The expanding Tokyo airport used to be the main one for international flights to Narita, but now it has become Haneda. I really liked the airport itself. although the walking distances are huge, but you can handle it. For those who are having a hard time, there are golf carts. There is a monorail going from/to the airport. Travel time depends on the type of train, but within 20-35 minutes. For example, the train to Narita is 1h 20 min. The biggest disadvantage, which, however, does not apply to the airport itself, is the complete lack of navigation at Tokyo Central Station. Everywhere there are only signs for the express to Narita, which no one needs. It was with great difficulty that we "dug out" the way to the monorail, but even there it was not without adventures. After the metro, you immediately get to the monorail platform, bypassing the ticket offices. Haneda is not listed as a destination in ticket vending machines! I had to ask the janitor's uncle to let me go back to the ticket machines. He reacted with understanding, but had to skip the train. I hope everything will get better there, but in December 2023 it was quite a quest :)

A wonderful airport with clear navigation, affordable and delicious cafes, shops, a smoking room, a clear and friendly staff and a convenient waiting area.
It is convenient to get from / to the airport by monorail train, which runs every 10 minutes and takes you to the metro in 20 minutes, and then to any part of the city. At the airport upon arrival, you can immediately buy a local SIM card for the Internet for 1,3,8 unlimited days, change money (there are automatic terminals in which you invest dollars, euros, etc. and get yen, even a passport is not needed, dollars everywhere accept any old and new.
