to ask
A large, bright, clean and not overloaded train station! 4 levels with stairs, escalators and elevators, while everything works! A chic waiting room with good chairs and charging stations (sockets and USB ports in large numbers). There are several cafes on site and next to a large shopping center with a huge footcourt allow you to spend several hours waiting in comfort.
Great train station! Modern, stylish design. Everything is in marble, a lot of glass, which makes everything airy, transparent. Beautiful, light colors. I am pleased with the constant presence of policemen, which is good for protecting public order.
The train station is in the city center, all transport is nearby, and the bus station is also nearby, which is very convenient. Clean rooms, platforms. The toilet is paid ( 1 bel.ruble) the cards pass too. The waiting area is comfortable and spacious. True, some benches have a weakened frame, the neighbor in the back put something out of the luggage there - I was almost thrown off from the back!))) The train is branded 2nd clean modern reserved seat, set off exactly on time. The staff is all polite and friendly. There is an ATM and exchange offices (queues gathered at times, but not for long!) all right! Thanks!
Nice train station. One of the best I've ever been to. The navigation is great!
There are shops, a recreation area, and a waiting room with cafes and WiFi. And beautiful themed installations for tourists.
A large train station, convenient places to wait, was on New Year's holidays, there are photo zones for photos)) it's clean, which is a big plus, a souvenir shop with reasonable prices, you can have a snack, but I didn't)))
I expected more, to be honest)
I liked the free passage (without checks and tapes), there are islands with food and drinks, exchange offices, clear signs.
Of the cons: there still need to be more exchangers - long queues. A paid toilet! It's hard, because with suitcases and bags you have to stand in line at the exchange and only then run to the ladies' room. It's not convenient, it's not thought out at all. I was also disappointed with the quality of baking: bakeries are not a Belarusian specialty)))
The people are friendly, which, of course, is nice!!
Minsk always stands out for its cleanliness and scope. The streets are wide, and life is slow and measured. Accordingly, Minsk Railway Station is no exception. Everything is clear and understandable. There are pointers everywhere and you can't get lost. Two metro lines for easy transportation. Clean, clean, clean and European-style restrained. Access to the platform from the station building and the waiting room on the second floor. You can check in your luggage for a small amount. Have a snack and watch the news of Belarus)
I will definitely come again.
Convenient location of the station to the city center. But, as for me, it takes a long time to walk from another branch, for example to the train station, or along the transitions from the bus, or even from the subway to the station itself :) The station itself has glass ceilings. Nicely. There is a small waiting room on the third floor. Quiet. On the first board with the train schedule. The platforms are conveniently located if you enter through the station. Once I barely managed to catch a train because I didn't know how to get to Peron. I saw the train within walking distance, but I had to run inside the station to climb the peron from the inside, you can't approach the cars from the side, from the street! There is a kiosk with magazines inside. We always take books or magazines there for the road. There is a wide variety and you can find rare magazines! Prices are slightly inflated for groceries at food stalls. There is an exchanger! Parking is far away (if you leave the car for a week)! It is better to arrive/leave by taxi or metro.Overall it is beautiful.
A very bright and beautiful modern train station. There are many places in the waiting rooms, there are racks for charging gadgets and free Wi-Fi. The 24-hour luggage storage is open without interruptions. The cost of storing one piece of luggage is 2 Belarusian rubles per day (approximately 56 Russian rubles). As everywhere in Belarus, payment by bank card is possible, but only - the WORLD. The toilet is paid (1 Belarusian ruble) - you can also use the WORLD card. Ascent and descent between floors - escalators and elevators. Descent to the platforms from the 3rd floor from the waiting room - travolators. There are many places to eat. There are 24-hour exchange offices and ATMs. On the second floor there is a winter garden. Everything is very clean and friendly staff. Everyone speaks Russian. Next to the train station there is a huge Galileo shopping center with food courts, a restaurant and FREE toilets.
The railway station is located almost in the center of the city, near the bus station, friendly staff, there is a cafe for a snack while waiting for the train, a large number of ticket offices, access to the platforms through an underpass.
It is a very beautiful train station, and most importantly, it is extremely convenient for passengers. Truly, together with the forecourt, it is the business card of the beautiful city of Minsk. This is how the capital's railway station should be! I love Belarus and its beautiful people, I wish you happiness, and I wish you peace and kindness!!! With love from St. Petersburg and Vyborg
Everything is very well thought out for passengers. It is convenient to access any platform via an underpass. Everywhere there are signs and signs with the name of the route and the platform number. Electronic information boards are located right on the street in front of the underpass, so there is no need to carry luggage to squeeze
The station is convenient and spacious, there are many places to wait, there are points for charging mobile devices, retail outlets where you can buy grocery and non-grocery goods. Convenient implementation with access to platforms and an excalator system. I had to sit and wait for the train, so I appreciated all the convenience👍
Minsk railway station is quite large, 3 floors, but there are elevators and escalators. Near the Galileo shopping center. In the station itself there is a cafe-dining room on the 3rd floor and a good place where you can drink delicious coffee. And of course, you can take beautiful photos for memory!
Convenient location, there is a dining room, shops. Inexpensive luggage storage. A large waiting room.
Of the cons: leaving the waiting room, for example, to platform 6 you need to go down rather steep steps, it is very difficult with a suitcase. And the platform is not on a level with the carriages, there are steps too.
Convenient train station, plenty of seats in the waiting room, there is an opportunity to eat, buy souvenirs and even Belarusian knitwear, linen clothes. There is a lot of information about the departure and arrival of trains. Conveniently, it is possible to get to the train directly from the waiting room. It's beautiful, convenient, and safe.
There are many disadvantages, you can have tastier food and coffee, more comfortable chairs in the waiting room, the exchanger is open, and not under repair, the break is eternal… But this is my favorite Minsk railway station. I always love Minsk, a symbol of Minsk for me. It gives you the feeling of coming home when you arrive, and the anticipation of a pleasant trip when you leave.
Everything is very well done. Especially the descent to the platform for boarding the escalator. Very convenient. Only the waiting room is a little small. We were on Sunday afternoon, barely found a place to sit down.
We were traveling from Minsk to Brest in October. A Soviet-style railway station. Everything is very dignified, in the spirit of that time. Of course, the platform itself, as in Soviet times, without markings for wagons, fences, etc.The speaker on the loudspeaker talks about the numbering of the cars before the arrival of the train, so you need to listen carefully. The platform is low, so it is certainly not convenient to get into the car with suitcases. In general, everything is very good. Cleanliness and order are maintained, but you can't count on more. In general, everything is OK for us who grew up in Soviet times, I recommend it as an alternative to a car trip.
The train station is wonderful. The location is very convenient, good transport interchange. There is a cafe, but I do not recommend it. Large luggage storage, low prices (I paid 120 rubles per day for two bags).
The station is spacious. There are many recreation areas. Everything is conveniently arranged. Clean, beautiful. No migrants. Service staff, all local residents. There is everything you need. And buffets and toilets
The Minsk Gate is not just an architectural monument, it is a real symbol of the city and its history! Majestic towers decorated with coats of arms and clocks greet the guests of the city right at the railway station, creating a feeling as if you have entered the past. This place is an ideal combination of the Stalinist Empire style and the modern energy of Minsk. The gates look especially beautiful in the evening when the lights turn on and they literally start to shine. The photos here are amazing!
The train station is excellent, looks like an airport, modern, very bright and clean. All the infrastructure is there, there are shopping malls with restaurants and cafes around, so if you don't want to sit at the train station, you can spend time in them.
I'm always in favor of the train. The train usually arrives in the city center, where you can see all the beauty, affordable transport, etc.In Minsk, you will also find the cleanliness of the streets for yourself, it immediately catches your eye and perfectly clean facades, from which plaster and balconies do not fall
The shopping center is next to the train station. Shopping, cafes, local cuisine Cornflowers - this is a very tasty meal. Thank you.
The station is clean, spacious, and the exchange rate is acceptable for several changes.
A chic, clean, comfortable and beautiful train station. A large hall and a huge scoreboard. You can go down to the subway directly from the station building or cross the road through the underpass and take a tram or bus and get from anywhere in the city.
Beautiful, comfortable, modern.
From the waiting room to the platform, you can go down the escalator with your belongings - it's super convenient.
The toilet is clean, there is no smell, there is a cupboard with keys so that you can leave things.
We should go to Moscow like this.
Wonderful!!!
There is an interesting beauty all around...and take pictures and spend time mentally
Installations...winter garden...The glowing Christmas trees are just lovely!
Not for the first time, but admires as the first
And everything is sooo convenient for passengers!
Wonderful train station!
It costs 2 bel.rubles to put one place in the luggage in the luggage room, it's just fantastic
The prices for a snack at the train station are just as fantastic
Definitely worth going there for a vacation! We are shocked)) the same potato pie at the Moscow railway station in St. Petersburg costs exorbitantly, but here the usual price is
Prices are regulated at the state level!
Respect to the country's leadership!!!
The station is spacious. There are many recreation areas. Everything is conveniently arranged. Clean, beautiful. Service staff, all local residents. There is everything you need. And buffets and toilets
It's a very nice and cozy train station. A lot of photo zones have been made. It is convenient to move around with luggage. There is an elevator, an escalator. But one disadvantage is that the toilet is paid. There is a long queue in the luggage room.
