Dear travelers! This review is for those who are considering their vacation at the Milaidhoo Hotel on the Milaidhoo island of the same name in Baa Atoll. I will try to make my review as objective as possible. So: The hotel does not have its own lounge at Male airport, it uses the lounge of the airline Manta Air, on whose plane we arrived on the island. In the lounge you can take a shower and have a snack after a long flight. The seaplane flight takes about 30 minutes. The plane does not dock on the island, there is no airplane pier on the island, but disembarks passengers and luggage on a small platform open without a canopy in the sea. This is the concept of the hotel. This is done for the privacy of the guests, so that the sound of airplanes and the smell of kerosene do not interfere with their rest. Then passengers are transported by boat to the next three or four hotels. If there is a wave in the sea, and we had it that way, the small platform goes up and down, it is very difficult to stand on their feet, some sit on the deck to hold on. Suitcases are laid flat so that they do not fly into the sea. It takes another five minutes by boat to reach the island. The friendly Belgian Paul van Frank and our butler met us at the pier, then we were escorted to the island and treated with welcome champagne. The hotel has a total of 50 villas, of which 30 are water-based, 20 are land-based. The island is small, quiet, and very green. It took only 15 minutes to walk along the shore, it is 300 meters long and 180 meters wide. Villas starting at 1xx and 401 are water-based, at 2xx, 301-302 are land-based. The hotel has a system of personal butlers, which indicates the high level of the hotel. All butlers speak English, and the hotel also has one Russian-speaking butler for guests from Russia. We had a Maldivian butler, Abdullah. Very polite and pleasant. Thank you to him for our support and his high professionalism. The hotel is designed for a maximum of one hundred guests. Although we were on the island in April, which is still considered high season in the Maldives, the hotel was only half full. There were few people. No children were seen at the hotel. There are not many people on the island, everyone gathers only for breakfast and once on Mondays at a cocktail party from the hotel management, at 17:30, at sunset in the Compass bar. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10:30 in the main Ocean restaurant. There are fresh juices, smoothies. Snacks can be taken at the buffet, and main dishes can be ordered from the menu. There is champagne on request. The breakfasts are very tasty and of high quality. There is a schedule of the day's activities on each breakfast table. There are four restaurants on the island, three are compact, one behind the other. Ocean (breakfast, lunch and evening a la carte), Grill (evening a la carte), Compass (bar, there are only lunches and evening live music), and a separate Bateli on the sea (bar and evening a la carte), stylized as three huge wooden Maldivian boats motionless at a special pier. The Bateli restaurant needs a reservation through your butler, places are limited. The food in all the restaurants is very good. Waiters in restaurants remember the preferences of guests, it's nice! Since there are few people on the island, the Bateli and Grill restaurants are not open every evening. The menu in all restaurants is in English only. There is no Russian menu, it will be difficult to order from the menu without knowing English. Yes, and it's not easy to order with English, but the staff is very friendly, they try to help you when ordering. There is a wide variety of fruits in all restaurants for absolutely different tastes. Fruits are not spared here. The chef on the island has his own vegetable garden and greenhouse. The greens in the restaurants are the freshest. We were very satisfied with the cuisine in this hotel. I would like to mention another employee of the hotel. In different restaurants, we were served by the waiters Miyuri, Jhosna and Shiaz, who were very polite and professional, we are very pleased with their work, and we thank them very much. The time on the island corresponds to Male time, that is, Maldivian time. Many hotels shift the time, this hotel does not. The fins taken from the diving center turned out to be Scubapro, soft and comfortable. There are no bicycles for guests on the island. Everyone moves on foot, the island is small. You can walk barefoot, fine white sand everywhere. But you can summon a buggy with your butler. The room has wide panoramic windows, a large bedroom, and all the equipment is working. Good water pressure. The air conditioner in the room is not blowing on the bed. Additional air conditioning in the bathroom, which is very rare in the Maldives. The room has a coffee machine, a kettle, and four liter bottles of Bone-aqua branded water. The minibar is chargeable for all types of meals (except water, crackers, coffee and tea). One bottle of welcome champagne, a box with two sweets and a plate of fruit are free of charge. We were replenished with fruits every other day, because we didn't have time to eat during the day. The room has very comfortable mattresses and high-quality blankets and pillows. There is an additional pillow menu. The sockets in the room are suitable for European plugs, you do not need to take adapters with you. You do not need a password for Wi-Fi in the hotel. Cleaning of the villa twice a day. The water villa has a nice, wide and gentle staircase to the water. There is a shower in the villa when leaving the water. There is a reef on the island, the reef is good, it stretches around the whole island. The water villas, which face north, are only 50 meters away, in other places a little further from the shore. The reef is interesting, there are a lot of fish, every day we swam on the reef with a turtle, which is completely unthreatening. Many times we came across a large sand shark in the ocean, it swam away from us. In the Maldives, you should be wary of the black and yellow trigger fish, this fish can sometimes be biting and aggressive if it thinks that you are on its territory. Bites swimmers on the back of the neck and calves. Dolphins swam along the water villas several times in the morning and evening. Next to the Compass restaurant there is a gym, billiard room and a small (25m) hotel swimming pool with a sunbed and umbrellas area, there is a sandy lagoon with turquoise water and soft sand, where you can just swim without coral slippers. The water is clear and ultramarine in the sun. Paul van Frank personally saw us off again, and we parted as close friends. Milaidu is one of the best hotels in the Maldives, where we managed to visit. Quiet, peaceful, green, with good and delicious food, friendly and attentive staff. Fashionable, you might say, and expensive. The concept of this hotel is friendly and elite service for every guest. I want to come back here. I recommend the hotel. Whether to come here or not, the decision will always be yours. Maldives is a paradise on earth. Have a good trip and new experiences!

Sooooo boring, the deluxe level, how the hotel positions itself, does not feel like anything, a small simple island at an insane price
