One of the advantages: A small room, lots of mini sofas, there are TVs - if you find a remote control, you can watch something with sound))) It's clean enough.
One of the disadvantages: food. Only fruits, mini cakes, and sandwiches are freely available.
To order food, you need to "catch" the administrators and order food and drinks from the menu. Coffee/tea is also made by admins, meaning there is no habitual access to a coffee machine.
Some of the USB sockets are not working. The input is only on a regular USB, so it will not be so easy for owners of iPhones with fast charging to charge the gadget. It would be great if we added modern connectors, or extension cords with regular charging outlets.
The four of us visited this place with friends last night while we were waiting for a flight to Moscow. People, especially cooks, are very helpful and friendly, and that's where the benefits ended. Food - you can eat, but it just wasn't delicious to anyone. Even the pears are tasteless) BUT! This is NOT what I would like to emphasize.
Situation: the flight did not go well at all. EACH of us has an upset stomach, two of us have nausea and vomiting, and one of us vomits so much that she only had time to go to the bathroom the whole flight. They flew absolutely green from this whole story.
AT THE SAME TIME: we did not drink alcohol. We all ate DIFFERENT kinds of food (some porridge, some samsa, some shawarma) and so on
It's a nightmare, this is the first time I've encountered such a thing, it's obviously unsanitary. We do NOT recommend it!!
The CIP lounge at Samarkand International Airport did not make an impression: a meager assortment of buffets, plastic / cardboard dishes, slow service (even pour hot water from a kettle - you have to wait for the "bartender"), alcoholic beverages - for a fee. For passengers who are not members of airline loyalty programs, paying 50 USD each to visit this CIP lounge did not seem very reasonable...
