How do I get a residence permit in Kazakhstan? How to start obtaining a residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan?
Read the step-by-step instructions and the list of necessary documents for obtaining a residence permit in Kazakhstan:
Step 1. International passport
To obtain a residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan, you must have a foreign passport. A residence permit of the Republic of Kazakhstan is issued for the period of validity of a foreign passport, but not more than 10 years. The main page of the passport must be translated into Russian or Kazakh (if necessary) and notarized.
Step 2. Certificate of non-criminal record
First of all, order a certificate of non-criminal record. To obtain a residence permit in Kazakhstan, the certificate of non-conviction must be paper, with a living signature and seal, apostilled. An electronic one with a digital signature is not suitable in this case. It is usually issued on the territory of the country of citizenship or at the embassy/consulate of the country of residence in Kazakhstan.

Step 3. Proof of solvency

Tuberculosis.
Leprosy (Hansen's disease).
Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) - syphilis, venereal lymphogranuloma (donovanosis), chancroid.
Acute infectious diseases (except acute respiratory viral infections and influenza).
