Old Gagra is a fairy tale!!! The hotel is located in a gorge, it's cool in the heat, the rooms are clean, the hosts are excellent!!! Nature is surrounded by a fairy tale, the sea is clear!!! The prices are reasonable enough!!! We will definitely come again!!!

We rested with our son at the Panther mini-hotel from 7.08 to 08/17/2024. A great vacation. Cozy room, has everything you need: shower,toilet WI-FI, kitchen, dishes, beautiful view from the room, not far from the sea. Albina is a very friendly hostess who can quickly resolve all issues.
The hotel is located in a gorge, which has very big advantages. There is no stuffiness outside, the sun does not bake, in the evening it is very pleasant to listen to the murmur of a mountain river. If you climb up the gorge a little, you can get to a pleasant place with the waterfall of the Gagrypsh River. Silence, mountain air, the chirping of cicadas. Thank you very much to the owners of the hotel. We look at the photo and want to go back.

Vacationing with my wife in this wonderful place Panther, at the end of September 2024. Truly a paradise)! For those who seek solitude with nature. The hotel is small, compact, the room has everything you need, clean, cozy, hot water and light-without interruptions. The kitchen deserves special attention. A gas stove, two microwaves, three refrigerators, and all the necessary utensils, as well as a couple of comfortable sofas, sitting on them you can drink a cup of coffee or a glass of wine, in nature, under the murmur of a mountain river, this is bliss). The sea is just around the corner, along the way there is a shop and a dining room (to the right of the traffic light). Thank you so much to the hostess Albina and her husband for their comfort and responsiveness)!!! I recommend it!

I rest at the Panther Mini-hotel often and in all seasons alone and with my daughter, I am very happy with everything. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality, cordiality and attention. The rooms are clean, cozy, comfortable, i.e. they have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Air conditioning, shower, WI-FI, everything is in the room and working properly. The owners Albina and Shamil greet their guests like family, and you must agree, it is very pleasant to realize that they are waiting for you here and are glad that we are coming back again. The hotel is located in a gorge, where there is simply awesome nature, river, mountains, vegetation.The hotel has a kitchen (everything you need for cooking is available), a barbecue area. The sea is within walking distance!!! Very friendly and homely atmosphere. I recommend this mini-hotel to all my friends!!! There were such moments when it was impossible to fly, I refused the reservation and Albina, thank her very much for understanding, returned the entire amount of the reservation!!! We came to Panther with our friends at the end of July 2022. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality, cordiality and attention. Our room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. In general, we rested comfortably. We kept in touch with Albina before arrival, during and still do)
She organized a transfer for us from the airport and straight to the hotel, for which special thanks! I didn't have to do it on my own.
During my vacation, I met a young man and started chatting. 2 weeks after arriving home, I arrived again, but alone.
We talked at a distance for about a year, flew to each other every 2-3 months. And now, almost a year ago, I moved to the beautiful country of Abkhazia))
So, after the Panther hotel, you can stay in Abkhazia for a long time)))
P.S. Young girls are not being stolen here, as my girlfriends and I were warned)

We had a rest in the Panther mini-hotel (Staraya Gagra) from August 2 to August 10, 2024, with two families - 10 people! We are accommodated in a three-room room on the 1st floor. There are rooms and smaller ones. There are only 3 floors. There is everything you need to relax, you can cook yourself, for which there is a barbecue, a gas stove, a microwave, an electric kettle! A washing machine is available for a fee! I really liked the location - in the Gagripsh gorge on the shore of the mountain river of the same name! The shadow side, which is why the sun was already going into the shade after lunch, and the heat was practically not felt! Despite the presence of air conditioners in each of the rooms, we have not even used them more than once! The sea is close, the sea is clean, the pebble beach! Special shoes are needed! There are few people on the beach! A walk of no more than 10 minutes! On the way to the sea, the Bastion canteen with good quality food and shops with everything you need! The hosts try to help the vacationers in all matters: in everyday terms, in the organization of transfers and excursions! In general, well done! The contingent of vacationers: young people, families with children from different regions of Russia (Belgorod, Ryazan, St. Petersburg, Tolyatti, Orenburg) and Belarus! Many people go on their own, there are cars where to put them!We recommend the hotel to unassuming tourists who do not need an "olinclusive", but it is important to combine price and quality for a completely decent summer vacation!

We had a family vacation in September 2024. This is a great vacation!! It is very cozy, the temperature in the gorge is comfortable, you can warm up properly on the beach. It takes about 7 minutes to walk to the beach. Adequate neighbors, there is no definite time limit. The rooms are cozy and well cleaned. The rooms are different, according to your taste. The prices are adequate, they have never been inflated. Nature, as in the pictures. Albina, the landlord, is a very nice girl. He will tell you everything, show you, help you. The person gives himself into you and his business 100% of 100%. I didn't want to leave!! It was to Albina that we went more than once. It gets steeper and steeper every time!!!!

We had a rest with our daughter at the Panther mini-hotel (Staraya Gagra, Gagripsh gorge 17) from August 2 to 11, 2022.
Very hospitable hosts Albina and Shamil. Responsive and pleasant people.
A very cozy beautiful quiet place with a view of the mountains and a mountain stream. The dining room and grocery stores are a 5-minute walk away, the sea (beach) is a 7-minute walk away. Restaurants Prince of Oldenburg Park, Colonnade, bus stop are within walking distance.
The hotel rooms are clean, shower, toilet, Wi-Fi (rooms with and without balcony).
Refrigerator, TV in the hall. In the Kitchen you can cook food, tea (there are dishes). There is a cozy gazebo outside, for rest and food. We took advantage of the transfer from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport.
We enjoyed our stay, communication with the hosts, enjoyed the beauty of Gagra and the surrounding area, the sea, and went on excursions.

I stayed at the Panther Hotel on July 10, 2023, just after a terrible downpour, which on July 9 filled the mountain rivers so much that they rushed in a stormy stream, washing away the banks and uprooting trees right into the sea. When I arrived at 7 o'clock. On the morning of July 10, there was no light, there was no electricity, there was no water, except for the rapid flow of a mountain river. But the flow of the river gradually began to subside.Shamil, the owner of the Panther Hotel, did not lose his head, quickly got his bearings and delivered water from a spring in huge bottles to the hotel residents so that they could drink tea and cook on a gas stove, since electric stoves, alas, did not work. Shamil immediately gave me tea at 7 a.m. and treated me to watermelon for free.And in the evening, he distributed candles to everyone, and we dined by candlelight, drank tea from spring water and enjoyed the silence, purity, power of pristine nature and intimate conversation with the owner.Within two days, electricity and plumbing were restored, vacationers were oriented to clean beaches and gradually everything came to life. The mountain river was cleared, the trees and rubble were slowly dismantled. And I admired the beauty of this mountain river in the Gagripsh gorge. It is very long, flowing among huge mountains with wild impenetrable forest. It converges, then diverges. Springs with the purest water flow down from the mountains into the river, beautiful small waterfalls delight the eye. And now I couldn't figure out what I liked more: walking along the river in the morning, washing with spring mountain water, enjoying the beauty of steam over the river, in which the morning rays of the sun shimmer, the crystal purity of the mountain air or swimming in the sea. But the owner Shamil and the hostess Albina also turned out to be interesting people.
There was simplicity, modesty and an open loving heart in them. Nowadays it is difficult to meet a person whom you can touch with your soul.I was surprised by the host's ability to make pleasant gifts and surprises to all vacationers, as well as his wisdom and unobtrusiveness, and as a result, all vacationers eventually became good acquaintances and friends. And then I thought: We all ask God for love, but what does God give? Does love or does it send people to whom we can show this feeling? Think about it. And if you want to clear your mind, your feelings and open your heart to love, come to the Panther Hotel in the Gagripsh gorge to Shamil and Albina. And I thank Shamil and Albina for the unique opportunity to live at the same time among the blessings of civilization: electricity, warm water, an outdoor kitchen and live among wild mountains, real jungles, drink fragrant coffee by a mountain river under a palm tree and enjoy the sunrise. Of course, it is very difficult to maintain a hotel in such a hot and humid climate. They are great that they constantly update something, touch up, but how else. Thanks to Albina, who answers the phone quickly and is happy to receive guests, I am again spontaneously going to spend a month with them again in August 2024. And my heart rejoices with the anticipation of enjoying the beauty of this place and communicating with the owners again. And if a person doesn't like it, he will never go to this place again for a month. This is a place for those who love life or for those who are ready to open their hearts.

Hello, I stayed at this hotel in 2022. Everything is just wonderful!!! Gorgeous rooms! The hotel grounds are simply magnificent! The hotel is within walking distance from the sea. There is also an excellent infrastructure. A very good hostess. I'm going to go in September. Albina, everything is at the highest level. You're just great!!! Thank you and your team!!! First of all, I would like to note that the Panther mini-hotel is located in a gorge in staraya Gagra, so you do not languish from the heat here. The beach is really 500 meters away. Along the way there are mini-shops, the Bastion canteen. Lunch of the first and second courses cost at least 500 rubles per person. Such prices are everywhere. We compared them.
We booked a room in the winter of 2024 for the period from 07/18/2024 to 07/28/24. We were afraid that, as in the reviews about Abkhazia, the owners would overplay everything and offer a completely different room for a higher price or even say that there are no rooms. But there were no pitfalls. Everything is as agreed. The cost of an economy room for two people with a bathroom is ONLY 1,500 rubles! We still have to try to find such a price for such a room in staraya Gagra. The photos correspond to reality. Fi-fi is free. Change of linen 500 rubles. Washing of personal items in the machine is 200 rubles. for one wash. We maintained the cleanliness ourselves.
Our room had a separate entrance and its own, albeit small, recreation area (a table and two plastic chairs). There are only two such rooms. The room has a decent bathroom. Clean. It is finished with tiles. There is no air conditioner, but it is not needed, because in the heat it is very comfortable there because of the location in the gorge: a refreshing breeze, pleasant coolness, clean air, lots of greenery around. During the peak hours of the sun, we returned to the hotel from the beach to take a break from the midday heat. There is no refrigerator in the room, but we did not need it, because we are accustomed to eating in the kitchen. We had separate shelves in the refrigerator in the kitchen.
The shared kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There are enough dishes. Order. There is a barbecue. It is very pleasant to eat outdoors in the shade, listen to the murmur of the river, the singing of birds.
There is no TV in the room. We didn't need him either. We returned from the beach for lunch and slept. In the evening, you bring your head to the pillow and pass out. I sleep very well there!
We would like to express our gratitude to Bariyat and Alexey for the trip to the hydrogen sulfide springs in the village of Kyndyg. The place is magical: the scent of eucalyptus trees, the heat is not felt, the skin after baths and dirt is like a newborn!
Special thanks to Albina! Responds to messages quickly, always in touch, everything is honest.
The old Gagra is very beautiful, which cannot be said about the new Gagra. The new one has dense buildings, so it's hot, there is more choice of housing, little greenery, a stone embankment, crowded and a lot of shops. We didn't like it. There are practically no shops in staraya Gagra, there are enough cafes, few people, parks drowning in vegetation; a green embankment, so we did not regret choosing a place and a hotel to relax!
A general wish for those looking for housing and a place to relax in Abkhazia: for very demanding tourists who prefer to rest like savages, it is better to postpone the trip until better times due to local features that cannot be described here. And there's no need. Everyone has their own priorities. On vacation, you need to relax, and not emphasize everything that you are not used to. If you still decide to go on a trip, then relax, have fun and you will be happy!

Good day to all! We rested at the Panther mini-hotel 👍🏼 Our trip started spontaneously, so we didn't book anything in advance! Upon arrival, and I want to note that we had a very early arrival at about 4 a.m., we started looking for a place to check in "at such and such a time, hardly anyone will answer" we thought! But "Oh, a miracle!" Albina called us back! Responsive and pleasant, she told me where to come to which street! Fortunately, we were very close! We were settled in, the rest was great! We had a room with a balcony, it was very convenient to sit there in the evenings to listen to the murmur of a flowing river, coolness and a good view of the mountains! The kitchen was shared, but there was an additional refrigerator in my room, air conditioning in the room, but we did not use it because during the day we walked around Abkhazia and on the beaches, and in the evening it was not needed! Shower, toilet are all in the room, there are different rooms for checking in, of course, but we liked ours without anything superfluous! There is a TV in the lobby, but on vacation probably not up to it at all! The beach is a 7-minute walk away, there are shops, canteens, cafes nearby, which is very convenient! If you want a quiet and cozy place to relax, you are not here! Repairs are carried out from morning to late evening, dust and noise of the perforator are provided for you throughout the rest. The owners do not make contact, they did not inform about the repair earlier, it was quiet on the day of arrival, they asked to pay for all days of stay on the same day (the amount is not refundable)They left at night, asked for a couple of hours not to make noise, to rest before the road, it was useless for them to spit on vacationers.To take a garbage bag, you need to listen to the dissatisfaction of the hostess. Parking spaces are not provided, the car is parked on the street along a narrow road where other cars pass by.We have been traveling to Abkhazia for many years, but this is the first time I have encountered this.The long-awaited vacation is ruined!PS:They didn't finish the repairs! The advantages are definitely the location of the hotel!! The air is mixed with both mountain and sea!!! You'll forget about asthma and allergy. It is especially beautiful to watch the sun rise in the morning from the balcony! The place is quiet and impassable (cars practically do not drive). There is a good dining room nearby and inexpensive. The road from the sea to the hill (small), but it was a joy for me, at least some kind of physical activity. Well, the most important thing is that the owners of the hotel are hospitable and indifferent to other people's troubles. When I had a problem during my vacation, they responded and helped. My son and I had a rest from August 31 to September 5, 2022 at the Panther Guest House
at 17 Gagra, Gagripsh Gorge str. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a kind, responsive hostess Albina. The rooms are clean, there is a balcony and without a balcony, snow-white bed linen in each room, split systems, toilet, shower in the rooms. It is very convenient that there is a kitchen with a gazebo where you can cook, dishes, microwave, refrigerators, everything is like at home. A mountain stream flows under the house, you can leave the house and after 2 minutes you are in the forest, climbing higher you are alone with the beauties and its splendor, you can swim in spring water.

We are currently vacationing at this hotel. The check-in happened on July 8th. There has never been a worse holiday in all our vacations. For some reason, the owners of the hotel decided that the renovation of their hotel and our vacation were quite compatible ... and from morning to evening a puncher, a drill and something else worked. Coming to the room at lunch, we were forced to listen to this noise. A 67-year-old mother was taken on vacation, she went to the sea once a day, since the sea was far away and she had to listen to the sounds of repairs! Is this normal? We paid 5000rubles per day for the room. 5000₽ for the noise and dirt of the repair work!
No one bothered to warn us in advance. And they did not consider it necessary to explain themselves either. And why? People do business.
Albina began to avoid us, did not answer calls and SMS. In 10 days, the room was not cleaned at any time, there was no change of towels or linen either. But the laundry is 200 rubles, and if we wanted to change the linen - 500rubles
There's dirt everywhere. The furniture in the kitchen is covered with midges.

We lived as a family from August 18 to August 25..A great place, the room was on the 3rd floor, with a great view.There was always water and light , they didn't turn it off. The road to the sea is 5-7 minutes, easy and without slides. The air in this place is incredible, I didn't want to leave. There are no mosquitoes at all. Let's come back here again, with pleasure.
