The airport has all you need. Food, free internet, WC, shops, SIM cards, money exchange. The only negative point is the fact that the seats seems not to be enough in peak times, so there is a dispute for places.

Please stop open check-in on board in 1:45 before flight! I have flight in 13:50, now is 13:10, and im still don't pass the passport control.
Please, give the passengers more time!!!!!

We arrived 3.06.2023 from Antalya, tired and exhausted from night flight, with hope what we can get a taxi to our hotel.
On the way out there were a lot of taxi drivers who offer us a ride. I was tired and decide to go, on my questions about price they did not answer and say we will ride with taxi meter.
Taxi driver took our baggage to “help” but in fact he locked it inside his trunk. Then we get to our hotel he told me that ride cost 100 €. But in fact this trip cost 5€. Unfortunately I did not use option to call to police. So I gave him 30€ and told him to leave us and give my luggage back. This guy was trying to grab my luggage and clothes and asking fore more money.
It is very sad situation.
I recommend to use Yandex taxi or Bolt to avoid this problems.
I recommend Georgian government to stop this scam and take it under control.
Georgia is beautiful country with nice and friendly people, but taxi drivers do their best to spoil impression of your country.
I hope you will take it into account.

But on arrival, if several planes arrive at the same time, then there is a very long queue for passport control. But the border guards are working fast, waiting for a maximum of an hour.

Small, but comfortable. The entrance to the airport is free - without barriers. Several long-term parking lots. The closest one to the departure hall is just around the corner from the building. There were enough empty seats for my arrival. It was really late at night. No ticket is issued at the entrance. Payment at check-out, which is extremely inconvenient. I paid with a card. I did not find payment terminals in the airport building - neither on arrival nor on departure. After leaving the parking lot, it was necessary to drive up to the arrival hall. But the U-turn, the closest allowed one, turned out to be very far away. The U-turn near the airport was blocked for some reason. It turned out to be very difficult to drive up to the Arrival doors (at night) - the entire front lane was occupied by a taxi, and there were a couple of police cars in the second row. I drove behind the second car - I had to pick up my family with the baby and luggage. The policeman began to chase me away with signals , but still allowed me to boot up. I still didn't understand how to do the "right thing" in their logic? Moreover, you can stop and unload your luggage in front of the departure hall without any problems.

Beautiful, modern, comfortable. The toilets are clean. Exchangers are extremely unprofitable for rubles, and the exchange conditions for dollars and euros are more or less humane. The waiting room is large, there is a place to sit. A lot of police officers keep order. There is an overabundance of taxi drivers in the arrival area. In the departure area, at the entrance, gypsies are grazing in droves, trying to guess. Parking is huge. The business lounge compares favorably with Moscow's large selection of food and drinks, including alcohol. Lots of tables, intuitive. A bus often goes to the city, for cheap. The souvenir, like everywhere else, is inhumane.

I really liked the airport, it was clean and tidy, but too many taxi drivers offer their services at high prices to the city. Yandex taxi to order is much cheaper....
There are disadvantages in customer service, unfortunately ignorance or rejection of the Russian language, and at international airports you need to know not only English. The good old airport station was much more cozy, warmer and more familiar /))

The car can be left free of charge in a vacant lot, in front of the police station, across the road 200m from the airport for 2 weeks I left no problem.

Compact airport, 20-30 minutes drive from Tbilisi. Very small in size. It's clean, they speak English and Russian. More or less intuitive navigation.

A beautiful country, wonderful people, a nice small airport. But the airport staff overshadowed the whole trip. Namely, they are not at all familiar with the international rules for the transportation of goods. A Swiss knife (blade 4 centimeters) was not allowed in hand luggage. To all attempts to prove that there is a right to transport, the answer is the same: we cannot. They don't know the rules at all. The approach is stabbing, cutting is not allowed. And they don't know that there is a subparagraph in the rules. Because it is necessary to study here, and they learn baggage transportation apparently only from pictures, about what is possible and what is not. And the rules themselves, on the basis of which the pictures were drawn, were not seen in the eyes.

I was in transit at this airport, and, unfortunately, my impressions were extremely negative. I had to get out to pick up my luggage and go inside again. I was faced with an unpleasant attitude from taxi drivers and airport employees — communication is minimized, as if no one speaks any languages other than Georgian.
The business lounge seems to be quite good, but it is located on the second floor, and access to it is possible only after passing control. Up to this point, the choice is very limited — there are only a couple of coffee shops on the ground floor, including Costa Coffee, and the prices there are far from friendly. The lack of control at the entrance to the airport may seem like a plus to someone, but for me it's more of a security issue.
The most unpleasant moment was that my suitcase was opened, damaging the lock. At the same time, the staff did not show any interest in resolving the situation. I didn't see any politeness or simple human concern here. Given all the experience, I do not plan to fly through Tbilisi again and I do not advise others.

There are many exchange points on arrival and on departure. It is better not to change at the airport to go to the center of Tbilisi, I can make up to 30% losses. I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews. A bunch of homeless people on the ground floor. The seats are small and dirty, from homeless people. The staff basically does not speak Russian..you can't go up to the second floor, you're sitting in the trash, it smells terrible from the homeless. Security is at zero. The toilets have ice water, everything is broken. It's dirty in the gym. There are no normal cafes to wait out somewhere. I arrived at night, and took off in the morning. Sit in this swamp all night…
